Previous Chapter:

I found myself sitting besides my Mom. They soon turned serious leavig a sense of tension around the atmosphere.

"Um, What is it that you wanted to talk to me about Dad?" I said while trying to break the akward atmosphere.

"Well, I'll just put this straight and clear." Dad had begun.

I tilted my head to the side leaving a confused expression painted all over my face.

"You're getting married."

I-I cannot believe this. This is seriously absurd. I-

I'M GOING TO GET MARRIED?

"I'm sorry Dad, but I cannot accept this! I'm not ready for this kind of commitment!" I said.

"And As far as I know, you are informed that I have a boyfriend!"

I love Taejun Oppa too much. I cannot let him go just like that.

"I'm sorry sweetie. But this is the best your mom and I could do to save your future."

"But you know I have Taejun. And I love him!" I said bitterly.

And suddenly everything came in a flash. What I had only remembered was a stinging sensation burning my left cheek. I looked at my Dad.

"Honey!" My Mom shrieked with fear.

I was used to this. I always was.

"Don't you dare raise you voice when speaking with me!" My Dad said while bringing my chin up to look at him.

"I know what's best for you..." My Dad murmured in a low audible voice that can barely be heard. I heard. LOUD AND CLEAR.

I slapped Dads' hand away and tried to stand up. Man It did hurt alot.

I scoffed, trying to wipe my tears and tried balancing myself as my sight was once again blurry.

Mom cupped my cheek, But I pushed her away from me.

"W-What's best for me? Or what's best for your company?" I asked bitterly,

Not waiting for an answer, I dashed out of my Dad's office leaving my question unnanswered.

"I need to call Taejun Oppa." I said while fishing out my phone from my pocket.

I quickly pressed Oppas' number. His phone started to ring.

"Hello? Hyeri-ah?" 

"Oppa? Can we meet? I want to talk to you, please."

"Hey babe, what's wrong? Are you okay?"

I controlled myself, not wanting oppa to hear me cry.

I unwillingly let out a soft sob.

"Hey..........." Oppa began to worry. I really need to tell him. FAST.

"Oppa! Let's meet at the park at 5 o'clock. Near the Cherry blossom tree."

"Arasseo. I'll see you in a bit." Not soon enough, oppa hung up.

4:40pm - PARK

As I was walking, I saw a familiar figure waiting under the tree. I smiled. When he saw me, He quickly waved his hands and gestured me to take the empty seat next to him.

Both of us was unable to speak. Soon the atmoshphere turned akward. Until oppa tried to break the ice.

"Babe, Why' did you suddenly call oppa?" He asked me while lifting my chin up.

".............." I quickly avioded his gaze. I remained silent. How should I tell him this?

"Hey babe. Look at me. Tell me, did oppa do something wrong?"

I stared at Oppas'  chocolate orbs. I shook my head. I really don't know what to do anymore.

"Oppa, I'm going to get married" Isaid staring at him.

I waited for his reaction..........................................
