The next day Kwangmin picked you up with a gloomed face. He did a fake smile when he was driving and every moment you talked to him. You noticed this so you asked him

"oppa, is something wrong?"

"nope, nothing's wrong" he replied with a fake smile again

In no time, You two arrived at school as usual, all eyes were on you guys and everyone was whispering stuffs about you two again. The whole school day the things happened as usual, Jeongmin teased you again and you got good grades on your quizes again. But there was really something that made you feel that something was off. While you were in your class you noticed that kwangmin was really sad and that something was bothering him.

You can't take this anymore so you decided to ask him about if straightforwardly afterschool. so then the last period was finished and the bell rang signaling that school for today is over. The teacher left the classroom and so did the other students. You two were left to clean the room

"oppa~" you said jumping infront of his desk

"oh! chinky-bear, Do you want to go somewhere today after cleaning?" he asked putting the fake smile again

"Actually, I have something to tell you"

"Sure, what is it?"

"hmmm... ah! why dont we take a walk to the park then i'll tell you there!"

"okayy!!"

"so what is it that you wanted to tell me?" kwangmin asked you

"well, it's because i noticed that since this morning you keep on putting a fake smile and i felt like something is bothering you during class"

"i wasn't putting on a fake smi-"

"Yes you were!!! don't deny it kwangmin!!"

Kwangmin's eyes widened when you said his name instead of oppa, he really knew you were serious about this. Jihye's rage grew smaller after a few seconds reflecting on what she just said.

"i mean, oppa"

*Kwangmin's POV*

She really is serious this time, she didn't call me oppa what should i do? i can't tell her what's bothering me because it will really make her sad "i mean oppa" she said in a soft voice. I can't take this anymore she's really upset! i can't stand it!! "oppa, please tell me the truth... what's wrong?" she said looking straightly into my eyes. Jihye-ah i really want to tell you but i can't i am so sorry. i really can't tell you about my problem

*Flashback*

I just got home from my date with Jihye when i saw my mom and dad sitting in the living room. My mom was sobbing in tears in my dad's arms while my dad was patting her back.

"umma, appa? is something wrong? why is mom crying?" I asked them. then my mom handed me a big yellow envelope that was set on the table. I took it and opened it. Inside i found some papers from the hospital it's showing how my health is and stuff like that. But on the last page there was something that immediately caught my eyes. It said:

                                We are sorry to inform you that you are positive for lukemia. We are very sorry to tell you this but you only have approximatley 2 months to live

After i read that i dropped the papers in my hands causing it to fall into the ground. The first thing that came into my mind was no other than Yoon Jihye. what's going to happen to her when i'm gone?

*End of Flashback*

"Jihye-ah, what if one day i just dissapear? or what if all of this is over? what will you do?"

"oppa, what are you talking about? why would you dissapear? and what do you mean what if all of this is over?"

"i mean that what it we break up?"

"woah, woah, woah, wait... are you... are you breaking up with me?"

Author's POV

"woah, woah, woah, wait... are you... are you breaking up with me?" Jihye said with a worried look on her face

After what Jihye said Kwangmin remained quiet "you... you are! aren't you?!" then tears started flowing down your cheeks, while Kwangmin forcefully nodded. You ran away from him bursting into tears, you ran as fast as you can until you tripped into a rock. you stood up and looked at the tree infront of you, catching yout breath. Then you saw a writing on it, it said:

                Nothing in this world is permanent except change

You slowly touched every letter of the writing while tears still come out from your eyes. You slowly fell into the ground again with your left hand sliding down on the tree. "wae..." you said in a soft voice "wae!" your voice became louder "WAE??!!!" you yelled out "tell me, why??!! what did i do wrong??!!! tell me!!! why!!!" you clenched your fist making the leaves from the ground go in your fist, you threw the leaves as hard as you can, in the end they just flew in front of you. "tell me... tell me... tell me..." your voice became soft again.

Kwangmin's POV

That's right... I'd rather you be mad at me than be really sad when you learn that i have lukemia. Mianhae, Jihye-ah. I have no choice but to break up with you even though i never want to be seperated with you and i hate to hurt you. I really really love you Jihye i really do. I'm so sorry it had to be this way. For the 2 months i have left. I'm sad that i don't get to spend it with you but at the hospital laying in bed, all alone. Jihye-ah, promise me you'll be happy when i'm gone okay? don't be sad i'll always be watching you from above. Saranghae.
