Beep! Beep! “ugh! Just five more minutes!” You groaned. It was already 6:50AM and you still didn’t want to get up. The alarm clock was still ringing. You slowly opened your eyes and freaked out. “Holy! Oh my..I’m gonna be late for my first day!!!! Ugh! Why didn’t anyone wake me?!” You screamed to yourself. So, you turned off the alarm and rushed to the washroom. “Gotta hurry! Gotta hurry!” You mumbled. You finally got changed and RAN out the door, when suddenly… “Ow! Who just slammed the door on me?” Said a familiar voice. “Ah! Johabsamnida! Jeongmal johabsamnida!” You bowed multiple times. “Ugh! Look what at what you did----_____, is that you?” “Ne? Who..?” You got up from your bow and saw that the person you injured was your brother, L.Joe. “Oppa! Aigoo! Biyaan! I’m such a klutz! I woke up late and will be late for my first day! Eh? Why are you going now? Aren’t you suppose to be there a long time ago?” You asked.

He just laughed at you. “What?” “Aigoo! Still the same _______. Ani, gwenchana. Oh? Why am I still here? Same as you! Woke up late to see that the others have left without me so now I’m going to meet them by myself. Since you’re here, want to go with me? This will be our chance to bond with my long lost sister.” He suggested. “Oh…well, ok then. I’d like to get closer to my brother too.” You smiled. As you two siblings walked side by side together, L.Joe told you how he ‘s been coping well alongside the boys and living well by himself. He told you about his schedules and even told you to ask Andy if you can come support him during his music show performances. You told him how you’ll be nervous for your first training day and afraid that you might make too many mistakes and get yelled at.

“Don’t worry ____. It’ll take a few months to get use to the training process, but I’ know my little sister is capable of doing anything and will get through it.” L.Joe said, squeezing your shoulder as a sign for supporting and encouraging you. “Thanks, L.Joe oppa.” You said, slowing slipping your hand into his. L.Joe noticed your hand slipping into his and he held onto it tightly and smiled. “ I think this is a great start to getting closer to you, oppa!” You told him, leaning on his arm. “Me too, little sister. Me too.”

So, as you two entered the building hand in hand, you laughed about the times L.Joe played pranks on you when you were kids. Finally, you reached Teen Top’s dance studio. “Ann—ooohh! L.Joe!! You’re fast! You already got _____ to be your girlfriend?” Roclyt said, shocked. You immediately let go of L.Joe’s hand,embarrassed. “Yah! She..she’s not my girlfriend! can’t friends just be friendly and hold hands to work? I woke up late and you guys left me, so I bumped into ____ and walked with her to work.” L.Joe explained. “Ahh…L.Joe’s excuses. Araseo. We won’t ask anymore. Think what you want, but we still think you’re _____’s boyfriend.” Chunji said. “Aww! C’mon Chunji! You know my heart belongs to you!” L.Joe said, leaning in for a bromance kiss. “Eh! Don’t even think about cheating on her with me. I’m only with you when Angel fans are around.” Chunji stated.

During the funny conversation, you just couldn’t help but laugh. “Ahaha! Oppas are so funny! I---“  Just then, Andy came into the room. Boys! Aren’t you suppose to be practicing for your upcoming Inkigayo performance? Stop lolly-gagging! Ppali! And _____, please come with me. You’re late for your dance training.” Andy said, strictly. So you followed Andy out of Teen Top’s room. L.Joe signaled you to check your phone for his texts during the day. You mouthed “araseo” to him and exited.

Back at your dance studio, Andy introduced you to your choreographer: Song Joon-Kyu. “Right now, he’ll be your teacher from now on til you debut with your first single “Wanted Love.” Andy said. “Wanted Love” is a club-like song that will consist of your vocals and Joon-Kyu’s sharp choreography.” You were pumped to record your single. “Ne! Can’t wait! Ah, nice to mee you Joon-Kyu seonsaeng-nim.” You said, bowing. “I hope we can work well together _____.” Joon-Kyu said. “Araseo _____. That’s enough of introductions. You’ll come back later. Right now, we need to get to the recording booth to start recording your single. Kaja.” You nodded, said goodbye to Joon-Kyu and headed out.

