~few hours earlier~

"NOO!! TAKE ME WITH YOU!" i begged

Myungsoo casually shook his head

"no can do missy! We already have arranged dates for the party! We cant take you along" Junhyung said

"do something with your roomate" Myungsoo told me

Without a goodbye Myungsoo walked out the door without even looking back

does he not like me?

Junhyung gave me an apologetic hug then waved goodbye

A second later his head popped between the opening of the door

"Ohmagah! you gave me a freakin heart attack!" i hissed

"Dont forget to Lock up!"  

 

"MINAA!! Lets go have some fu-"

Mina froze up then pushed the man away by the chest

Not just any man...My ex boyfriend, The one i told her that i still had feelings for

She...was together with him?

"How could you do this when you knew!!"

"ITS NOT LIKE YOU TELL ME ANYTHING ANYMORE! YOU ALWAYS HAVE THOSE TWO RICH BOYS!"

"Mina you knew!"

I felt a hand slide across my cheek, I looked back at her with tear filled eyes

"B**** ITS NOT ALWAYS ABOUT YOU!"

My hand covered the red handmark on my face, but thats not the reason my tears are falling

I didnt konw what else to do besides running out the door

 

~Present time~

I dashed out of the lobby hoping the rain outside would clear my mind

I squatted and let out a sigh

I watched a couple walk by, i envied them. They had each other

"My Baby! stay closer to me! We cant have my baby get sick from the rain!" the girl squealed

The Man smiled then said "nothing can replace my baby! You'll be mine forever!"

On second thought...they make me shudder with disgust

 

Today was not the day to wear heels, they're kiilling my feet

"WAHHHH!!"

i bit my lip and endured the pain

"are you okay?!"

"nothings going right for me today!"

How did i even fall off the curb of a sidewalk anyway?!

I looked up dumbfounded "it's you...why is it always you?!"

Donghae helped me up then smiled kindly at me

"Thank you"

He moved my hair out of my eyes then began to remove his coat

As Donghae did so, a man passed by then spit... ONTO MY LEG!

"ewww!! YAHH!!" though my leg was still in pain i couldnt help but stomp on the concrete sidewalk angrily

I felt like nothing could beat how miserable i felt

I tried to desperately blink away my tears

But the moment I felt the heavy coat drop onto my shoulder, my anger subsided and but the burning sensation i had felt dissapeared

He protectively wrapped his arm around my shoulder and led me into the building

I burried my face into his shoulder to hide my face my puffy eyes and red nose

 

He sat me down on the couch and told me to wait

He promptly returned with a First aid kit

I couldnt hold in my tears anymore at the thought of Mina's words

"ah! that hurts..."

Without saying another word, his long fingers lifted my face by the chin

His hand softly brushed against my cheek

"does it hurt?"

I lied and told him it didnt

"just stay here tonight sice you ovbiously didnt want to go home. Get out of those wet clothes i'll be right back"

what is that buzzing sound? ohhh my phone

I sniffed and hoped that my voice sounded normal

"hello?"

"HARA! Where are you?! I heard from Mina that you two got into an argument" Junhyung blurted

"I'm staying at a friends house. im totally fine"

"whats wrong with your voice?" Myungsoo added

"nothing i'll talk to you later"

"sorry i didnt mean to eavesdrop" Donghae handed me dry clothes then left just like that

 

I sat there in the darkness hugging my knees as i sobbed

I coudlnt fall asleep. Those words will always continue to haunt me for another billion years

She knew..what would hurt me the most but she still blurted the words anyway 

"what are you doing sitting there?!" The lights flickered on

He hesitantly wrapped his arms around me, he my hair and continued to whisper that everything was alright

But what really comforted me was his heartbeat, the sound of his heart made me forget momentarily what i was upset about

Eventually darkness swallowed me in and i felt into a deep slumber
