Description
What would you do, if the thing that you held closest to your heart, the thing that made you the person you are, was suddenly taken away from you?
Jonghyun, the singing sensation of SHINee. His voice is compared to an angels. He has a beautiful voice, that sounds of a silk, velvety noise, creating wonder and beauty in an art called music. However, one day, Jonghyun starts to feel horrible. His throat is making strange noises every time he breathes, he’s been losing weight like crazy, and his neck has been giving him hell. He thinks that it is all fine, and just a virus. Too bad that he’s wrong.
This story is about the life and struggles of a man whose love of music is greater than anyone's before him, but no longer has the chance to showcase his passion and joy.
Foreword
Jonghyun heaved a heavy sigh.
His chest rose, and as he was about to take a deep breath out, something caught, and he spluttered, the noise echoing in the white room. The noise made a strange sound against the back of his throat, as it ached from his sudden jerk forward. He reached out for his glass of water... But there was none. Crawling slowly back under his covers, Jonghyun dismissed the aches as a common symptom of a cold. He did nothing about it, and fell back into a deep slumber.
In the following days it got worse. And worse yet again. There was nothing he could do. He tried to stay hydrated and drank plenty of water, but it wasn't enough. Whatever had found a new home inside his body was there to stay. And unless he did something about it, Jonghyun would be engulfed by it. Strangled by it.
Killed by it.
