Chapter 2 – Plan

Jaejoong scoffed. “So Donghae’s the kingka and he’s dating the queenka? He’s living quite nicely here, eh?”

 “Well, we have a problem with that, don’t we?” he said as he looked back at Hyeri and bit his apple

DBSK was at their usual hangout spot. Jaejoong was sitting on the couch, deeply thinking about something, while Junsu, Yoochun and Yunho were playing on the PS3 in front of the couch and Changmin was rummaging through the fridge to find something to eat

Suddenly Jaejoong spoke up, “Hey, that girl… Donghae’s girlfriend, she’s the one that’s sitting in front of me in class, right?”

But there were no response

“Yah! Yoochun-ah! Switch controllers with me!” Junsu squealed

“What?! No way!” Yoochun said

 “Yes, you are! Give me your controller!” Junsu reached for Yoochun’s controller but Yoochun shoved him away. “No! You have your own!”

Yunho just kept silent and played the game while on a lollipop

“Yah…” Jaejoong called them

Junsu and Yoochun kept bickering and it was annoying the hell out of Jaejoong

“First they don’t answer and now this,” Jaejoong mumbled to himself

He got up of his seat and went to the TV. Nobody even noticed Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun kept fighting with each other over the controller while Yunho had his eyes glued to the screen

Suddenly the TV screen went black

“YAH!” Yunho shouted and looked up. He saw Jaejoong holding the power cord

Junsu and Yoochun stopped and looked at Jaejoong

“Done?” Jaejoong asked

“Hyung, you’re cruel. I was just about to win over Yoochun!” Junsu said

“Never mind that, I was about to win the game!” Yunho protested

“That’s why you should listen to what I say!” Jaejoong yelled

The all made a face and crossed their arms

“Now… Let’s all think of a pl-“ Suddenly Jaejoong realized something. “Wait, where’s Changmin?”

“I don’t know. The kitchen maybe,” Yoochun answered

“The kitche-… Oh, he had better not be eating my cookies.” Jaejoong rushed to the kitchen

When Jaejoong arrived at the kitchen, he saw Changmin with his back facing him

“Yah, Shim Changmin! What are you eating?” he asked suspiciously

Changmin turned around and he was holding a large jar and a cookie in his mouth. The jar was already half empty

Jaejoong gasped. “YOU!! MY COOKIES!”

“These were yours? They’re really good,” Changmin said as he munched on the cookie innocently

Jaejoong cringed. “Drop. the. cookie. right. now,” Jaejoong emphasized every word

But Changmin didn’t listen, he stuffed his face with more cookies

Jaejoong went over to him and grabbed Changmin’s T-shirt and dragged Changmin out of the kitchen

“Hyunf-!” Changmin choked on the cookies

They all finally gathered in the room

Jaejoong sat on the couch. Changmin was on his knees on the floor next to Jaejoong’s legs, reflecting on his actions. The rest of them were sitting on another couch

“So, what’s the plan?” Yunho asked

“I want to get back at Donghae just like the way he hurt me back then. By breaking his heart.”

“How are you going to do that?” Changmin asked

“Shut up. You’re not allowed to speak until you reflect on your actions!” Jaejoong slapped his head

Changmin pouted and looked down again

“But how are you going to do that?” Yoochun asked

“The girl. Lee Hyeri… Donghae’s girlfriend. She’s the one that’s sitting in front of me in class, right?” Jaejoong asked

“Yeah.” Yoochun nodded

“Then I just have to make her mine,” Jaejoong said simply

“You think you can get her?” Yoochun asked

“Please, it’s just another girl. She’s pretty, hot, rich, typical easy girl.”

“But this girl’s different hyung. She’s smart… Which makes her not an easy girl. Plus she’s the queenka of the school. You think you’re able to get her?”

Jaejoong thought about it. “You’re right… It’s a challenge. But it’s not impossible.”

“Then suit yourself, hyung…” Yoochun said

“But aren’t you still in waiting for… her?” Junsu asked

Jaejoong’s expression instantly turned gloomy. “Don’t worry. I won’t really fall for Hyeri. She’s just a tool I’m using to get back at Donghae. Once I’m done with her, I’ll dump her.”

“That’s kinda cruel, hyung. Hyeri did nothing to you…” Junsu reasoned

“Well… I guess she’s just…” Jaejoong smirked. “Unlucky.”
