Before dusk, you went to the balcony. You leaned against the door and carefully put your arm out. The sun warmed your hand. You smiled. The sun felt nice against your skin.
Out of nowhere, a hand slipped into yours.
You looked up in surprise.
Sungyeol was leaning against the opposite doorway gazing down your hand in his, “The sun feels nice…doesn’t it?”
You nodded.
“It’s my first time…I’ve always wanted to feel the sun without being hurt.” Sungyeol whispered. *Me, too.* You empathized.
“Now I can.” He looked at you, “Thanks to you.” You smiled.
Sungyeol smiled back and laced his fingers through yours. Both of you looked at your intertwined hands in the sunlight.

You bowed and slipped past him.
