DARA'S POV

 

 

“I’m home.” She yelled as soon as she entered their house.

 

She still grasping for air as she was almost running just to get home in time.

 

 

“Noona, someone’s waiting for you.” Thunder, his brother said.

 

 

“Wae?” Dara wrinkled her forehead.

 

“Who?” she asked.

 

 

“Hi Dara.” He said as he was flashing his smile to her.

 

 

“Jiyong?!" she yelled.

 

 

"Hey, you don't have to shout. Please don't shout at me." begging at her and showing his cuteness.

 

 

"So, let me get this straight. What are you doing here?" Dara in a serious tone.

 

 

"Erhmm ,, ahmm,," Jiyong was no stuttering.. as if he's lost his words.

 

 

"Speak now!" Dara becaming angry.

 

 

"Dara, could you be my date for tonight?"

 

 

 

“Date what??” Dara couldn’t help but to shout at what she  heard.

 

“Noona?! Is there something wrong?” Thunder shouted who was  currently in the kitchen.. seems like he heard her noona shouted and got worried.

 

“Nothing bro, I can handle this.” Dara shouted back.

 

“Dara...” Jiyong almost whispered.

 

“Sit down.” Dara glared at him ordering him to sit down on the couch.

 

Calmly, Dara also seated infront of Jiyong.

 

“What do you want again?”

 

“Could you be my date for tonight?” Jiyong regaining his strength and talked to Dara once more.

 

Crap! He couldn’t concentrate as he watch Dara staring at her intensely.  She’s really an angel. My angel. A goddess!

 

 

“What?? Date?” Dara was dumbfounded.

 

What the hell?? Ofcourse, It’s a YES!! Damn! I’m so lucky!!

 

“Yes, my friend who just came from overseas is throwing a party this evening and I’m looking for a date.” Jiyong explained.

 

Jiyong just be calm .he told himself .ooh..how can I? my heart is beating so fast right now. T_T

 

“Okay, so it’s a date..? Ani.. ani.. I mean..” she paused.

 

"like a chaperon?” Dara questioned. Trying to sound not disappointed.

 

Huh?? So it’s not a romantic date??! T____T Do I look like a chaperon to you Jiyong?!

 

 

“Huh? Errr.. I guess so?..” Jiyong wasn’t sure what to say.. he’d like it to be romantic of course! That’s why he’s asking her to be his date. He wanted to be close to her!

This girl is so dense!

Can’t she think that of all the girls, it is her that I chose to be with and to date with?!

 

“Oh.. I’m sorry Jiyong.. I really wanted to go with you but I’m not free this evening.” she blurted out of the blue...this is because of what Jiyong said to her..

 

Ha! Date yourself?! What do you think of me?? Your maid? And you are the stupid rich spoiled brat?

 

“Why? What will you do this evening?” Jiyong was shocked and disappointed at the same time.

 

 

“I’m..I’m..*think Dara think* going to meet with my new friend.....”

 

 

“yeah,, my new friend..” she continued.

Then she smiled sweetly.

 

Haha! Screw you Jiyong! On the other hand, if any of your fangirls will spot us together., they’ll going to kill me. You just don’t know what I’ve been through after that gym incident. Grrr!

 

“Oh.. really..” Jiyong’s voice became broken.. a sign of steer sadness and disappointment.

 

 

“hmm.. yah.. I’m sorry Ji.” Dara couldn’t help but to feel guilty also and sorry for Jiyong. She really wishes to go with him.

 

 

After that..Ji left.

She also felt sad and disappointed.

 

 

 

In the middle of her thoughts.. she was surprised when her phone rings..

 

“Omo!!”

 

Aissh.. unknown number.. who could it be.

“Annheyong! Who is this?”

 

“Hi, is this Dara?”

 

“yah, who is this?”

 

“It’s me Jaejoong.”

 

“Oh, hi..”

 

“Uhm.. Dara.. i know we just met and it’s so rude for me to ask this from you...but..”

 

“but what?”

 

“You see.. I’m having a party this evening.. and I’m new to this place.. I just came from abroad.. and I only have few friends here..so..”

