Chapter 1 – First Day

It was just another normal day at Shinhwa High, except for the fact that almost the entire female population was gathering in front of the school, behind the school gates, screaming like crazy

Watching the frantic girls below was Lee Hyeri, the queenka of the school. “What are they up to this time?” Hyeri rolled her eyes while looking down through the window of her class on the 3^rd floor

“There must be a new student coming,” Lee Donghae, her boyfriend and the kingka of the school, said from the seat next to her. He glanced at the window from the corner of his eyes then went back to reading his comic book with a lazy expression on his face

Hyeri turned her head to face Donghae. “Ugh… Again?”

Donghae nodded without his eyes even leaving his book. “But he must be famous, judging by the amount of girls waiting for him…”

“To think, this prestigious school is filled with those shallow girls…” Hyeri shook her head

“Hyeri!!” Suddenly Taeyeon, Hyeri’s best friend, came rushing into the classroom and skidded to a stop in front of Hyeri

“What?” Hyeri asked, puzzled

“Don’t you want to see them?” Taeyeon asked

“Them?”

“The new students! I heard they’re extremely hot and handsome~” Taeyeon tempted

“Wait, students? You mean there’s more than just one?”

Taeyeon nodded happily and held up her hand. “5 of them.”

Hyeri gave her a face. “Well, no thanks. I’m not interested. And I already have a boyfriend over here,” Hyeri said and pointed her thumb at Donghae but he didn’t seem to notice it

Taeyeon pouted. “But I really wanted to see them… Especially the one called Junsu, I heard he is beyond cute!”

“Taeyeon-ah, do you seriously want to be trampled to the ground by those crazy girls below?” she pointed at the girls from the window

Taeyeon looked down and her shoulders deflated. “Fine…” she pouted and finally gave up

The bell rang and everyone sat in their seats. Mrs. Yeon, the homeroom teacher, came in with her usual mean and terrifying look

She stood in front of them class. “QUIET!!” her voice echoed throughout the room, making the students all shut their mouths

“We will have some new students in our class. Please greet them nicely and you better treat them nicely throughout this year,” she announced

Then suddenly her expression turned pleasant. “Now, boys…” her loud voice turned sweet. “You can come in now.”

The door opened and 4 guys came in and stood in front of the class

All the girls squealed and screamed while the guys were looking at them with jealous and hateful look

“Introduce yourselves boys,” Mrs. Yeon said nicely

The one on the left started first. “Annyeong! I’m Kim Junsu! Nice to meet you all!” he bowed and smiled widely

He was indeed beyond cute like Taeyeon had said. Hyeri glanced at Taeyeon and she was already melted by Junsu’s cuteness. Hyeri couldn’t help but to chuckle

Then the next one bowed and flashed a smile and gave a wink. “Park Yoochun-imnida,” he said with his low and deep voice

The girls all squealed

“Annyeonghaseyo.” The tallest of them all bowed. “Shim Changmin-imnida. Please give me lots of food this year.”

Hyeri laughed in amusement

Then the last one started, “Annyeonghaseyo. I’m Jung Yunho. Please treat me well this year.” He bowed and gave the girls a charming smile

They finished their introduction and all the girls clapped and squealed, including Mrs. Yeon

They were all hot, Hyeri couldn’t deny that. But none of them caught her interest

“But wait, wasn’t there another student?” Mrs. Yeon asked

“Oh yeah, he went to buy a drink. He should arrive by now,” Yunho said

Then as if on cue, the door opened and a guy walked in and stood in the middle of the four guys

All jaws dropped to the floor when they saw the guy

“Annyeonghaseyo. Kim Jaejoong-imnida. Please treat me well,” he said and bowed

Then Jaejoong gave a smile- no- it was more of a smirk, a devilish but hot smirk

He had dark brown hair, pale skin, sharp eyes and a smile that could melt any girl’s heart

Hyeri’s mouth couldn’t help but to drop open when she saw him

Donghae’s pen that he was twirling between in fingers dropped on his desk when he saw Jaejoong

“K-Kim… Jaejoong…” Donghae murmured with his eyes widened

Hyeri thought she heard Donghae say something so she left her eyes off Jaejoong and looked at Donghae. “What was that, oppa?” she asked

“O-Oh… Nothing.”

“Now, boys, where do you want to sit?” Mrs. Yeon asked

“We prefer the back row, Mrs. Yeon,” Jaejoong said

“Then so be it.” Mrs. Yeon looked at the back row and the seats were already occupied. “You 5 on the back! Move!”

“B-But, Mrs. Yeon…!” one of the guys protested

“Now!” she ordered

Then the 5 packed their belongings and moved while mumbling to themselves

“You can take those seats,” she said and pointed at the 5 empty seats at the back

They thanked Mrs. Yeon and went to the back of the class

They each grabbed a seat and Jaejoong took the seat that was in the corner and next to the window, which was behind Hyeri

“Now, class. Let’s get started,” Mrs. Yeon said and she turned and faced the whiteboard

Donghae turned his head and glanced at Jaejoong. Jaejoong caught him and gave him an evil smirk

Donghae turned back and suddenly an uneasy feeling filled his heart

It was lunch time. Hyeri was at the cafeteria with Donghae, Taeyeon and Yonghwa eating their lunches. But what they didn’t know was that there were 5 guys that were watching them from afar

“Hyung, we’re here now. Now what?” Junsu asked while biting his sandwich

Jaejoong had his eyes fixed on Hyeri. “That girl, the one next to Donghae. Who is she?” Jaejoong asked

“According to our info nerds, she’s Donghae’s girlfriend and not to mention the queenka of this school,” Yoochun said

Jaejoong looked at Yoochun. “You mean Donghae’s dating the queenka?”

“Hyung, Donghae’s the kingka here…”

Jaejoong scoffed. “So Donghae’s the kingka and he’s dating the queenka? He’s living quite nicely here, eh?”

 “Well, we have a problem with that, don’t we?” he said as he looked back at Hyeri and bit his apple
