Special chapter ~
Hyewon entered the church with small, trudging steps. She didn’t even know why she came. She was invited, sure. But she’s surely not welcome. Given the fact that she was a not-so-long ex of the groom.
She sat at the farthest seat possible and sat like she is a statue—a very ungraceful statue. Her head hung low and her knees were pressed together. Her sweating hands grabbed the skirt of her long flowing blue dress. She might not know but actually, she’s more beautiful than the bride that was dressed in a gown shaped like a pastry.
She looked around and recognized few faces. Jaejoong’s best friends were there—Yoochun, Junsu, Changmin and Yunho. Hyewon is obviously a friend of theirs but she is too shy to approach. They wouldn’t come if they are against the wedding.
Aside from Jaejoong’s friends and family, she didn’t know any other faces. The rest was Jessica’s snotty family who were all dressed in pastel gowns.
A presence sat beside her and she looked up to see a smiling baby face along with 4 other men that she was observing a while ago.
“Sulli.” Hyewon greeted with a smile—although her eyes showed nothing but complete sadness. She also smiled at the four men who decided to seat with her. She regretted thinking they were on Jessica’s side.
“You came.” Sulli pointed out.
“Yes.” Hyewon replied with a sigh.
“Why? You might just hurt yourself.” Sulli said while placing a hand on her unnie’s shoulder.
“This might be the last time I will see him. “ Hyewon replied, her voice thick with sorrow.
“Hey, don’t worry. We could announce objection later on.” Junsu said.
Hyewon laughed at him but that idea was hard to reject in her mind. A part of her was thinking twice of fulfilling the supposed line.
“Well, if I were to be asked. You are a better bride compared to Jessica unnie. You and Jaejoong should be married instead!” Sulli exclaimed in anger.
“Shh!” Hyewon shushed her with a finger. Thankfully, the people were too busy to notice the little conversation.
“Sorry…” Sulli muttered sheepishly.
“Why don’t we just kidnap Jaejoong right now and send him and Noona away?” Changmin suggested.
“Changmin!” Hyewon slapped his arm playfully.
Meanwhile, Jaejoong was getting impatient with Jessica. He was forced to marry the girl because of his parents and family business. He didn’t have a choice. He loved Hyewon but as soon as she heard that he was getting married, she disappeared.
He didn’t even have the chance to explain and runaway with her.
They were somewhere back inside a room and Jessica’s yeling at her bridesmaid Krystal because she stepped accidentally on the veil.
Jaejoong rolled his eyes at the raging bride. He couldn’t bear if he would live with this person. He silently hoped that Hyewon received the invitation and letter he sent through Sulli.
At last, they were taken in separate cars. Jaejoong’s car came in the church first and he stepped out of it while fixing his white tuxedo.