“_____-ah, first we’ll work on the intro and first verse, ara?” You were nervous but you gave it a shot.  (Where have you gone for the last 20 years? I’ve missed so dearly. When will I see you again?) You sounded very emotional and passionate. Even you yourself was shocked that you sounded like a pro. “Cut! Great! Intro done in one shot! Nice job _____. Alright, next part is the first verse. And….cue!” Andy directed. You nodded and continued onto the first verse. (And now you suddenly appeared in front of my eyes. You know how happy I am to see oppa again? All I need is your….) You were thinking of one person while singing the song. L.Joe. Of course, you just claimed him as your brother again, but thinking of him made you get into the song more. “Cut! Good take. You’re doing really well for a rookie artist!” You couldn’t help but smile. You thanked Andy and promised him you wouldn’t disappoint him. So you finished your recording session then headed back to the dance studio.

“Ok ______-ah, I’ll leave you with Joon-Kyu-goon and I’ll come back to get you later.” “Ne! Algesseubnida.” You said. (I understand) Once you got to the studio, Joon-Kyu started to teach you the choreography for your single. “Alright _____, please sing your song acapella while you watch how your dance will look like.” Joon-Kyu told you. You then started singing and watched Joon-Kyu show his moves. When you got to the chorus, you paid extra close attention to the sharp body rolls and poses. “Ok! You paid close attention to the choreography, right? Now, you try.” He smiled at you. “Ne!”

“Right leg draws a circle and start strut walk 1,2,3…front body roll! Fan  yourself…and pose!” Joon-Kyu led you. “And again! Good! Now for the chorus: legs cross, spin 4,5,6…shuffle back! Fall back and swing your hands back and forth with snapping!” “Waah! Very fast choreography, seonsaeng-nim! It’s fun!” You laughed. “Glad you like it! Now, let’s try it with your singing.” –Starts singing while dancing on point- Good _____! I’m impressed! You were on point and every move was very powerful. I must say, for a rookie artist, you dance really well.” He complimented you. “Kamsamnida!” “Alright, let’s take a five minute break and then continue, ne?” “Ok!” You said.

You went to your phone and checked it. You got one missed call and one message. You checked the message first. It was from L.Joe. “____-ah! How’s practice? Tiring? I know there’s a lot to do  even though it’s just your first day. Hang in there, sis! Oh, I know no one knows our relationship with each other, but I give you permission to at least tell Andy hyung that you’re related to me. He does have the right to know. Araseo? And tell him when no other artists are lurking in the building! Yakso? Ok! Oppa has to go now! Talk to you later! _____ fighting! Asa!”

You smiled at the text. You quickly sent a reply back to him and said ok. You also added “Oppa fighting too!” You promised to tell Andy about it after practice before you head back to your dorm. “Araseo _____! Break’s over. Shall we continue? Kaja!” Joon-Kyu called you. You then went back to practice.

“Alright! That’s enough for today. Please practice back at home and show me tomorrow, araeyo?” “Ne seonsaeng-nim! Bye!” You said and bowed. You checked your phone for the time. “Ah. I still got time before Andy oppa comes. I’ll go to an empty dance studio and practice.” You said. You soon found an empty room and went over the steps Joon-Kyu taught you today. Ok! So, music starts, first move is right leg circle and power strut 1,2,3! Body roll 4,5,6 and fan self….yes! Ok, next step!” You said to yourself. Once you got all the moves down, you sang the song to match the moves with it. (Where have you gone for the last 20 years? I’ve missed you so dearly. When will I see you again? And now you suddenly appear in front of my eyes.You know how happy I am to see oppa again? Now all I need is your wanted love! Wanted love! Wanted love!)

