Next morning when Yoorim woke up, Taecyeon took her down to introduce her to her grandparents. She was quite shy at first, but she warmed up to them quickly. The grandparents were in love with this adorable child. When Yoorim went to look for Maeumi, Taecyeon and his parents had some conversation.

“Taecyeon, I think you should fill out the paper to get the rights to raise her” said Taecyeon’s mom.

“I can’t do that! And I don’t want to!” said Taecyeon

“Then get together with her mother and get married!” said Taecyeon’s dad

“It’s not time for it now…” said Taecyeon

“You must do something. I don’t want my granddaughter to suffers” Taecyeon’s mom looked at Yoorim.

“I’ll work on it. I need time. By the way, don’t you need to go to the hospital now? It’s late!”

“Oh yes, we got to go now!” said Taecyeon’s mom.

“Yoorim ah~ we’re going!” Taecyeon’s mom said to Yoorim

“Goodbye halmoni, haraboji!” said Yoorim as she bowed to them

“Such a good girl. Her mother must’ve raised her well” Taecyeon’s mom smiled, then they left for the hospital.

A while later there were some more visitors to the house. They were Taecyeon’s friends. They came over fully packed.

“Hey! Why don’t you guys tell me you guys are coming?” said Taecyeon

“We’re going on an outing! Let’s go together!” said Junsu

“Junsu! You’re back! Haven’t seen you in 5 years!” Taecyeon was surprised to see Junsu

“Yeah, quite busy with school in the US, but I’m back now…just yesterday, so I called them up for an outing today! Let’s go!”

“But I have her…” Taecyeon looked down to Yoorim, who was standing behind him, which his friends didn’t notice at first.

“Who’s this girl?” Wooyoung asked

“My girl.” Taecyeon answered

“What do you mean by…your girl?” Chansung asked

“From that celebration night…”

“You meant that girl she had a child with you?” Everyone asked with eyes wide opened except Junsu since he wasn’t there that day.

“Yes, and I just know about it last week.”

“Wow she looks a lot like her mom!” said Junho

“Her name is Yoorim”

“Hello Yoorim! We’re your appa’s friends” All of them waved to Yoorim, but Yoorim was quite shy…

“…Hi” Yoorim shyly answered

“So now are you going or not?” Junsu asked Taecyeon

“Can I bring her with me?” Taecyeon asked

“Yea, if you can take care of her, why not!” said Wooyoung

“Yoorim ah, let’s go to an outing okay?” Taecyeon asked Yoorim

“Can umma come too?” Yoorim asked

“That’s right Taec, call her to join us!” Junsu said

“Oh call that short girl, her sister too!” said Wooyoung

“Okay, I’ll call them” said Taecyeon

Taecyeon got out his phone and called Taeyeon. He asked Taeyeon and Yoona to join him and his friends for an outing.

“An outing? But I’m not sure if my sister wants to go…” said Taeyeon

“Can you please help to to ask her?” asked Taecyeon

“Yoona!! Taecyeon is on the phone and he asked us to join him for an outing with his friends!” Taeyeon yelled

“But we’re on business unnie, also I don’t feel comfortable being around too many boys” said Yoona

“Yoorim is coming along! Oh how about call your friends then? Sooyoung, Yuri and Seohyun!”

“What about the store?”

“Let’s close it early! Let’s go!! We never got the chance to go on an outing ever since Yoorim was born!”

“Unnie!!”

“Let’s go! let’s go!! call Sooyoung, Yuri and Seohyun!”

“Ahhh!! Fine unnie! I’ll go for Yoorim” Yoona sighed

“Taecyeon, heard that? She agreed!” Taeyeon said to Taecyeon.

“Thanks noona. I’ll come over and pick you guys up!” said Taecyeon

Taecyeon, Yoorim and his friends came over to pick up Yoona, Taeyeon, and their friends about 1 hour later. They drove up to a mountain and rented a nice, big guesthouse with 5 rooms in total. Yoona, Yoorim and Taeyeon in 1 room, Sooyoung, Yuri, and Seohyun in 1 room, Wooyoung and Chansung in 1 room, Junsu and Junho in 1 room, and Taecyeon got 1 room all for himself.

“It’s so big!!!” Yoorim exclaimed

They all put their stuffs inside their room and went outside the guesthouse for some games.

“Let’s play kickball! Divide to 2 teams, boys team and girls team” said Wooyoung

“Let’s see…we have even numbers, so 5 each” said Taeyeon

“I don’t want to play. I have to watch Yoorim” said Yoona

“Then we only have 4 in the team!” said Sooyoung

“I’ll be out then” said Taecyeon

“Okay good, then we have it even now” said Wooyoung

“Then you two go buy some food to cook” said Chansung

“Yea go buy some food to cook” said Taeyeon

“Then should we…go?” Taecyeon asked Yoona

“Okay” Yoona answered

Then the two of them held Yoorim’s hands and walked down the mountain to the market. The mountain was quite popular with the youngsters so there were a lot of businesses running around. They got ingredients to cook ddukboki, some meats for barbeque, some kimchi, and some rice for kimchi fried rice. It got dark quickly as they walked back and unfortunately Yoona tripped over a big rock and hurt her ankle. 

