When Hyukjae came from school, he went straight home and check if there is any mail for him...or Sungmin. There was none.
He sighed. Why is he expecting anyway? It's not like Donghae shii is still interested in replying back. He probably get Sungmin's
address right this time. But... at least one reply for him, right? It wouldn't really harm Donghae to reply back once more. On
second thought, why is he waiting for any reply anyway? He shook his head. He's probably hallucinating.
Maybe there wasn't really a connection between them, maybe it was just him who felt it. He sighed.
He should get back on his feet and let go of what has happened for the past 2 weeks.

He was about to walked towards his room when a mail went out of the mail slot. He looked down and took it. He smiled almost laughing
at himself. He doesn't know whether he should think Donghae is stupid for sending his letters to Sungmin to him again or this guy
is already playing with him like a fool that he probably is.
Still, he likes the thought of waiting for something and receiving something in return. He cannot describe why but he likes the feeling
that a certain person from he-doesn't-know-which-part-of-the-world-is is actually reaching out for him. The best part is that
Donghae is actually talking about him...

Dear Sungmin

It's quite weird that I've been sending my letters to you yet you never received any.
Do you know that I almost kill myself because of my breakup?
But there is this person
who amazingly sent a letter from the same address that you gave me.
Weird, huh? Now I am wondering whether it is you who is reading this or that person.
Do you happen to have Eunhyuk in your dorm?
If you do, please kick his for me and tell him that I will grab his neck if he doesn't
give you my letters.

Hyukjae swallowed while reading that part. Seriously, he was quite lucky he is honest enough that there is no Sungmin. This
Donghae can be quite scary with his warnings and all. Anyway he continued reading...

Anyway, this Eunhyuk person said there is no Sungmin in your dorm.
I'm not sure whether he is lying or not but let me share you something.
He wrote back to my letter for him last time.
He said he's glad to know that his letter helped me not to kill myself.
I'm quite better now. Yeah, because of him.
And I'm thinking whether I should continue writing to him or not.

Hyukjae smiled and decided to write a letter for Donghae. Sungmin shii cannot answer for you... I'll answer in his place. He was
feeling confident at first, but as he started writing, he doesn't know what to say anymore.

Donghae chuckled as he felt both pissed and happy. Pissed with the thought that his letter to Sungmin has been sent to the
wrong person again but happy with the thought that this Eunhyuk sent him a letter. He doesn't know why but he enjoyed reading
those letters from this stranger. Who is he? He hopes to know. He just hope he's really not a sneaky bastard who intercepts his
letters to Sungmin, because if not... he'll really kick his .

There was an electric interruption when Donghae sent his letter to Eunhyuk. It was weird because he knows he was able to pay the
electricity bill last week so what is wrong? The lights were like playing with him being on-ed and off-ed. He wasn't able to
sleep as he can't sleep without the lights on further more, he needed to fan himself for the whole of the night.

Donghae saw a new letter in his mail slot and it made him smile. For no reason, he does look forward to Eunhyuk shii's reply. He
was glad he got another friend, It's quite true that when you lose something, you'll earn something in return as well.

I'm quite happy that you're handling your breakup lightly.
Hyung is quite worried that you haven't been sending letters.
I've received your letter but it was addressed to a certain Eunhyuk.
Interesting, it seems like you've been sending letters to different people.
Did you perhaps mixed up our letters by accident?

Donghae crossed his eyebrows and wondered how this time he got Sungmin's address correctly when the fact is that he wrote
Eunhyuk's address. What could have happen? He swear he's going to phone his friend to clear things!

Hyukjae was quite anxious that he didn't receive any reply from Donghae. Maybe the latter doesn't want to be friends with him.
He sighed disappointedly. Cheer up, Hyukjae ah! he thought. But really, he cannot get to smile a bit with the thought that his
letter was ignored by Donghae.

"So... how's your penpal?" Shindong asked. He turned to the fat guy and shook his head.

"Maybe he doesn't want anything to do with me." Hyukjae turned his back and was about to walked towards his room when...

"Oh!" Shindong exclaimed. "Hyukjae ah!" Hyukjae looked at Shindong and saw 2 letters on the floor.

He hurriedly took the letter and smiled when he read Sungmin's name on the first envelope and Eunhyuk on the second.

compared to Sungmin, he's been receiving more wrong sent letters than him. So what could be Donghae's answer about...his not so

Eunhyuk shii

I've finally sent a letter to Sungmin.
Only, the letter that I've sent him is quite meant for you.
It's really funny.
Do you think I should address my letter for you to Sungmin? I'm just kidding.
Anyway, I'm quite shy in telling this but... let's be friends.
I'm still unsure why I've been sending to the wrong address but let's
keep in touch, ok?

With the last line of the letter, Hyukjae's smile grew bigger. He was so happy, he rolled around his bed like a child.

"Yes! Yes!" he exclaimed. He bit his lips and stood up. He went out of the room to get a glass of milk without putting his letter
down. He's going to write back after this. He doesn't know when or why but he likes the thought that he find a connection with
someone he doesn't know. It thrills him that Donghae actually agreed to be friends with him. And he likes the thought that it
seems like Donghae doesn't feel upset with his recent break up anymore. Furthermore, he thought letter writing is just
for geeks and boring people, he doesn't know it can be this exciting.

"So... how is it?" Shindong asked as he lie down on the couch, watching and munching some chips. He walked towards Shindong as
the latter sit up to give space to his dorm mate.

"Look." Hyukjae said, showing the letter. "He said he'd like to continue exchanging letters with me." his smile is wide and his
feet are curling down as he watched his friend read the letter.

"It's quite weird, though" Shindong said in between chews. He handed back the letter to Hyukjae.

"What? What's weird about it?" Hyukjae said as he re-read his letter, trying to see whether there is any mistake or hidden
messages in it.

"It's clearly 2008 right now...why does he write 2010 in your letter? Is he sick or is he making a fool out of you?"

"Huh?" Hyukjae checked on the letter. "Ah...he must have mistaken it just now." he stood up and took his milk and went back
inside his room.

He sat on his study table and took all the letter he received from Donghae. He crossed his eyebrows shortly.

If it wasn't for Shindong telling him, he wouldn't realise that Donghae has been writing 2010 for his date. He looked at the
calendar and it clearly says it's 2008. Firstly, Donghae's been sending to the wrong person with the right address. Right now,
he is writing the wrong date. Is Donghae playing with him? He needs to know.

*Author's note: Alright... so I've already spoil the whole thing.
Yup, please understand that they are in different time. I was 
inspired by yeah partly The Lake House, but not so really hahaha...
Just the time difference part. I was inspired by We Need To Talk About
Kevin *it's quite a dark book* so yeah...
