"Hyung~! Please, just this photo! Promise, I'll help you look out for any Kyuhyun photo here." Donghae said pleading and wanting
to keep the said group picture.

"I already said no, Donghae. Stop forcing it." Sungmin said and looked at the picture with his lips pouted and eyes glittering
while looking at the photo. "This is an important photo to me!"

"I'm also part of it!"

"Aish~" Donghae pouted and admitted defeat as Sungmin chuckled in victory. Just then, a thought came to Donghae's mind.

"What?!" Shindong shouted over the phone. He is all over the place as Jungsoo rested his feet on another chair and Jongwoon
training his beloved turtle and Hyukjae lying down on his chest. They all watching their most favorite movie- Titanic. Jungsoo
took the remote control and heighten the volume as Shindong's voice is really loud.

"Yah! we've finished the whole routine and you'll tell me you want to quit now? I hate you."

The three looked at Shindong shortly. It seems like their big friend is really upset over something.

"No. stop explaining. I really hate you." he continued while shaking his head. "I'm about to grab someone's neck here! We have
enough members; you, me, my other friend and the one you mentioned to me before. Where can I find another person here?! Stop explaining I hate you."

Hyukjae was now completely distracted and is totally more engross in listening to Shindong's conversation. He cannot hear
what the other person is saying but he likes the fact that Shindong keeps on saying 'I hate you' like he's just trying to
manipulate whoever that person is.

"No. I hate you. I really do! Now I have to look for another member. No. It's your fault. I hate you." Shindong sighed and closed his eyes
shortly. When he opened his eyes, he met Hyukjae's weird stare and suddenly thought of something.

"Yah, you can dance, right?" Shindong asked to Hyukjae. The younger looked around and pointed to himself. He saw Shindong nodding.
"Alright, Min, I found a replacement. I still hate you." Shindong hang the phone and suddenly smiled while looking at Hyukjae
making the latter widened his eyes.

"What's that about?"

"Yah... Don't deny that you can dance. I know you can." Shindong said. "we need one more person to be qualified in the dance
battle. That freaking bunny teeth said he needs to do his president craps whatever. I'll be
choreographing it so you don't have to worry about it. Just do me a favour, Hyukjae ah." Shindong said calmly holding his
phone close to the younger, half explaining what is happening.

Hyukjae got no reasons to say no. He likes watching dance battles and participating in it won't harm him at all. He nodded his
head stupidly wondering whether he had enough time to think whether it is a good thing or not. Shindong almost jump on him
with glee.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure you'll be in the centre most of the time." Shindong said which made him chuckle a bit loudly and
stupidly. What has happened just now? Did he just agreed to join the dance battle?! Oh crap!

Right after the first rehearsal (Which happened on that day as well.) he wrote a letter to Donghae.

Donghae shii

I will be participating in this year's dance battle.
I stupidly got in without knowing what I'm going to go through.
I'm quite excited though. I never dance on stage before.
I hope I won't disappoint my group.
Do you perhaps know who's going to win?
Shindong showed me the steps and it was really sharp.
He said he is choreographing our dance with another hyung, I haven't meet him yet.
One of our members is Cho Kyuhyun from music department.
Do you know him?

"Shindong? Kyuhyun?" Donghae thought as he recalled the group pictures that he tried stealing from Sungmin. He knows Kyuhyun,
he's his hyung's lover for 2 years now. Shindong, he's the fat guy who lead them in the dance battle along with Sungmin. Sungmin
and Shindong were the ones who choreographed the dance steps and Sungmin was the one who taught the whole routine to him. And
then his hyung told him Shindong is going to find another dancer who will join... Hyuk-something. What's that name again?

Donghae straightened up and read Eunhyuk's letter for the second time. He swallowed. "You-" he put down the letter and looked
up. He chuckled and almost laugh at himself. "Stupid, Donghae ah... how can you be so stupid!"