 

“so?”

 

“so.. i really really really..really as in really..want to know you more better and be good friends with you..”

 

“so you’re inviting me to be in your party? Is that it?”

 

“Huh?? Yah.. yah.. he.he.. I’m inviting you to my party.”

 

 

Coincidence?

 

 

“Ah.. sure! It’s my pleasure.” Dara replied back.. since he told Jiyong that she’s meeting her new friend.. why not.. it’s so coincidence.

 

 “Really?? Omo! Give me your address.. I’ll fetch you up.”

 

“Oh, okay. Thank you.”

 

Dara gave Jaejoong her address and bidded goodbye after that..

 

Phew..what really a coincidence..

She was about to go upstairs..when she remembered something..

 

 

Omo!! I don’t have a dress to wear!! T_____T

Jaejoong’s POV

 

He was smiling from ears to ears after he have arrived at his house.

And grinning like a fanboy.

 

“What’s wrong with him?” he heard someone speak.

 

Then finally back to reality.

 

“Top?!”  he was surprised when he saw Top and Donghae in his living room.

 

“Woah?! Yeah it’s me.. Welcome back hyung!” he approached his hyung and gave him a highfive.

 

“Yeah..thanks man.”

“What happened to you hyung and where have you been?”Donghae asked while opening a can of beer.

 

Sighs.. “It’s my very lucky ,...very very lucky day.” Jaejoong just smiled at them.. remembering Dara’s face.

 

“Huh?” the other two asked in unison.. clearly confused at their hyung.

 

“I just met an angel.”

 

“What?!”

 

Jaejoong grinning while going upstairs and leaving the two behind confused.

 

 

He went directly to his room and saved her number on his phone..

 

He took a deep breath and prayed first to all the gods and goddess before making a call to a very special person he just met.

“Dara, who’s is this new friend of yours??” Bom couldn’t help ask Dara nonstop as soon as she with the CL and Minzy arrived at Dara’s house.

“I’ll introduce him to you later..he said he will fetch me up.” Dara explained to them.

 

“Oh, better be or else I’ll chop his head for you!” Bom shouted.

 

 

“Uhm..girls.. thank you for coming here to help me..

Oh god! What did I just do?! What am I thinking? I don’t even have a dress to wear for the party.” Dara cried out.

 

“Ofcourse unni! And don’t worry, we’ll take care of that so you don’t have to worry. Just be sure that your new friend is a handsome one!” Chaerin can’t hide her excitement.

Dara was now feeling reluctant to go to the party. She didn’t know why she even said yes to this. But she had to admit, it was mainly because of her the alibi that he said to Jiyong.. poor Jiyong.. T__T

 

“Cheer up, will you. You’re going to a party, not a burial ceremony.”Bom slapped her arm.

“You know I hate parties.” 

“Yah I know that.. That’s why I was surprised that you agreed to him. But what you did was completely right, you have to mingle with other people too. And it’s your new found friend who asked favour from you.”

 

Shoot!! Don’t remind me what I just did to Jiyong..I’m so cruel! Ottoke!

 

 

“Okay, fine, you have a point. It’s just that I’m not up for a party where there are lots of people.”

 

 

“In case you have forgotten, that’s the reason why it’s called a party, because of the people! Get dress now, your new found friend might arrive any moment. Don’t keep him waiting.”

 

 

“Fine. I’ll go dress now.” She stood in front of her closet and scanned the party dresses she had in there.

 

“Where are you going? You’re not wearing those.” Bom ordered.

 

“Huh?!”

 

“We brought dresses for you unni.” Minzy laid down all the dresses in her bed.

 

 

“What?? But they’re so y!” Dara was shocked.

 

 

There are five dresses to be chosen from.

 

 

There’s the plain pink mini dress, the red tube dress, the black mini gown one,  a spring bubble dress and  a lacy white dress.

 

 

“Ah, ani.. I had no plan of wearing them..They’re too y and elegant.” Dara refused.

