Adults have always told me to never make a person cry. They said that if I make a person cry, I will eventually cry as well. I promised myself to never make anyone cry… but I broke that promise.

Prologue
The rain pounded on her body like dropping pebbles. She was drenched from head to toe. It was difficult to see ahead of her since the water was blinding her dark chocolate brown eyes. Yet, she kept on walking, not knowing where her feet might take her. She was an ambitious and hot-blooded young woman. The young lady always knew where she was going and the destination she would end up stopping at. But this time, she didn’t know. She didn’t know where she was going. Heck, she didn’t even care if she ended up in Italy, which is practically half-way across the world from where she lives. The woman kept on walking with one main objective in her mind… ‘Get away from that man’.
Through the merciless rain, she heard a faint sound coming from behind her. The sound got louder and louder as seconds flew by. The sound meant trouble. It was excruciatingly annoying. The sound came to her like a cryptic shadow, sneaky and puzzling, yet irritatingly cacophonous. She did not know why the sound wouldn’t leave her alone. No matter how many times she told it to go away, it wouldn’t. It would just keep following her… like a shadow… her shadow.
The sound was more coherent now as it screamed, “Junghwa! Junghwa-ssi!”
She walked faster. Her legs felt like jello for what would seem like an eternity, but in reality, it was only an hour. Her shadow was that persistent.
Her shadow caught up with her, grabbed her arm, and spun her around to face it.
“Yah! Didn’t you hear me yelling out your name?!” The shadow asked, breathlessly.
The woman kept her trap shut because any of her replies would lead to nowhere like before. Anger and annoyance was clearly seen through her eyes. You would be very stupid not to notice it. He definitely saw it, but shrugged it off like he always did. He was not dense… just determined.
“Anyway, since we’re together, let’s go to your destination with each other, neh?” He revealed his infamous grin that annoyed the heck out of her.
“But first let’s go somewhere warm and dry. You’ll catch a cold in the rain. Aja!” He tried to put his arm around her shoulder, but she immediately pushed him away.
“What part of ‘leave me alone’ don’t you understand?!?! Damn it, Kyuhyun, stop following me! I don’t like you and I will NEVER like you. Compared to me, you’re just a mere low class citizen! I’m WAY out of your league, man! Why the hell would a beautiful, rich girl like me go out with a poor, ugly stalker?! Now go away and for the billionth time, LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!”
Instead of a clever retort like he would usually say after someone dissed him, he just simply smiled at her a gentle smile filled with adoration. No, he did not get mad that she called him a ‘poor, ugly stalker’ or a ‘mere low class citizen’. He was really used it by now. It actually made him fall deeper for her. It made him want her even more than 5 seconds ago. He instinctively pulled his blue, now wet, white striped beanie farther down on his head.
‘What the hell?! I told him to off and all he does is smile??’
“Tch! Crazy bastard. Are you retarded or something? Are you mental?” She scorned him.
His smile widened, “Yeah, I’m crazy. Crazy for you…”
‘Eww, eww, and double eww!’ She stuck her tongue out in disgust.
That action made him chuckle. He bit his bottom lip to keep him from bursting into laughter.
“Crazy idiot!” With that, she once again ran off into the rain.
“Junghwa-ah, wait for me!” And Kyuhyun began to follow her into the rain as well.

Character Profiles
Park Junghwa– 23 years old. Daughter of the CEO (Chief Executive Officer), Park Minho, of Park Inc. which is one of Korea’s major trading companies.
Cho Kyuhyun– 23 years old. He’s doesn’t have a family nor is he rich. He’s Junghwa’s personal ‘stalker’. He is deeply in love with Junghwa and he’ll do whatever it takes to win her heart.
Choi Siwon– 25 years old. Son of the CEO, Choi Seolong, of Choi Corps., which is Korea’s largest trading company. He’s the COO of the company. He is also Junghwa’s arranged fiancé.
Park Jungsoo – 27 years old. He’s Junghwa’s older brother. He’s COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Park Inc. You can say that Jungsoo is ‘Mr. Cupid’.
Lee Donghae – 24 years old. A friend of Jungsoo. He's a secertary for an attorney. Worked at Paradise bar where Kyuhyun sometimes performed. He has a slight interest in Hwang Aerin.
Hwang Aerin – 23 years old. Junghwa’s best friend. Aerin is the daughter of the CEO of the infamous Seo Dae Motors. She has a crush on Donghae.
Kim Ryeowook – 24 years old. He’s one of Kyuhyun’s best friends. He secretly harbors feelings for Kyuhyun.
Kim Jongwoon – 26 years old. He’s also one of Kyuhyun’s best friends and Ryeowook’s older brother.