Hyukjae sniffed and rubbed his nose while sitting with a tall guy who is wearing a pair of eyeglasses, rubbing his palm at the
top of his faded jeans seemingly drying his sweaty palms. Why does he look so nervous? So what if they are about to compete with
one man less?! So what if Lee Sungmin happened to be the other hyung Shindong is talking about? So what if the president of the
Student Council is is going to drop by to introduce a friend who will replace him? So what if he feels so unlucky that he is
not as close to Sungmin as Shindong is. He secretly wish he is slightly close to Sungmin so as he can request for Donghae to be
in their team and not on some other team.
It's not like it's the end of the world. The guy, Cho Kyuhyun, one of their dance members is overly pale and seemingly
fainting any second now.

"Dongguri!" a sweet voice was heard from outside the wide room given for Shindong's group to prepare. Hyukjae shook his head,
why do guys these days likes to act cutely? They should set Sungmin as a model.  He swears he feels an overly gentleman aura
whenever he sees the president around.

"He's here." Shindong said. Hyukjae nodded shortly and looked forward to see the owner of that sweet voice. It's quite annoying
but it actually disturbs him. On the other side of his mind, he thinks it's a pity that he won't be seeing the dancing side of
Lee Sungmin. It could have been a great refresher from his overly resposible and mature presence. Shindong said he is a good
dancer, well it's quite funny to think that the President of the Student Council is a good dancer. He can be more talented in
some other stuffs such as Math Triathlon or Traditional Korean instruments or something like that.

"Dongguri!!"

Hyukjae widened his eyes when he saw the student council president being so happy raising up his arms and giving a hug to
Shindong. He swallowed. Sungmin is definitely not like this when he is walking in the school premises. He is the serious type
with a very thrifty smile. Alright, he looks approachable to everyone but he gives out the aura of a responsible, quiet man
with everyone around. Now what is he witnessing? The overly child-like smile with a rather girly presence and gentleness of the
student council president. Wait, did he notice Kyuhyun suddenly swallowing and is very sweaty as if he
is about to be thrown in a deathrow?

"Yah... let go of me if you're not going to join my team. I still hate you." Shindong said as he pretend to push Sungmin away.
Hyukjae swallowed yet again. How could Shindong do it to the student council president? Now he recalls that 'I hate you' time
and remembered that he simply hung the phone while the other line is still talking. He suddenly feels sorry that he's been
having funny thoughts about how serious Sungmin is. Now that he sees Shindong mistreating the good president makes him want to
stand up and defend him.

"Aigoo~ Stop being angry, you were able to make it on time, right? You have your friends here and I have my friend so you still
have enough members for your group."

"I don't know. I just still hate you."

Alright, say he really looks so friendly right now but... argh. He couldn't do this! He couldn't watch Shindong treat the
responsible, overly serious President Lee Sungmin like this.

"I already told you, I brought someone who will replace me. He's also a freshie and he can dance better than me, Dongguri,
trust me. He knows the routine, I taught him all my parts." Sungmin said letting his fingers, wait, even his fingers are so
lady-like in Hyukjae's eyes, make circle around Shindong's ball of tummy.

"I don't see anyone here." Shindong said ignoring Sungmin's touches. His eyes wondered around and saw Hyukjae and Kyuhyun
looking awkwardly at their closeness.

"Yah...stop those dirty minds of yours. He's my bestfriend. And yes, even if he is in your 'society' he won't be able to taste
my delicious body."

"Tsch. Who wants to taste your body, unless I want to die in hypertension." Sungmin said and looked at Hyukjae and the other
guy. "I'm just busy with those school stuffs. Really sorry guys, its the first time you probably meet me because I never
attended any of the rehearsals but trust me, Shindong and I have practiced all the routines. And I teach my friend accurately so
I'm quite sure he'll do well. uh..." Sungmin looked at Shindong as if asking for their names.

"Hyukjae and Kyuhyun." Shindong said. Hyukjae waved his hand shortly. Shindong crossed his eyebrows shortly when he saw Kyuhyun
not even looking at Sungmin, he just bowed down and seemingly panicking, and overly pale.

"Yah Cho Kyuhyun! What's wrong with you?" Shindong asked. Kyuhyun looked at him and saw Sungmin innocently looking at him,
probably wondering as well.

"Uh? N-nothing." he said as he shook his head and seemed like his blood is all over his head. Hyukjae crossed his eyebrows wanting
to ask what is wrong but it seemed like Kyuhyun is not in his real self.

