Today is the day when Han Eul turns two years old. I wistfully look at her, thinking about her father and how happy he would've been if he was here with us. Woo Bin and his gang had been looking all over for him in Tokyo, and other cities but they couldn't find him. They stopped looking a year ago, and I stopped believing he was still alive. We decided to have a small party for Han Eul, inviting the F3, their wives and children.

“My birfday?” Han Eul's eyes twinkled. She clapped happily as she saw Woo Bin and Jae Kyung approach her with a large balloon, cake, and a fluffy teddy bear.

“Happy Birthday, Kiddo.” Woo Bin ruffled her hair. Han Eul giggled. That was when Jun Pyo, Jan Di and their four-year old son Joon arrived.

“I got the best present for her!” Jun Pyo retorted. Woo Bin rolled his eyes.

“Jun Pyo, Ga Eul said to get ordinary presents. You don't want to spoil the kid.” Woo Bin shook his head.

“Don't worry, Woo Bin it's not that big anyways.” Jun Pyo smiled proudly. His wife clucked her tongue.

“I'm sorry, Ga Eul.” Jan Di put her head down in shame. I gave her a confused look.

“I got her...” Jun Pyo snapped his hands. A huge truck came in, carrying a small pink house. “A life-sized doll house!” Ga Eul gasped while Han Eul clapped her hands.

“With...” Jun Pyo snickered “dolls handmade in Italy. It has matching clothes and everything. I hope Han Eul would like it.”

“This is so much...” I was shocked. “Thank you.” Han Eul nodded and clapped her hands in excitement.

Lastly, Ji Hoo came rushing in.

“Sorry I was late. There was an emergency at the hospital.” Ji Hoo picked up Han Eul into his arms.

“Here, for you.” He gave a present to Han Eul. Eagerly, she quickly opened it, ripping the nicely wrapped present.

“Oh!” Han Eul clapped her small hands again. It was a small pottery set, made for kids specifically for her age. Tears started to swell up in my eyes.

“Thank you Uncle Ji Hoo!” Han Eul hugged him tight. Ji Hoo looked at me and smiled. I smiled back and wiped the last tear on my cheek away.

I will no longer cry for him.

It was already two years since the accident. Life was hard, but I was happy. With Bom, we worked hard to get where we were today. From part time jobs to sleepless nights we saved enough money to get our own apartment. Sometimes I would dream about going back to Korea and see what kind of life I set aside. Would that make me change my mind? I finally remembered the names of the three childhood friends: Jun Pyo, Woo Bin, and Ji Hoo. Should I look for them? I finally went to Bom and tried to talk about it with her.

"Go back to Korea?" Bom asked, with a surprised look.

"We have to go back, someday right?" I asked her. She didn't say a word for a long time.

"Alright. But someday. When I get my memory back." Bom looked at me and smiled. I nodded.

"I don't want to go back to Korea not knowing a clue where I am from." Bom sadly said "Besides, we are doing this together right?"

"Of course!" I exclaimed. "I never forgot that."

"Don't ever forget about our promise." Bom put her head on my shoulders.

"I won't." But I was hesitant. The promise of always being together. Will I be able to do that?
