Mrs. Ok walked into the bathroom and discovered Yoona inside. As soon as Yoona saw who was in front of her, her eyes were wide open in shock and disbelief as she stuttered…

“You…you are Ian’s mom!!!”

Her question finally got an answer.

On the other hand, Mrs. Ok was surprised that Yoona knew about her son’s childhood name.

“And you are…?” Mrs. Ok asked

“You don’t remember me?” Yoona asked politely

“Sorry…but I don’t” Mrs. Ok shook her head

“Mom!!” Taecyeon ran to the bathroom. Yoona stood there like a stone, looked at him speechlessly. He just called Mrs. Ok, mom. Even though Yoona already got her answer when she saw Mrs. Ok, but heard Taecyeon calling Mrs. Ok ‘mom’ was more than what she could imagine.

“Son, who is this?” Mrs. Ok asked Taecyeon, confused.

“Mom…”

“I ask who is this?”

“She is…my friend” Taecyeon awkwardly answered his mom

“Friend as in…girlfriend?”

“She…she is Yoorim’s mom.” Taecyeon said as he reached for Yoona’s hand and pulled her towards him. They both looked at Mrs. Ok nervously.

“So…this is Yoorim’s mom?” Mrs. Ok asked Taecyeon.

They both held their breath.

“Son, how dared you!!” Mrs. Ok raised her voice.

“I’m sorry, mom”

“How dared you not introduce her to me earlier!!” said Mrs. Ok. Then much to their surprise, she reached for Yoona’s hands and held them, showed Yoona her gladness to finally meet her in person.

“Nice to meet you!” said Mrs. Ok

Yoona looked at Mrs. Ok. She still gave Yoona the dearly look like she always did since 18 years ago.

“I’m sorry that my son gave you a hard time. It must be hard for you, to raise Yoorim by yourself all those years…” Yoona shook her head, tears started to fall down…

“Why are you crying?” Mrs. Ok asked, “So he really gave you a hard time? Don’t worry, I’ll give him a lesson!”

Yoona continued to shake her head. As she was sobbing, Mrs. Ok put her hand on Yoona’s cheek, and looked at her with sympathy.

“On behalf of my son, I’m sorry.” said Mrs. Ok

“I’m glad to see you. I’m glad to see you again.” Yoona said with tears

“You two know each other?” the clueless Taecyeon asked

“Have we met before?” Mrs. Ok asked Yoona

“Yes, and its already 18 years…” said Yoona

Mrs. Ok froze as soon as she heard the words ’18 years’. She knew by then Yoona must be someone that knows about her son’s past.

“Can you come outside with me for a while?” Mrs. Ok requested Yoona

“Mom, why?” asked Taecyeon

“Son, you stay here in the room.” Said Mrs. Ok, then she went outside with Yoona followed behind her.

“Now, can you tell me more about you? And how do you know us?” asked Mrs. Ok

“18 years ago, you and your son often visited our orphanage. I was the one that helped him with Korean.” said Yoona

“So you’re that little girl. I remember my son loved to talk to me about you. What is your name?”

“Yoona. My name is Im Yoona.”

“Yoona…I remember…Yoona…the little girl that my son could risk his life for…”

“I’m sorry…”

“Don’t worry, no one blame you for it. It was an accident.” Mrs. Ok assured Yoona

“May I know what happened after the incident?” Yoona asked

“He was diagnosed with amnesia after the surgery. The doctor told us that it was best to keep the past away from him because if he thinks about it too much, he will get bad headache. So we kept it away from him. We started calling him Taecyeon instead of Ian, we hid all the photo albums, basically we did everything that could prevent him from remember his past, just for his sake. “

“No wonder, he didn’t remember anything of him being Ian….” said Yoona, with an obvious disappointed face.

“But I guess it’s time that I should let go, let him get back his childhood memories” Mrs. Ok said as she held Yoona’s hands

“I know my son adored you in the past. Now that you two had a daughter together, have you two ever thought of getting married?”

“Mrs. Ok…I…” Yoona stuttered at the suggestion

“I want my granddaughter to have a complete family” said Mrs. Ok

“Mrs. Ok, we’re not there yet…I mean for now we’re just friends…”

“Then you two should hurry up and get there.”

