Your POV

The next morning, i woke up happy until i saw kwangmin's picture sticked in my study table's mirror i felt sadness in me again. "kwangmin... kwangmin.... he.... we... we are over.." i said whispering to myself. Just then, my mom came into my room "oh! Jihye-ah you're awake? you better get ready for school, you dont wanna be late do you?" my mom said

"umma, i don't feel like going to school today" i said

"why not?" my mom asked

"molla, i just want to stay in bed. please it's my first time being absent anyways"

"alright, but what am i going to tell kwangmin when he comes?"

"kwangmin won't come"

"what do you mean he's not gonna come?"

"because... because..."

"because what?"

"because we broke up!!"

"what? oh no, thats unbelievable!! you and kwangmin look so good together!!"

"umma, can you just please leave me alone... i need my space"

"okay"

With that, my mom left my room while i stayed there weeping and just after a few minutes i felt my eyeledis getting heavier and heavier. The next thing i know is when my laptop was making a beeping sound. I looked at my laptop and saw my big sister Jisun calling i quickly clicked on the answer button

"JIHYE-AHHHH!!!!" my sister squealed my name

"oh, unnie.." i said in a weak voice

"are you sad? are you not happy to see me?"

"ani, something just happened"

"spill it!"

"me and k-kwangm-m-min b-b-broke up..." after saying that my eyes started getting watery again

"oh no!! thats... awful!!"

I just nodded and sobbed, i told her how we broke up and how it's really killing me so she decided on one thing

"why dont you have a clean breakup?" she said

"c-clean breakup?"

"yeah, try to talk to him later and tell him why he wanted to break up... that way you won't be sobbing all alone"

"u guess your'e right"

"yupp! hey i gotta go now my proffessor is coming"

"okay"

"annyeong!"

with that, the video chat ended and i decided to go downstairs to eat. My mom and dad were already gone because they went to work so i was all alone. I ate as much as i can until i was really full and couldn't anymore. I was so depressed because of what happened, i love kwangmin so much and he told me that he did too but i guess he didn't mean it because if he meant it he wouldn't be like this....

After eating i cleaned all of the mess and took a shower, I fixed myself up trying to look like im my usual self, trying to look like nothing happened. I curled my hair and wore this outfit

I walked around the subdivision listening to upbeat songs to make me feel better. The song was blasting off my ipod that i didn't even hear car honks. As i kept on walking around i ended up at the playground where me and kwangmin played when we were little, I sat down in the swing and rocked it back and forth. With this, a flasback came into my mind

Flashback~

12 years ago~

"Jihye-ah, Do you want me to push you?" Little Kwangmin asked

"mmm!" Little Jihye nodded taking a of her ice cream

"alright, here i go!" Kwangmin said as he pushed gently then suddenly Jihye's ice cream fell on the ground.

"Andwaeh!" Jihye said getting off the swing. Before Little Jihye could cry little Kwangmin already comforted her

"Gwaenchana... we'll buy you a new one dont worry" Kwangmin told her while Jihye just nodded

"Kwangmin-ah, Promise me that no matter what.. we'll always be best friends okay?" Jihye said

"of course, i promise! i will never ever let anyone hurt you and we'll always be best friends forever!"

End of Flashback~

"Kwangmin-ah, what happened with that promise?" i whispered to myself. Then suddenly i felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw

"Mrs. Jo?" i said

"Jihye-ah, i think Kwangmin already told you that's why you seem down" said mrs. Jo

"Tell me what?"

"That he has lukemia"

"Wha-What?"