"Cho Kyuhyun?" The president asked which was agreed with a nod.
Sungmin walked towards him and squat down in front of him. His index finger is tapping at the side of his slightly pouted
lips seemingly thinking whether this guy stole something from him or not. He, then, looked down and remembered the love confessions
he's been receiving in his locker for the past months now. He thought of the name that was signed and was quite sure it is the
same name as this guy. Sungmin remembered reading a sincere letter of him being happy that he won during the election and
a letter of him dedicating a song and the latest one asking whether he can come up to the president one day to ask him out.

"Ei? Were you the one who's been-"

"Uh, yes." Kyuhun said quickly, not wanting Sungmin to say what he seemed he did out loud with everyone around. Looking at
each other's eyes, the two seemed to converse without any use of enough words. The president understand and nodded with a
smile.

"Alright." he said in a different tone as if he gave alright as his answer. Well, its not as if we heard
Kyuhyun saying anything. He's been trembling and blushing and looked overly guilty of a certain crime.

"Eh?" Kyuhyun asked, eyes wide and face competely burning., his fingers are interlaced and is completely sweaty.

Sungmin smiled again showing his bunny teeth. "I said... Alright." his eyes became a bit bigger and his manly appearance became
a lot cuter to Hyukjae. However, it made Kyuhyun smiled stupidly. Again, they understand each other without even speaking. Or
so it seems... a very sweet smile was freed by Sungmin as though Hyukjae is not sitting beside Kyuhyun at all. What is the matter with
this president?!

"Well, see you around." Sungmin told him and walked back to Shindong. "My friend is here. You better take care of him,
Dongguri, he's like my baby brother."

"Be sure he is better like what you said, otherwise I'll kick him out of the group and will drag you here to compete with us."

Sungmin shrugged his shoulders shortly and turned to the door. "Fishie ah...come in."

Hyukjae looked to the side and widened his eyes when he saw the same person he had eyecontact with in the train...

Donghae ah...

he called in his mind. He almost stood up from his place when he saw Donghae quietly coming in. Damn! He should have known
better when Sungmin came in the room to introduce a friend to Shindong! How could he be so stupid. He, then recalled what DOnghae
said, he said he also joined the dance battle this time around. He should have thought of this before.

Sungmin's arm is around his shoulder when he came in. "Dongguri, my baby bestfriend. Lee Donghae. Take care of him, ok?" he
turned to Hyukjae and Kyuhyun. "Goodluck guys"

He waved goodbye to his 2 bestfriends and was about to reach for the door but stopped and looked at Kyuhyun. He smiled shortly
when he met the tall man's eyes and said nothing when he went out.

The rest of the guys watched Sungmin as he leave the room. Shindong cleared his throat and everyone paid attention to him.

"Donghae, Hyukjae, Kyuhyun" he said introducing them to one another.

"Alright, we have 2 more rough rehearsals before the dance battle starts so let's not waste time." Shindong said.

"Donghae?" Shindong asked. "Do you know the dance steps?"

"Oh." he nodded. "Sungmin hyung taught me the dance steps since last week." Donghae said shyly.

"L-last week?" Shindong said. He seemed a bit pissed and whispered something like they've been practicing for more than a month
and Sungmin only teach him for a week, what the heck.

"Alright, let's practice."

Hyukjae stood up and was surprised when he realised that the dance battle the future Donghae was talking about is this dance
battle. They are groupmates! They participated as one in the battle. They... they've known each other since 2 years ago. He was
very happy, his heart beat fast and he just want to hug Donghae for being part of the dance battle he was also in.

"Donghae ah... you do know me. From 2 years ago, we've done something together. We become one even for a while. We do know
each other!" he said to himself.

They stood in their position right after Shindong pressed play. Shindong was quite impressed with the thought that Donghae
learned all the steps in just a week. Indeed, a good dancer. Hyukjae on the other hand can't help himself but smile. He wanted to
watch Donghae dances when he learned that he joined the dance battle before. Who would have thought that they'll be dancing
together. Those side moonwalks and open mouth while doing the chest pops. He's definitely awesome. His fringe bounces up and down
which made him even more handsome. Yeah, put all those aside, the best part of this dance routine is that they always stand
side by side most of the time. His favourite part is the comical marathon part where he needs to pull Shindong and he and Donghae
will look at each other and laugh. This is probably the best experience in school.

