Candy's POV

“Where’s Kris by the way?” my mom asked. “He said they have a special performance later tonight, so he’ll be home late” I said. “WHAT?! His wedding is tomorrow!! He should rest” I could feel Mom starting to panic.

“EASY MOM! CALM DOWN! It’s not like the wedding’s early morning”

“AISH! That guy! I’ll make sure he goes home early! I gotta go now Candy, I’ll see my beautiful daughter tomorrow Bye” she hung up

I sighed and went to our room.

Kris’ POV

We were on our way to our special performance when suddenly manager Hyung received a call, I could hear him say “Hello?” “Uhh.. yes” nods “got it” “Bye”. Manager hyung quickly told the driver to stop the van and turned to me “Kris, you’re not performing later”. I raised my eyebrow in confusion “What?! Why?”

“Just do as I said so Wu Fan, Now get out of the van and go home!”

“bu-“I was cut off when my phone vibrated ‘Oh it’s a text from Umma’ I read it and it says:

TO: KRISSSSSS
FR: PRETTY UMMA

YAH! WU FAN! GO HOME RIGHT NOW or else …..

I gulped after reading the message. Mom would never send me messages like this unless it’s really important, maybe that’s why manager hyung is shooing me away. Without having second thoughts, I quickly grabbed my bag and went out of the van to get a taxi. Luckily, my members are asleep. They won’t notice if I’m gone. I got inside the taxi and told the driver where to go. Few more minutes and I’m finally home.  I twisted the doorknob and it was locked ‘hmm? Locked... Did Candy go somewhere?’

I grabbed my key from my bag and inserted it in the keyhole. I went straight to our bedroom and found Candy sleeping soundly ‘Awe~~ how cute~~~’ I thought. I remembered I needed to text Mom that I got home, who knows what she’ll do.

TO: PRETTY UMMA
FR: KRIS

MOM~! I got home already.

A minute later I received a text from Mom

TO: KRISSSSSS
FR: PRETTY UMMA

GOOD! REST EARLY TONIGHT! Don’t forget! Your wedding tomorrow!

Upon reading that text, I slapped my forehead and muttered silently “Oh sht! I almost forgot!!!!!”

FR: KRIS
TO: PRETTY UMMA

Okay~ Okay~ I’ll see you tomorrow, goodnight

After that text I threw my phone on the couch, went to the bathroom and took a long, relaxing shower.
