Each year, boy and girl groups are chosen from Korea's music industry, and suited up and thrown onto the 'field' for a game of chess... Except, the people, are the game pieces.  Once you're out of the game, you're gone. For a decade. In hell on earth, or otherwise known as, 'The Pit', where you fall 700 feet into a black hole, and you don't know where you're gonna end up, no one's able to see the bottom, if there is one. The 'field' is a holographic land scape that is marked accordingly to the places of a chess board, and shifts and disorientates to the game. The 'field' is made up of moving platforms, once you're sent to 'The Pit', the plates move out of place, leaving you to helplessly fall and let the black hole consume you, your scream echoing as you fall the 700 feet. If you're in a music group of Korea, you're doomed if you get chosen and you're over the age of thirteen. Now-a-days, who ever is in a music group are people who are pulled off from the streets, and are forced to become an idol, and discontinue their regular life. They hate it. Everyone does. BUT, the president doesn't. Neither the government full of tyrany. So, people are forced into watching every year, otherwise, they're jailed, or executed for  "... being a conscientious objector, and participating in counterculture." So, they're forced to watch, and pray their loved ones don't get sent to 'The Pit', because usually, who ever falls in,

....... never comes out.