There's only half an hour before the competition starts and Hyukjae keeps on looking at Donghae who seemed to be a bit nervous.
Donghae has only practiced the routine for two times and he will be toast in the oven very soon, Hyukjae bet he must be anxious.
He thought for a while. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a small chat with the present Donghae. He walked towards
Donghae and cleared his throat.

"Hey..." he said softly. Donghae looked at him with a slight smile. "nervous?" he asked as he sat beside the quiet man.

"Just a bit" Donghae said as he met Hyukjae's eyes. He smiled and looked down blowing air obviously nervous and not just a bit.

It is the first time he has seen Donghae closely. He was betting Donghae is a star during his pastlife as his eyes twinkle
brightly. His soft skin is pale white and his thin lips are being moisten when he slightly it inside his mouth. He is beyond
beautiful, he now thinks whether his vocabulary is enough as he cannot describe how Donghae looks like. He's like a mixture of
gentle angels and earthly tempting human being; beautiful and innocent looking and yet seemingly tempting Hyukjae to just look
at him even for the rest of the time, even without saying or doing anything.
He wanted to tell Donghae that they'll be friends in the future and that they'll be exchanging letters with 2 years apart but
he might think Hyukjae is on drugs or something so never mind.

"You did great a while ago." Hyukjae said eyes still burying on Donghae's skin. It's quite stupid, he knows but he just can't
stop himself to not look away from Donghae's face. He cannot believe that he can be this close to Donghae, even in his very
own present imagination. 'Right now, we didn't just look at the same sky, we even look at each other's eyes. Donghae ah...'

Donghae felt like Hyukjae has been looking at his face for a decade or so, he felt so self-conscious and if he don't talk, he
knows he'll blush in a very short while. "You're a good dancer." he said with a shy smile meeting the latter's eyes. Hyukjae
almost melted with the way Donghae looked at him. He doesn't know if its normal for a person to often have a change of pace of
heartbeat because he surely knows his heart beats irregularly with the presence of this person in front of him.
He looked down and felt like he blushed a bit.

"Thanks." on second thought, is it possible that Donghae is looking at him while they were dancing? The thought made his heart
pop even more out of his chest. Uh, what is this?!

Donghae freed a wider smile and looked away, wanting to stop the secretly fast heartbeat that is deafening him. Who is Hyukjae
anyway? It's not like they know each other long enough for him to have this kind of accelerating heartbeat. But his sleak moves
are so awesome, he thought he has laid his eyes on the best and probably most handsome dancer ever. What is he thinking about?
He knows better to destruct himself.

Hyukjae wanted to say more...but what? The Donghae in front of him is not the one who knows him. Donghae looked away and saw
Kyuhyun at the side already dressing up, he stood up and approached the busy tall man leaving Hyukjae behind.

"Hey..." he said. Kyuhyun looked back and smiled at him. "Heard you've been sending love cards in Sungmin hyung's locker."

Hyukjae's eyes widen. So that's...is that the reason why he is overly nervous when Sungmin was around? urrg, this day is
definitely full of surprises. Is it possible that this very quiet Kyuhyun is asking the president out?

"He likes writing letters and that was probably the bravest thing someone has did to ask him out. So what did he say?" he heard
Donghae asked. Kyuhyun grasped for breath first.

"He said alright." he said and bit his lips, a bit embarassed. Donghae clapped and laughed shortly.

"I knew it. Be sure to bring something sweet and something pink for him. He likes it." he said while Kyuhyun showed his normal
smile. (for the first time that day)

Quite stressed: (overly offtopic, just want to vent out a bit)
I went to my korean class today and thought I was doing fine,
speaking yes, listening yes.
suddenly the teacher talked about letters and writing in
hangeul and i was like O.O completely lost! :((
I always knew chinese is easier! (**end**)

Anyway, I can't believe there are still some of you who
looked forward to Kyumin in this fanfic hahaha...
it's just a so-so chapter. I just miss writing Kyumin.^^
