Chapter2:

[MAKI’S POV]

Its gonna be 12am in the morning soon. Lucky for me, both of my parents will be attending some function and would be out early morning and reached home at wee hours. All of the servants are sleeping. Oh yea, this is my chance!

I went to my walk-in closet and picked out about 5 of my most comfortable and favourite outfit, my PJs and my school uniform and placed them in my backpack. Most of my books are in the school lockers so thank goodness I only had to bring my notebooks along with me. I took all necessary items with me. I changed into a electric blue sweatshirt which was relatively long, just 5 inches above my knees. I wore a pair of black leggings and sneakers.

Once I’m done, I looked out of the window and I kinda wanted to chicken out but somehow I convinced myself not to. I can do this! I’m only on the second floor, I guess I won’t die if I jump from my room’s window right?

I breathe in deep and then I jumped!

To my surprise, I landed on both feet, unharmed!

But it was not over yet, I still had to climb over this oh-so-freaking-high wall before I will see the light to freedom.

My wall was quite hard to climb that I almost felt like giving up and accepting reality that I can’t escape this arranged marriage. However, it was that strong feeling of not wanting to marry someone I don’t love that kept me going.

Soon, I was on top of the wall. I jumped down from the wall and YES!!! I’M FREE!

I wanted to scream, cheer out loud, tell the whole world what a genius I am but I was pretty much conscious about the fact that I might wake my parents up and so, I didn’t.

Everything was going according to plan.

As I was walking on the streets, still feeling quite proud about myself, I took out my cellphone and dialed YunHo oppa’s number.

“Maki?! –yawns- Why are calling your oppa in the middle in the night? Shouldn’t you be sleeping? –yamns-“ I could tell that I just woke YunHo oppa up from his sleep but his voice was still, as gently as always.

“Ne oppa, can I come over to your place? I’ll explain everything to you later, I promise!”

“Do I have an option? Well, since the other members are all asleep, I guess you can come over for awhile. You know where it is right? SM building, 10^thfloor, unit number 12.”

“Ok oppa, I’ll be there as soon as possible.”

(in the SM building)

Oh god. This place is really really mega huge!

Oppa didn’t told me he lived in a building as pretty as this?! I can’t believe it! How can oppa hide something like this from me?!

I pressed the button in the lift and exited the lift once it reached 10^thfloor.  I dialed YunHo oppa’s number once again to inform him that I’m here already.

Within seconds, the door opened and I was greeted by oppa’s worried yet sleepy face. He looked around and then dragged me inside and closed the door.

“Maki, remember to keep your volume down. I don’t want you to wake up the members and them to find out about you, arasso? Anyway, mind telling me your reason for coming here now?”

I told oppa everything, like seriously everything. From mum and dad’s facial expression, and every single word in our conversation and I guess I kinda exaggerated a little but an arranged marriage is already that bad so NO I’M JUST STATING FACTS.

“So you don’t want to marry that guy and thus, you came to your oppa for help, hoping that he will let you stay here and hide away from mum and dad?”

I nod my head and gave him the most innocent look and those big puppy eyes. “Please oppa … I don’t have a place to stay and mum and dad would scold me if I went back home and knew that I attempted to run away from home. Please oppa…”

As usual, that tactic worked on my oppa. “Aww~ Maki, how can I ever say no to my cute little sister? –pats head- Well, listen. You can sleep at that room at that corner. –points to a room- That room used to be Changmin’s but he’s moved to Junsu’s room because he’s too scared to sleep alone since 2 months ago so I guess its okay for you to sleep there for the time being. And remember to lock the door before you sleep, the members must not find out about this. Ok, I’m really tired now. Good night Maki.” Oppa kissed my forehead as he walked back to his room.

-yawn-

I guess I’m tired too. I should really get some sleep too.

I walked back to my temporary room and laid on the bed, slowly drifting to sleep…

[END OF MAKI’S POV]

[JAEJOONG’S POV]

I just woke up from this really scary nightmare, that dinosaurs were chasing after me!

I was so scared I just wanted to sleep at any member’s room. (preferably YunHo’s hehe) I didn’t bother to switch on the lights and just went to into any random room that I could find.

I walked into the room and lie down next to the person on the bed I’m sleeping.

(in the morning)

[MAKI’S POV]

I had a comfortable sleep last night, and from now on, I can sleep for as long as I want! Back at my house, the maids would wake me up at 8am everyday without fail, which sometimes, do pisses me off. I wanted to get up from the bed but there was this weight that prevented me from doing so.

And when I finally realized, what that “weight” was, I screamed like, “AAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!”

Oh . Wrong move for I have just woke up everybody in the DBSK dorm.

What am I to do now?!
