Candy's POV

'What the hell was that?? What is she doing here?? What is he doing with her??' Thousands of questions appeared on my mind while I was running away from Kris. My feet took me to the garden behind our school, it's my favorite place actually.

I sat on the bench near the small house there and continued crying. '! why am I crying?....It's not that we're in a relationship or something..... we're just friends.... but still.......I HATE YOU KRIS!!' I cursed.

Kris' POV

I ran after her. Searching all the places where she could be

.No results.

But then, something popped up in my stupid head. "THE GARDEN!!" I said the quickly went to the garden's direction. After few more minutes of running, I finally saw her. Sitting on the bench near the small house.

Crying her eyes out.

I gathered my courage and walked towards her. She looked at me and said coldly "...what are you doing here?". I kneeled in front of her and said "to explain".

"explain what?" she asked coldly. "about what you saw a while ago". She went silent. "You see, she wen-.." I was cut off when she sudddenly spoke. "You know what Kris, you don't need to explain anything. we're just friends afterall. And I barely know anything about you so, I don't care if you flirt or sleep around with that because I got nothing to do with you since we're JUST friends." And with that she left.

I felt a pang in my chest and was left dumbfounded for a moment. I tried to run after her but she was too fast 'You deserve this you stupid Kris, besides she has a point, you've been hiding your identity to her for weeks now, what do you expect' I thought and ruffled my hair in frustration.

Candy's POV

I ran and left him there.

I decided to go home and take a rest. On my way home, I bumped into Jia with my eyes still puffy and red. 'I forgot, she didn't have a class today' . "sorry" I avoided her eyes. "Ya Ying-ah! what are you doing out here? you're supposed to go to your class right?" she asked with a hint of worry on her voice. I didn't say anything and looked at a different direction. There, she saw my red and puffy eyes and said, "Come on, what happened ? tell me" while rubbing her right hand on my back trying to comfort me. I nodded, we went to a cafe near my suite.

"tell me, what happened" she demanded

I narrated the whole story to her and she looked disappointed and sad. "I'm sorry Jia.." I said