“Yoona, are you okay?” Taecyeon asked, concerned

“I’m okay. Let’s go quick since it’s getting dark” Yoona said as she tried to walk but Taecyeon could tell that she was in pain.

“You’re in pain! Let me help you” Taecyeon offered.

“I’m fine, thanks” Yoona answered, but as she said, she fell down once again.

“You’re not okay! Get on my back, I’ll carry you!” Taecyeon kneeled down and offered Yoona to get on his back. “You also want to get back fast right? Then get on!”

Yoona hesitated for a minute but finally she got on his back.

“Yoorim, held onto my wrist” Taecyeon told Yoorim as they walked. Yoona was quite embarrassed because she hasn’t get into a close body contact with him since 5 years ago.

“You know…my parents said that you raised Yoorim really well…” Taecyeon said to Yoona.

“They…they saw her?” Yoona asked

“Yes, and they love her.” Taecyeon smiled as he turned his head back and looked at Yoona. Their faces were only 2 inches away from each other. Yoona got embarrassed and she looked away. Taecyeon also got embarrassed, and he tried to talk to Yoorim.

“Yoorim, can you sing a song?” Taecyeon asked.

“Yoorim will sing 3 bears!” said Yoorim

“There are three bears in a house,

Father bear, Mommy bear, baby bear!

Daddy bear is fatty, Mommy bear is slim, Baby bear is too cute!

Shrug! Shrug!* You are doing well!”

Both Taecyeon and Yoona laughed from Yoorim’s cuteness…

“Keep going Yoorim!” said Taecyeon

“There are three bears in a house. Father bear, Mommy bear, baby bear!.........~”

Finally after about 15 minutes, they got back to the guesthouse. Their friends already went inside.

“We’re back!” Taecyeon said as he opened the door. Everyone saw Yoona was on his back.

“What happened?” Taeyeon asked

“Yoona stripped and she got hurt” said Taecyeon

“Wait I’ll get you some pain relief patches to put on” said Taeyeon

“Thanks unnie” said Yoona.

After Taeyeon put the patches on Yoona’s ankle, the girls went to the kitchen to cook. The boys went in and helped too! They got along perfectly fine. As they cooked dinner, it started to rain.

“It’s raining!!” said Yoorim

“Junsu!! Don’t you check the weather?” asked Taecyeon

“No, I forgot!” said Junsu while making an ‘I-didn’t-meant-to’ face

“It’s okay, we’re staying in at night anyway. Just hope it won't rain tomorrow” said Junho.

The adults stayed up to watch television after dinner, Yoorim played for a while then she was off to bed. Yoona was busy cleaning up so Taecyeon took Yoorim to his room and let her slept there.

It rained harder as the clock ticked away, even with thunderstorm. Everyone decided to go to sleep and so they went back to their rooms. Taecyeon told Yoona to let Yoorim sleep in his room to make more room for Yoona and Taeyeon, she agreed. Just like at home, Taecyeon slept on the ground while Yoorim on the bed. At midnight, suddenly there was a loud sound of thunderstorm that woke Yoorim up. She was so scared by it that she cried. Her crying sound woke Taecyeon up, he tried to soothe her but he couldn’t. Yoona heard Yoorim’s crying sounds and she ran over to their room.

“Oh Yoona, I don’t know why but she keep crying” said Taecyeon

“She’s afraid of thunderstorm” said Yoona

Yoona walked to Yoorim, hugged her and and caressed her back. She sang a lullaby to Yoorim to soothe her. Yoorim finally fell back asleep. Yoona laid Yoorim down to bed.

“You sleep her with her, I’ll go out to the living room” said Taecyeon. Yoona looked up at him.

“Appa…stay with Yoorim!!” said Yoorim with her eyes closed.

“She…she just called you appa?” Yoona was surprised

“Since yesterday” Taecyeon smiled

“Yoorim want umma and appa to stay” she cried.

"Then you stay, since she wants you to stay” said Yoona

“Then I’ll be on the floor” said Taecyeon

“No…Yoorim want appa to sleep next to Yoorim, and umma too” Taecyeon and Yoona looked at each other, didn’t know what to do.

 Suddenly, another thunderstorm occurred. Yoorim cried again.

“Yoorim ah, don’t cry! Appa will be next to Yoorim okay?” Yoona said to Yoorim as she looked at Taecyeon and signed him to come over.

“Yoorim ah, appa is here, don’t cry” Taecyeon said as he held Yoorim’s hand. “Now go to sleep”

The 3 of them lay down on the bed. Yoorim in the middle with Yoona and Taecyeon beside her. Both of them closed their eyes and pretended to sleep since they didn’t know what to do in this situation. Outside, the rains still falling down…