While you were practicing, Teen Top passed by and heard you. “Hyung, the beautiful singing is coming from this room.” Changjo said. “Ah…oh? ____! Wow! She sure is flawless when she dances!” Chunji commented. “It’s _______ noona? Let me see!” Niel nudged him. The boys were just star-strucked with your singing and sharp dance moves. It wasn’t until, once again, Niel lost balance and made Changjo push the door open. You screamed. “Yah! Again? Arg! I’m seriously gonna---“ Your face lit up at the sight of the boys. “Why, we meet again, oppas!” “Noona! Waah! Your voice is daebak I didn’t know you had such a voice!” Ricky said, and hugged you. “Oof! Aigoo, kamsamnida Ricky-ah. But it was just what I learned today. It’s not all of it.” “Eh…you already have natural born talent. We love it! Right, guys?” L.Joe said. Again, you blushed whenever he spoke to you, even if he is related to you. The boys nodded and agreed with L.Joe. Soon, Andy found you. “Ah, _____. I see you are enjoying yourself. How was today?” “It’s good! Joon-Kyu seonsaeng-nim taught me some very y choreography for “Wanted Love.” “Oh? Mind showing me…and Teen Top of course, the moves you got so far? Sing along while you dance.” Andy suggested. So you showed them what you’ve learned so far. Nevertheless, they were mesmerized. “Wow! Amazing! And this is your first day and you are already doing a spledid job! I’m impressed!” Andy commented. You bowed deeply. “Kamsamnida!”

“Ok, time to go home. Let’s go.” Before you moved, L.Joe eyed you and told you to tell him now. “Ah, hyung! ____ has something to tell you before she leaves with you.” L.Joe said. You stared at him with big eyes, but you told him to stay behind with you, but telling him to tell the other boys to go home first. “Oh. Alright. Teen Top, go home first.” The boys left except for L.Joe. “Eh? Hyung, you’re not coming with us?” Niel asked. “Ani. I need to talk to Andy hyung too.” Along with _______?” Niel winked. “Y-yah! Ka! I’ll meet you back home.” L.Joe shouted. So, what is it that you have to tell me? And why’s L.Joe staying behind?

You were nervous but you went for it. “There’s something you need to know about  L.Joe and I. Before I got accepted into T.O.P Media, I always listened to Teen Top songs, right? And I always showed my brother my dance moves and he said “you have natural born talent. You should be an artist someday.” One day, when I came home from school, I called for my brother, but he wasn’t home…until I found a sticky note on the kitchen table saying that he left me to go to the other side of the world to work. At that time, when he just suddenly left me all alone, I felt really depressed and wonder why my brother abandoned me all by myself to go to work. It was then, after a few years, I found a poster at Hongdae while I was hanging out with my best friend, so I thought I’d try it out. Then once I got accepted, I kept thinking to myself that someday me and my brother will cross paths and see each other again. When I first met Teen Top, I was really excited and shy at the same time because they are my most favourite idols in the Korean music industry. My bias was L.Joe too. But when L.Joe…..” You looked at him. “…when L.Joe told me he was my long lost brother, I really didn’t believe him. How could my brother be the world famous L.Joe of Teen Top? But then he told me all the things we use to do when we were kids, and in that moment..I started to believe that he is my brother. After 20 years, I’ve finally reunited with him.”

Andy was just shocked to the max. “L.Joe, why didn’t you tell me you ever had a sister?” He asked. “I’ve kept it to myself all these years because I don’t want rumours to go around and let this spread. Now that you know, please keep it a secret hyung. I don’t want this to spread. Only you know. Not even the rest of Teen Top knows.” L.Joe said. “Well, obviously yes, I’d keep it a secret. No wonder she has so much talent. I even thought it was too good to be true. She has the voice, the look, and the moves! I’m proud of your sister. But I must warn you, just because she’s your sister, I’m not gonna give her special treatment.” “That’s ok! I don’t mind. That’s exactly what I want. No special treatment. I want to be treated like a regular trainee.” You told him. “Ok. Good. Now you two siblings should go home now. _____, go with your brother since he stayed behind, he can take you home. I have to stay here. See you tomorrow.” Andy said. “Ne!” And so, you walked home with L.Joe.

As you were walking home with L.Joe, you guys talked about how the news went well when you told Andy. You felt like someone’s following you, so you turned around to see who it is. “What’s wrong ____?” L.Joe asked. “Huh? Oh, ani. Just thought something was there. Let’s keep walking, oppa.” You said nervously.

 The mysterious girl came out from behind the wall. “Hmph! I see..this Lee _____ rookie is L.Joe’s sister? I don’t see any resemblance whatsoever! But I’ll admit, that’s why she has so much talent. For a rookie, she’s pretty good. She doesn’t want anyone knowing that she’s L.Joe’s sister? She doesn’t want rumours to spread? Well, too bad Lee ______. I’ll make sure you don’t debut and expose your secret soon enough…” The mysterious girl said.
