Yunho felt really sad about how Ara treated him, but he knew he couldn’t blame her. He just  felt so hurt deep inside. He lost a little hope on her.  He felt sad, but he tried to smile whenever Junsu told a joke to lighten up the mood.

Yunho felt hurt just by looking at Ara. No matter how Junsu tried to make him smile, he just couldn’t help but feel worried about how their relationship will turn out to be.

After what Ara said, Yunho didn’t seem to have the mood or appetite to eat dinner. He just sat there and stared at his food, twirling his fork with his hands, playing with his utensils, not even touching his food.

“Hyung, you haven’t eaten even one bite…” Junsu said worriedly as he gave his hyung a concerned expression.

“I… I don’t think I’m in the mood. Mianhe, Junsu-ah…” Yunho sighed, apologizing to his younger peer. Junsu couldn’t help but pout sadly. He felt so sorry for his hyung.  He knew that Yunho wouldn’t be acting like that not unless he’s upset. He wanted to cheer Yunho up but he just didn’t know what to do.

On the other hand, Ara glanced at Yunho and felt slightly guilty when she saw his sad expression. Hurt was clearly shown in his eyes. Ara didn’t know what to do. She hated the fact that Yunho was really arrogant around her. She hated him for stealing her first kiss, but she didn’t like the fact that she ignored his sincere apology. She felt like what she did was harsh, but she was afraid to trust him.

Ara said nothing and just stared at him.

“I don’t feel so good…” Yunho said. The sadness that he feels was so powerful that it affected his appetite. He felt so sick that he didn’t want to finish his dinner anymore. “I have to go. I’m sorry I ruined our dinner…”

Yunho bowed politely, folded his table napkin and placed it on the table before he left.

Ara just sat down and watched him with sad eyes until he disappeared.

‘Aigoo… perhaps I was too harsh’ Ara thought sadly.

“Noona, will you ever forgive Yunho-hyung?” Junsu asked, making Ara snap out of her reverie. Ara looked at him and rolled her eyes.

“Should I?” She asked as she raised an eyebrow. Junsu sighed  and placed a hand on his noona’s shoulder.

“Noona, I know he was wrong, but to tell you the truth, I can’t blame him too. You shouldn’t judge him right away…” Junsu said and Ara looked at him with a puzzled expression on her cute face.

“Waeyo? He’s a playboy isn’t he? I don’t want to trust him…” Ara said.

“I think I should tell you something about him. I’m not in the position to tell you this, noona, but since I want you to understand him, I’ll tell you why he turned out that way…”
 

~*~ Flash Back~*~
He was truly excited to see her on that day. It was their anniversary, and Yunho planned to surprise his girl friend. He prepared a lot of things for the event. He made sure that everything will be memorable for his beloved, Eunhae-noona. He loved her with all his heart and he’d do anything for her.

When everything was ready, Yunho decided to give Eunhae a phone call. He told her to come over at a restaurant that he rented for the two of them.

It took Eunhae about a few minutes to come over. Yunho’s heart was racing when he saw Eunhae. He smiled at her as he approached her. He gave her flowers and hugged her tight.

“Happy Anniversary, Noona…” Yunho said and leaned forward to give her a kiss on the lips in which she didn’t return…

“Yunho-ah, aish… let go…” Eunhae said as she gently pushed Yunho away.

“Is something wrong noona?” Yunho asked as he pulled away from her.

“I’m just tired.” Eunhae lied. The truth was that Eunhae doesn’t love Yunho anymore and Yunho was too blinded by love to see how two-faced she is.  Yunho loved her too much to think badly about Eunhae, but Eunhae was not the girl he expected her to be. Eunhae was a user, a liar… She didn’t love him…

“Then let’s sit down and eat…” Yunho suggested with his hearty smile.

As they ate their scrumptious dinner, Yunho had fun telling her lots of things. He was always talkative around her and he just loved talking to her, even if she just nodded from time to time and laughed in a fake manner at his words.

When they finished dinner, Yunho decided to start with the main surprise for the day…

He took a velvet box from his pocket and approached her. He held her hands in his and faced her with a sincere look on his face.

“I love you with all my heart, Noona… We’ve been dating for years now and I thought that it’s the right time to ask you this…  Eunhae-noona, will you marry me?” He asked as he knelt down and presented her a beautiful expensive ring.

Eunhae’s eyes widened in shock at Yunho’s question. Her heart was racing not because of his act, but because she didn’t know what to answer. She didn’t want to marry him. She doesn’t love him anymore. She was seeing another man, but she kept her relationship with Yunho because he was rich and famous.

“I’m sorry Yunho…. But we have to break up…” She said as she looked at him with a cold expression on her face.

Yunho couldn’t believe what he just heard. He was so shocked that he dropped the ring on the floor. He felt his heart breaking piece by piece at Eunhae’s words.

“Noona… Did I do something wrong? How can you break up with me? We love each other… “ Yunho asked as tears fell from his hands while he held Eunhae’s hands, begging her to stay. He knew he looked pathetic and he threw his pride away and begged her to remain his. “Please stay… I’ll do anything!”

“I’m sorry Yunho… I just… I just don’t love you anymore… It’s not you… I just found someone else… I’m sorry…” She said as she let go off his hand and walked away from him forever…

She was gone and he was heartbroken…

He loved her and gave her his all… but she hurt him and broke his heart…

She took him for granted…

From that day onwards…. Yunho swore he’d never love again…

-End of  Flashback-

Ara could only sigh at Junsu’s story…
She felt bad about what happened to Yunho, but she thought she was still hesitant and unsure to trust him…
