I sighed heavily, feeling a headache making its way into my brain. 

Pulling a couple sheets of tissue, I rashly blew my very red nose. Then, I tried to focus on my computer screen.

Damn that Jooyeon. She was the same age as me, yet she can order me around. It was a Friday, for heaven's sake. Yet she just had to text me two hours ago saying that I had to hand in a report about metamorphic rocks by Saturday. 

I had already worked overtime for three days in a row, too. 

Money, baby, why the hell are you playing so hard to get.

I shivered as I felt the cold Winter making its way into my apartment. Who knew that this Winter was going to be this cold?

I pressed the save key and quickly sent my report to Jooyeon's email, after fifteen more minutes of working on it.

Standing up, I was about to go into my bedroom when my mobile phone rang.

I glanced briefly at the clock.

11:11 pm

Time to make a wish, I mused, taking my time to reach my ringing mobile phone. I wish that this call is actually useful. I wish that this call is not stinking Jooyeon giving me more work.

"Hello?" I answered.

The line was dead silent aside from someone's shallow breathing. 

"Hello?" I tried again, becoming more and more irritated by the second. I was tired, and it was pretty late.

I glanced down at my phone, the caller was private.

Just when I was about to hang up, someone spoke.

I knew that voice. It was a person  I was once familiar with. It was somehow painful listening to him, after such a long long time.

"Miyeon-ah."