 

 

“What no? Yes! You’ll be wearing one of them! If you don’t want to ..I’m going to choose what will be your wearing.” Bom demanded like a strict stylist of Dara.

 

“Unni, I brought you also some heels and stilettos..” Chaerin followed.

 

“While me, I’ll be the one to style your hair and be the one to put you make up.” Minzy smiling at her.

‘Let’s get started!” Bom snapped both of her hands.

 

“Oh no.. T__T” that’s all dara could ever say.

The door bell rang and Bom stopped halfway to take a bite of her corn. She looked at Dara. “I guess it’s him already?”

 

 

“I think so. I’ll get it.”Chaerin answered back.

 

 

Chaerin opened the door and there was Dara’s new friend , standing. “Good evening.”

 

“Good Evening. Are you here to fetch Dara unni?” Chaerin asked, still standing at the doorway. She giggled a little, controlling her giddiness.

 

 

“Ah yes. I’m Kim Jaejoong.” He smiled sweetly.

 

“Oh, so you’re Kim Jaejoong. Please come in. Dara’s still upstairs. I’m Chaerin by the way.” Chaerin can't really help to hide her giddiness. She stepped out of the way to let him in.

 

 

“Okay, you take a sit and wait here. There’s the remote control if you want to watch something. We’ll just call unni.” Jaejoong sat on the couch.

 

 

Chaerin saw Bom peeking from the kitchen.

 

“Hey, is that’s Dara’s new friend?! OMG! He’s so freaking handsome!!!! Where did that Santokii met that god??” Bom wondered as Chaerin dragged her to the kitchen table away from the living room.

“Omo! Let’s call Dara now! she said, in a whisper. She ate her corn as fast as she could.

 

 

“Unni, he’s here already.” Chaerin shouted.

 

Minzy is the one who went downstairs first followed by Dara.

Like a slow motion scenes in the movie.. Dara was slowly walking downstairs in her white lacy dress with her hair cascading down her shoulders while Jaejoong is staring at her with all awe and admiration.

 

Jaejoong isn’t surely holding his breath but as well as he can’t breathe.

 

She’s so beautiful. She’s really like an angel. She’s an angel!

 

 

“Unni, you’re so beautiful!” Chaerin was in awe too.

 

“OHmygghad!! Santooki! You make me almost drool too!! Kekeke!” Bom hugged Dara.

 

 

Dara then noticed Jaejoong’s presence.

 

Jaejoong is looking more handsome in a suit.

 

“Hi Jae.” She waved at him.

 

“Hi.” He replied.

 

“Wait, aren’t you going to introduce me to him?” Bom said.

 

“Oh, yeah. This is Chaerin, Bom and Minzy. They’re my best friend.” Dara smiled back.

 

 

“Hi, oppa.” Minzy was giddy too.

 

 

Bom extended her hand and said, “It’s nice to meet you.”

 

 

“It’s nice meeting you all too. Don't worry, I'll take good care of Dara.” Jaejoong accepted Bom’s hand.

 

 

 

“Dara, he’s so gorgeous, Is he really your friend or your boyfriend?? If you don’t like him.. just give him to me!” Bom whispered at Dara.

 

 

 

“Huh? He's not my boyfriend.” Dara blushed as she heard Bom said.

 

 

She can’t really deny that Jaejoong is really handsome and a guy to fall for.

 

 

“Well, girls , we have to go. Bye!” Dara said dragging Jaejoong to the front door before the girls could say weird things that will make her embarrassed in front of Jaejoong.

 

 

The two bid goodbye to the three.

 

 

The two was on their way to the parking lot where Jaejoong’s car is located...but the two didn’t said a word to each other..

“Dara, thank you for accepting my invitation.” Jaejoong broke first the silence.

“It’s my pleasure.” Dara smiled at him.

 

“By the way, you’re so beautiful. You look like an angel to me.” Jaejoong finally said his attraction to her.

 

Dara was shocked by his compliment. And blushed at it.

“Thanks.” Dara lost for words.

 

Jaejoong assisted Dara to his car and opened up the door for her. Then drove off to Jaejoong’s house.