“Mrs. Ok…”

“I need to go home now. Now I’m all depend on you to help him gains back his memory.” Mrs. Ok said as she smiled, then she walked away leaving Yoona standing there. She looked inside Taecyeon’s room through the window. He looked back at Yoona, wondered about the conversation between his mom and her. He was confused about the whole thing.

Yoona opened the door and walked in. She gave Taecyeon a deathly stare and he thought that his mom had said something to her.

“I’m sorry if my mom—“

Yoona already grabbed the pillow and hit him on the head, she yelled

“IDIOT!”

“Why! What did I do??” Taecyeon hugged his head.

“You even ask now?” then she continued. Taecyeon managed to grab her wrists and held it down.

“It’s hurt!” He looked at her. His eyes contact made her face blushed.

“I’m…I’m going back to my room. Goodnight.” Yoona pulled back her hands and walked away.

“Um, goodnight Yoona…” said Taecyeon, “Women are hard to understand”

“Good morning, Yoona!” said Taeyeon

“Unnie! Why are you here? What about the bakery?”

“It’s Sunday!”

“Oh right! Staying in the hospital got me confused since I don’t really look at the calendar…”

“Umma~” Yoorim called

“Yoorim ah~ How is school?” Yoona asked

“Yoorim made a lot of friends!” 

“Do you have many homework?” I’m sorry that I couldn’t help you with it these days…”

“Teacher asked me to draw a picture of family…so I drew umma, Yoorim, and appa…” Yoorim showed Yoona her drawing

“Aishh this little rascal. Then where is aunt Taeyeon, aunt Taeyeon!!” Taeyeon complained that she wasn’t in the picture. Yoona looked at the drawing, it was a drawing of a happy family. There was a house, a tree under the bright sun and blue sky. Most important, there were Taecyeon, Yoona and Yoorim, completed as a family.

“Umma, how is it?” Yoorim asked

“Very beautiful.” Yoona smiled

“When will appa come and live with us?”

“Yoorim, don’t ask your mom that!” said Taeyeon

“You really want we stay together?”

“Yes umma. A family must stay together!”

“Yoorim ah, then do you want to go and show appa your drawing?” Yoona asked

“Yes please!!” said Yoorim

“Alright, let’s go to see him!” said Yoona, “Unnie, come with us~”

“Yoona, you seem to like him a bit now, don’t you?” Taeyeon asked

“You won’t believe this, but you know what…he is Ian.”

“What? How did you find that out?”

“I met his mom, and she was the kind lady…so meaning that he is Ian all along.”

“Fate really brought you guys back together…even in a strangest way…”

Taecyeon’s room

“Hey Taec, how are you?” asked Wooyoung, “Sorry that we couldn’t come earlier.”

“No worry, I’m doing fine…and all of you guys don’t need to come here…but then what can I say?...you guys are good friends!” Taecyeon laughed

“I heard she ran out and save you?” Junho asked

“Yea she is so brave. I really think she’s in love with you, Taec.” said Chansung

“Don’t joke!” Taecyeon said

“I’m not joking!!”

“Appa!!!” The door opened and Yoorim ran in.

“Hey, there they are!” said Junsu

Yoorim ran to Taecyeon and gave him a hug. After that she showed him the drawing she drew. She was so excited that she kept jumping up and down. Taecyeon smiled at the drawing.

“Very beautiful, Yoorim. Can appa have this?” he asked

“Appa can have it. Umma said it’s beautiful too!”

“Really…” Taecyeon looked up at Yoona, who was trying to look away.

“Yoona, you like her picture of us three too?”

“B-because she tried so hard to complete this picture…so her work should be appreciate…” Yoona gave out excuse

“Look at their happy family~” Wooyoung interrupted

“Shh, don’t ruin such beautiful moment!!” Taeyeon said to Wooyoung

“Well..I’m just…saying~” Wooyoung responded

“Taecyeon ah, can we have a talk?” said Yoona

“S-sure!”

“Let’s go down to the garden”

“Yoorim can stay with me” Taeyeon said

“Thanks unnie, please watch her.” said Yoona. Taeyeon let out a smile as she looked at her sister walked away with Taecyeon. She knew that finally another chapter of her sister’s life book was about to start.

“They seemed to be closer” said Wooyoung

“They are…They will get together anytime soon, don’t be surprise~” she smiled.
