-Maci's POV-

"I can't believe you would even say that"

My nose wrinkled in disgust "what do you want me to say? He loves me and I love him? I wouldn't even know if I would be alive after saying that!"

The newspaper titled "Luhan was a boy toy?! Girl states that Luhan means nothing to her" crumpled in Luhan's hands

Before I could say another word, Luhan smashed the paper ball onto the floor in anger

"What are you doing?! You're going to break the light and my things if you miss the floor!"

"So the floor is more important than me right now!?" Luhan raged

"Did I say that?! Stop intrepreting things all on your own!"

Luhan plopped himself onto the sofa

"it's hard for me too...Oppa sometimes I think that...this isn't it"

"what are you saying??" Luhan's round doe eyes glared up at me

"I'm asking you, is this what you want? Is this worth it? Look at us! We don't smile anymore and we always fight. We're not happy."

"You want to leave" Luhan scoffed in disbelief

"I do. I would have if it wasn't for you"

"So I'm holding you back? Is that what you're saying?!"

This time it was my turn to scoff in disbelief "I can't believe you! before you were always so understanding and kind! Why can't you tell that I'm asking if you still want me here! Because I could have left long ago! But I stayed! I FREAKING stayed for YOU!"

Tears welled in my eyes, I always believed people especially other girls who cried over guys and their break ups were weak. But now I know how it feels "I can't believe this! I can't live this lifestyle!"

"Yah whats with all the noise? I could hear yelling from the hallway"

I swiped my tears away, Luhan didn't see did he??

"oh oppa. You can relax here I'm going to go buy some groceries"

I brushed past Sehun, while he called out after me "Yah! Fans! How are you-"

I leaned against the door for a brief second before strutting towards the emergency stairway

-Kris POV-

Man...it's been so long since i've last seen her

No other girl has been able to make my heart pound like she has

I hope the distance I've made has finally made the heart pounding cease when I see her

My head bobbled with every step I took up, yup I went there

To avoid her, I don't even take the elevator anymore

I always use the stairs, ever since that time we fought in the elevator...

But I always wonder how she is. Is she alright? It seems as if almost every few weeks there is a new scandal about them

It must be so hard for her to deal with it...and the fans all gang up on her

"Stupid Stupid stupid deer!"

I froze in my steps, my heart dropped at the sound of her voice

it's her! It's really her!

"Jerk! Jerk! JERK!@!"

My lips trembled, unconciously I inched forward towards the railing and peeked upward to find her splayed out on the stairs

"M-Ma-"

A door suddenly exploded open

"Maci! yah! I was looking all over for you"

Maci sniffed "Kai oppa?"

"Silly why are you sitting here alone crying?"

I backed away from the two, and sat down. 

I always miss my timing, I guess it was just meant to be

-Maci's Pov-

"Kai Oppa?" 

As dirty as it was, I attempted to swipe away my tears with my sleeve

"Yah Babo! Why are you here crying alone!" his lean fingers caressed my face

I missed that feeling, that feeling of being protected and cared for

I stayed silent while he sat beside me

We ended up sitting in the staircase for 2 hours, Kai oppa silently lent me his shoulder for those two hours

Eventually, We headed to Sm building where we ate ramen in the practice room 

Afterwards I sat against the mirror and watched as Kai danced before me

It was magical, Music truly cleanses the soul

"Oppa"

"huh?" Kai answered

"I wanted to ask you about that time. Why did you...?"

Kai bit the bottom of his pink lips, beads of sweat ran down the side of his forehead

I waited for him, he panted then chugged his water bottle down

I swiped the sweat from his forehead, worried that it would run into his eye

My jacket was already dirty, no harm done right?

He caught my arm and began to speak "this is why, I didnt want to but i couldn't help myself"

His cold eyes returned, this look always returned when I was no longer weak

"What are you talking about?" I wriggled my arm but he had a tight grip on my wrist "Oppa"

"The reason I kissed you is because I like you. I like that you're caring even to worry about small details. I needed a person like that and you were there"

"Y-you kissed her?!"

I gasped "Luhan oppa"

"Hyung!"

"HOW COULD YOU KAI!" Luhan gnarled, with quick movements he held Kai by the collar

"Oppa!"

Luhans grip tightened on the fabric of Kai's white T-shirt

"After all we've been through, you chose him? He's the reason why!"

Kai helplessly clung onto Luhan's arms

He didn't have faith in me....I think it crushed me

I scoffed and rolled my eyes in utter shock "I can't believe you think I was cheating on you! YOU JERK! YOU'RE THE REASON WHY! You and your fans!"

"Don't try to turn this on me!"

"Hyung! I kissed her It was my faul-"

Luhan exploded and landed his fist on Kai's face

Kai was tossed aside to the floor

It was the first time I've ever seen Luhan angry

The horrified and shocked look on Kai's face tells me it's his first time as well

Nonetheless I retorted "I can't believe you resorted to violence! Come on Kai let's go!"

I wrapped Kai's arm around my shoulder

"If you leave now, we're over"

I was rendered speechless

Kai wobbled forward throwing me off balance, Luhan flinched with his arms out ready to catch me

I caught myseld then looked into Luhan's eyes one last time before guiding Kai out of the room
