[ Rose POV] 

“ Rose, you have been home almost all week go take a walk ” my dad barked at me 

“ Do I have to take a walk, I'm not feeling too well ” I lied while slowly backing up towards the stairs to make a run for it. 

“ Rose! ” my dad shouted causing me to automatically freeze

“ I know, I will go take a walk ” I replied while walking to the shoe rack slowly. 

“ Good and try to make some friends ”my dad said while shoving me out the door.

I have only been living in Korea for a week and I'm already fed up, probably because I'm not use to people glaring at me and making rude comments about my hair and skin. Just because the media portrays a race as loud, rude, and harmful doesn't mean every one of that race is the same.

What happened to getting to know the person before judging them, trust me there are a lot of nice people in Korea but most I have met are just ignorant. There is no way I'll be able to make friends I thought to myself as I walked around the block.

While walking I saw so many happy couples which bummed me out because I'm going to be forever lonely. 

“Life is so sad ” I sighed to myself as I walked by a park thinking about how much fun it was when I and my friends in America played at the park
