Insanity
Description
All your life you've had a friend named Elizabeth. No one can see her, not even you; yet you are the only one who can hear her. When you were 8, your parents got tired of what they called "your sickness'' and sent you to Gidae Institution; a place for people with mental instabilities. You are now almost 18. Your parents haven't contacted you in the institution for the past 6 years. Now, a new nurse comes. His name is Taemin. Something in you tells you to make friends with him. You get to know him, and even Elizabeth doesn't mind him. But when Taemin tells you he wants to help you get rid of Elizabeth, then Elizabeth starts fighting back.
Foreword
“Who is she?,” The new boy asked, peeking in the window of your door.
“She is the sweetest patient in here, honestly. We’ve been trying to help her… but she refuses to accept anything we try. She says that ‘Elizabeth’ refuses to let her ‘leave her alone in this white halled prison’,” The head of the Institution, Teacher Choi, as you called him, said sorrowfully.
“Who’s Elizabeth?’’
“If only we knew. She always talks and laughs with her, but there’s never anyone there,”
Teacher Choi and the new boy looked back at you through the window in the door to your room. You sat there playing with the ring of lost keys that you’ve accumulated over the years since you've been in this place.
“I agree Elizabeth,” you whispered to the voice in your ears, “I think he will make a good friend.”
