Around midnight, you felt bored, tired, and alone so you decided to go home. You waited in front of the palace for the limo.

“Are you going home?” A voice asked. You turned your head.

L was walking towards you.

You nodded, ‘There’s nothing else for me to do here.’

“There are many things you can do here.” He said, amused.

You tilted your head, ‘Like what?’

“Like…” L took your hand and started running, “Play with me.” He looked back at you and smiled. Your eyes widened in shock *L oppa…smiled?!* He was the one who seemed so mysterious and distant.

You and L ran along the coast of the beach. He slowed down and you tried to catch your breath. You looked out at the dark sea. Carefully, you stepped to the waters and dipped your fingers in. It was freezing cold! You jumped and pulled your hand back.

L laughed.

You blinked at him *What’s so funny?*

“It’s not that cold.” L put his fingers in the water. He didn’t react to it at all. “See?” L lightly sprinkled you with water. You blinked, surprised by his playfulness. You smiled and splashed him. L stiffened. He slowly looked at you with a raised eyebrow.

Your face fell *Uh-oh.*

“Come here.” L said. You backed away.

He straightened up, “I said come here.” You just ran.

“YAH!” L went after you. In one split second, you were caught in his arms. Your eyes widened in horror. You had forgotten how fast he was.

L started to splash cold water on you. You looked away
