"Alright, we're next!" Shindong said. All three guys looked at the fat guy and stood up. Hyukjae turned to Donghae and saw
his sudden change of expression; he turned a little pale and suddenly swallowed secretly. His eyes started blinking quite fast
and is not focusing on one place.

Donghae sighed, the anxiety that disappeared moments ago are all coming back. He thought having Hyukjae beside him and chatting
with Kyuhyun can ease the stage fright. Apparently, it didn't. What is he going to do? His hyung might shame him for life.
Shindong might kick him on his face and these 2 might mock him for the rest of his school life. He sighed heavily again.

"Let's bow our heads and pray." Shindong said as he extended his arms while crossing it. They all gather around and bowed
together for prayer. Shindong is holding Hyukjae and Kyuhyun while the two are holding Donghae's hands.

"Whoever you are who is guiding us..." Shindong started. "Please make sure that these people beside me will have enough
energy to burn the stage down..."

Hyukjae cannot control his heartbeat as he felt Donghae's warm hand. This is terrible. He thought. He was mesmerized by the
other's eyes and now he felt like he wanted to hold this hand for long. He was so nervous with the thought that Donghae and him
are holding hands right now that he unintentionally pressed Donghae's hand. Oh !

Donghae opened his eyes when he felt Hyukjae pressing his hand. He looked at the former whose eyes are still closed. Hyukjae
must be giving him more confidence. He thought. He smiled shortly and thought. "This Hyukjae, he must be a very good person."
He closed his eyes again and prayed that all of them will do good on stage.

Because of Hyukjae's hand next to him, because he felt the warm press of the other's hand, he does feel confident.

There they are in front of many people. Behind the curtains at the side of the stage; Shindong, Hyukjae, Kyuhyun and Donghae
were all standing up, waiting for the emcee to call their names.
It helped that they prayed together as their anxiety subsided a little. However, Hyukjae suddenly remembered the last letter
he received from the future Donghae, he doesn't like it...

Eunhyuk shii

I've been a fan of dance battles as well
and I cannot remember your group winning.
Seriously, I think you'd do great but
I'm quite sure you didn't win that year.
Sorry. I hope you'll do your best though.

Donghae

They've danced together and he supposed Donghae already knows who he is. Or maybe Donghae is a little bit stupid that he doesn't
realise Eunhyuk is Hyukjae as well? He doesn't know. Maybe he needs to tell his friend his real name thus he will remember. Or
is it because they lose that's why he cannot remember anything about Hyukjae? Who would even want to remember a fail dance
battle?

"I'm going to win this." Hyukjae said in his mind. "I'm going to change the judges' decision, so you will remember who I am."

"Hyukjae shii, I lied. We won the first prize, but I don't want you to slack off even if I know you are the best dancer I've
ever seen, besides, you didn't really tell me your real name."

Donghae lied on his bed and smiled. His eyes focused on the low ceiling of his apartment. It is still fresh, the dance battle.
He could still remember how perfect those robot dance of Hyukjae. It was a handsome move and even with his mask on, he can
see his handsome expressions. His favourite part is when Hyukjae needed to pull Shindong back from the comical marathon and
made that oh-so funny face. How could a sleak, hot dancer looked stupid and can still erase that image with just a matter of
few dance steps.

"Silly," he crossed his eyebrows and showed a cute angry face. "You should have told me your name is Hyukjae!" he then smiled as
he can still feel as if Hyukjae was looking at him that time when they were sitting down and waiting. He can still feel the
warm hand that made him feel more confident while they were praying.

"When will I see you again? Hyukjae ah..." he thought. He sighed and closed his eyes. Since when did being friends with
this person become this upsetting? He is upset with the thought that he cannot see Hyukjae, he cannot be with this person and...
he cannot deny the fact that the short encounter during that dance battle was secretly magical for him. The most upsetting thing
is that, he's starting to like the Eunhyuk that he knows even before discovering that he is Hyukjae. What has gotten into him?

"Hyukjae, Eunhyuk, Eunhyuk, Hyukjae..." he said. He kicked on his bed and stood up. "I really should have gotten that picture!"
He breathe in, he shouldn't give up on his heartless hyung. He took his mobile and send a sms on Sungmin.

Sender: Fishy hae
Message: Hyung~ please just one copy!!

Sender: Minimin
Message: Yeah right~ You really cannot get over
of that picture? Go away!

Sender: Fishy hae
Message: I'm not going to look at Kyu!
Please!!! I want a copy! I want a copy!

Message: Silly fish! get up and  check your email.

"Dongguri!" Sungmin, from backstage, called while catching his breath. The rest of the guys looked at him. He looked at Kyuhyun
shortly and focused on Shindong.

"I need a picture of your group for compilation!" Sungmin said as he raised up the camera. The group didn't have much time so
they just placed their mask on their head and stand together for the camera.
Shindong beside Hyukjae, Kyuhyun decided to squat down making Donghae stand beside Hyukjae.

