-Min Joo’s POV-

*Sigh*, where’s soo jin by the way. She’s 30 minutes late. Wow a new record.

I was solving the math problems given by Ms. Se Kyung. Add that here no no no multiply this first  then, Ms. Se kyung shouted “Miss Kim, You’re late!!!“ I prayed to God that it was another Kim, not Kim Soo jin.

But then, I looked up and saw my best friend. Oh boy.

“I’m sorry Teacher.  Here’s an excuse slip from the nurse, I bumped into a pole while running”

Everybody laughed. So help me God

“Well it’s a good thing you have an excuse slip from the nurse, because if you didn’t, I’ll let you stay outside and you’ll have to wait for the next class.”

“I promise it will never happen again”

“Promises, promises. I believe your sit is in front of Miss Hwang Min Joo? “

Well yes and it’s the only seat left for crying out loud.

Soo Jin swiftly sat on her chair and waved at me. I waved back.

“I can’t believe you’re late on the first day of school” i whispered

“Well I bumped into a pole, and then I bumped into someone too. How can I not be late?”

“Well if you actually woke up earlier—“

 We both tried our bests to keep ourselves silent so none of us will be scolded by the teacher.

“Wait, before you scold me, that nerd’s looking at us. No no wait, He’s looking at you.  Maybe For five minutes now , i think.”

I looked carefully at this nerd Soo jin was talking about. He was about to look out the window when our eyes met, but his glasses fell on the floor. Bad luck eh?

I bent down and I tried to pick up his glasses but at that time, he tried to pick it up too. So our heads bumped and our eyes met again.

He has cute big eyes. And he looks cute when he’s awkward , I wonder.

“You two look like you’re in a drama” Soo jin said, then laughed.

 “Ahh.. Ehh.. Err.. Um…Are you alright? I didn’t mean to.. I’m very sorry. Mianhae mianhae mianhae”

“SHHH! Miss Se kyung’s gonna scold us if you don’t keep your mouth shut. Besides, It’s okay (I saw his name tag and it says 박찬열)  Park Chanyeol”

 “Uhhh, Okay okay, yeppeo—UM I mean, Hw.. Hwang Min Joo”

His face became red

Soo Jin laughed more

 “Yeah, yeah sure” I told him.
 

-Chanyeol’s POV-

My brain’s not responding.

“Mister Park, Are you alright?" she said without my notice , then repeated "Mister Park, You’re as red as a tomato!!”

“YES YEPPEO!!!”

“WHAT?!”

“I mean Miss Se Kyung... Mian"

Great.  Now everyone’s laughing at me.Am I even alive?

The heck,chanyeol? Why did you call Min Joo, yeppeo? Well yeah she’s pretty but why did you literally say that? Now she’ll never speak to you again.

“Pabo Pabo! Aish” I murmured to myself

Her friend (Soo jin I believe) was laughing at us, endlessly. Karma’s really a bish. I was laughing at her a while ago, and now she’s laughing at me .

Help me.

But min joo, oh yes min joo. She has nice eyes. VERY. Nice eyes. And it gave me butterflies.

Wait huh what who said that? Eeeesh , ofcourse someone pretty as her will never be attracted to someone stupid - looking

like me (no one ever did) , not even a chance sheesh  , i thought to myself and slightly hit my head twice with my lengthy fist
