L’S POV

All of us just stared at Hoya, not believing the reality

“You guys,” he said as he started feeling uncomfortable under our stares

“Yah you bastard, how long were you going to pretend that you were dead?” I asked

“We’re your best friends no, your brothers. How could you be alive for 4 years and not even drop a hint that you were alive the entire time?” Sungkyu hyung said in disappointment

“Do you know how hard it was for us after losing you?” Dongwoo asked as he looked like he was about to cry

Hoya sighed “I’m sorry,” he said as he looked down on the floor

“It doesn’t matter as long as you’re with us now,” Sungyeol said as he tried making Hoya feel better

“But honestly it doesn’t matter what WE think…what about Bora noona? How is she going to react to this?” Sungjong asked

Once hoya heard her name he flinched

“You can’t avoid her forever. You both live in Korea, you guys are going to run into each other sooner or later,” I said

“I prefer later,” he said without hesitation

I sighed

“Alright but at least show yourself to the other girls. Show yourself to them not because they’re Bora’s best friends but because you are an oppa they love,” Sungkyu hyung said though it sounded more like an order

“But…”

“No buts, this is the least you can do for all us,”

“OH alright,” hoya said as he gave in

“Let’s go,” Woohyun said as he grabbed the car keys out of his pockets

“You want to go now?!” Hoya said completely startled

“Yeah let’s go,” and before Hoya can object we all grabbed him and pushed him in the backseat

We drove to Sungkyu hyung’s house where we knew the girls would be waiting for us and surprisingly the ride to his house was quiet. Usually we talk non-stop but I guess things changed…

SUNGKYU’S POV

We arrived at my house and got out

Hoya was the last one out and some of the others already went in while the others waited for Hoya to go in. I heard Hoya breathe in and out loudly and finally started walking in

Once we walked in I saw the atmosphere changed from when we left them. It was cold and uncomfortable, which means they know.

Once Hoya walked in the house GNA went up to him and slapped him

“That was for lying that you were dead,” Gna angrily said as she looked at him with piercing eyes

She slapped him again

“That was for Bora,” she said as her cold eyes were replaced with tears

Hoya looked at her with tears rolling down his face

I looked away as I couldn’t bear seeing him like that as this was the first time I saw him so…so pitiful

He suddenly went down on his knees

“I’m sorry,” he said as he couldn’t even lift his head up

“Sorry? Sorry?” She asked calmly yet fiercely

“You’re someone we’ve grieved for 4 years but you appear out of nowhere saying you were alive this entire time but, but most importantly Bora. Bora, during this time was the one who wouldn’t let you go. She loved you and she still does. She still only looks at you,” GNA said as her eyes were getting red from crying too much

I turned around to wipe my tears and turned around to hear Hoya sobbing

I saw GNA turning her back on him as she bawled

I turned to Soyu and saw her pounding her chest as she wept

I walked up to her and held her in my arms as I cried along with her

Suddenly someone’s phone started ringing and it was Soyu

She looked at her phone and froze         

SOYU’S POV

“It’s Bora,” I said

“Pick it up and put it on speaker phone,” GNA ordered

“GNA unnie come on Hoya o…”

“Do it,” she commanded and I did as she was told

“Uh Bora-yah,” I said as I tried sounding as happy as possible  

“Soyu-ya are you busy?” Bora asked 

“No, the girls are together right now so you’re on speaker phone,”

“Oh really?”

“Bora hi! You want to come over?” GNA unnie asked and I glared at her knowing her intentions but thankfully Bora said no

“Why not?” GNA unnie asked

“I’m not in the mood,”

“Aww why not?” Dasom asked as she started wiping her tears

“I miss him,” I heard her say as her voice started to crack

I couldn’t help but tear up again as I looked to see the expression on Hoya oppa’s face once Bora said that

He was about to break…even GNA unnie could tell

“Bora-yah,” I called out softly and lovingly

I heard her weep on the other end

“I…I’m trying to get over him b…but I love him…I can’t forget him…I just,” she stopped as she broke down

I put my hand over my mouth and cried silently

“Bora-yah do you really love him that much?” GNA unnie asked as I saw she was crying again

“Unnie…I can’t help it. He…he was my everything but…but,”

I looked over at Hoya oppa and saw him clench his fist as he wept                    

“You must have been really devastated when he died then huh?” Gna unnie continued to ask

“Unnie when he died…I was about to kill myself,” once Bora said Hoya’s head shot up and Gna unnie and Hoya oppa’s eyes met. With his eyes, he was begging her to stop

“I didn’t have any other choice so I started…started cutting myself,”

“Bora-yah,” GNA unnie interrupted 

“My heart aches hearing this so can we talk later? I would rather talk to you in person, please?” she asked and Bora said yeah sure very softly and GNA unnie ended the call and once she did, all I could hear was Hoya oppa’s cries

My heart broke…for both of them

Suddenly Hoya oppa yelled

He just screamed and screamed and started wailing

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” he continued to yell

We all looked away as we all were finally able to understand the pain he must have gone through as well…

GNA’S POV

I was testing his love for her and seeing him in this state broke me

I was cold to him but he melted my heart seeing his guilt and pain

He must really love her as well

HOYA’S POV