"Kimchi!"

Click. Sungmin looked at the screen of his camera and smile. "Alright, goodluck you guys!" He hugged Shindong shortly and tapped
his fat tummy. He looked at Donghae and then to Kyuhyun again shortly before running away. Seriously, this President is not
at all interested with Hyukjae!

"Alright, let's kick some dancers' !" Shindong said as they placed their masks back, the lights turned off and the audiences
started shouting. Hyukjae turned to Donghae shortly before the latter could go to his place. "Donghae ah..." Donghae turned
to him and waited for whatever he will say.

"Hwaiting!"

Thanks to their mask, Donghae was able to hide his blushing face. However, because they are using a full mask, he was not able to
show the wide smile that he has. He looked down and stood up slightly in front of Shindong and do his intro pose. Hyukjae,
even though he cannot see Donghae's face, was smiling on his own. He's nervous although he doesn't know whether his heart is
beating way too fast because of it or because he just got his courage to cheer Donghae up.

The music starts.

Donghae smiled as he received a very clear photo of their team. He smiled and looked at Hyukjae. "Now. I also know how you
look like." he looked down sadly. He never really forgot how Hyukjae looks like its just that this person is so silly to use
a pet name. Who the hell still uses petnames anyways?! Then again, the reason why he felt sad is because he was able to remember
the past. The past after the dance battle happened.

If it wasn't for Siwon being jealous of the attention he get from the audience that time,
he could have stayed longer and chat with Hyukjae. But he wasn't able to do it since he was almost dragged home right after
the performance. If it wasn't for Sungmin telling him that their group won, he'd probably wouldn't know. Although, at that time,
he couldn't get himself to be upset with Siwon because he actually liked the fact the his lover is so possessive of him but right
now it's a little bit different.

"If I knew you'd break up with me, I should have really cheated on you like what you've accused me." he pouted. Well, cheating
isn't really on his list of reasons why he and Siwon would separate but he does at some point became disloyal to his lover. That
was the time he saw Hyukjae dancing. He just can't help not to admire the latter's talent in dancing. He cannot believe the
fact that there is such a perfect person who has the ability to make someone's heart beat fast just by dancing. He cannot believe
that he finally see another person as perfect as Siwon. At that time, he really did liked Hyukjae. He admire the perfect dance
moves, his warm friendly presence, even that handsome face.

But admiring someone doesn't define as loving him, right? or even cheating on Siwon. He never had a change of heart, he'd always
choose Siwon, that's what he believes in. No matter how sleak Hyukjae's move, no matter how warm he is, no matter what... the
person he will choose is Choi Siwon. That's what he feels in the past.

But right now...

He slightly blamed his ex-lover for being jealous and making him unable to know his Hyukjae more. He closed his eyes. "My
Hyukjae? Stop dreaming, Donghae ah." he chuckled. What is he thinking? Well, he's quite free and in fact single, why not go for
Hyukjae? after all, as long as he doesn't write his likings for him, Hyukjae wouldn't know. On second thought, he doesn't want
to have anymore expectations. One failure is already enough for him, his heart has been scattered and he's already healing.
He wouldn't want to feel the same pain anymore. What the hell is he thinking? Does Hyukjae even see him the way he does?

He went out of his room and saw a letter on his mail slot.

Donghae shii

You lied to me, you said we didn't win.
Well just to inform you, we won the first place in dance battle.
Although, I will forgive you because I lied to you as well.
Eunhyuk is just a pet name of mine.
My real name is Hyukjae, Lee Hyukjae.
Would you believe it?
Yup, we danced together.
I suppose you do remember me by now.
You told me I'm a good dancer.
You probably didn't know how happy I was when you said that.
It was quite good being one with you, Donghae ah...
I never thought I'd have such chance in this lifetime.
Wish we can do it again some time.

Hyukjae

"I'm wishing for the same thing, Hyukjae ah... Will you come here and take me?" Donghae said as he looked down. How could he
miss a person who has become this close to him yet is still so far? How hopeless can he get when all he can do is to wait for
Hyukjae to come to him in his own time at 2010? How will he ever find him?

"Eunhyuk, Hyukjae... whoever you are, you've helped me heal my heart. I hope we can still see each other again."

Donghae closed his eyes and secretly wish for Hyukjae to feel the same. He doesn't know what exactly he is feeling. It is like
the feeling of longing for a person. It's as if he is deprived of water; he thirst for Hyukjae, he wanted to be with him and
look at him in the eyes and smile at him...

and be with him.

"Will it even be possible? Hyukjae ah..."

*Author's note: I am inside a very boring training so
please don't blame me for not listening to them,
instead updating this fic. They asked me to bring my
own laptop and I just can't bear listening to this boring man
anymore :D

Moving on, I don't know what to do with Donghae anymore, I feel
like my bottom people are quite easy to get. ^^
oops, he is my bottom person, just to make it clear :D
