Our Time: Part One.
Many oneshots: 'Cause it's love ❤
How I met you.
She was the one that found me.
“You know sitting out here in the rain with no umbrella, you will catch a cold.” She crouched down next to me holding her bright crimson umbrella over our heads. Her worried look was actually adorable that it just captivated me. “Ah~ you’re soaked to the bone!” Her right hand reached for her back pocket, as her left hand held the umbrella tightly, and pulled out a white, laced edge cloth. Before I knew it, the warmth from her hand padded against my face with the handkerchief and dabbed away the water and sweat from my face and upper neck. Was she for real? “Your bleeding,” she gasped loudly and her hand tilted my head up so she could look at me properly. “Aissh! What am I going to do with you?”
She was the one that took me back to her home.
“Oppa? Are you home?” She called in the small, cosy empty house. “Hmm, I guess he got caught up at work again,” she mumbled. I tip-toed in, trying not to make a dirty trail from my drenched clothing and she noticed.
“Why don’t you use the shower and I’ll give you a set of clothes to change from Oppa’s wardrobe. Go on!” she guided me to the spacious bathroom and pushed me in before closing the door. I felt like I was in a palace. Everything was just so neat and tidy almost to a sparkling white. I felt quite ashamed to ruin the perfectly decorated soap and towels on their racks. As I continued to shower, my mind kept wondering back to why she would do all this for a pathetic guy like me. It must be from out of pity.
She was the one that cleaned my wounds.
Her hand was gentle with the pipping hot towel that she used to clean the dried blood. A little whisper would emit from her soft lips as I watched her intently. Why was she helping me? That thought kept circling around my mind.
She was the one that truly cared for me.
“You seem to be always the one to save me," I said as I hungrily ate the pot noodle that she prepared when I was in the shower. She sat there, in silence, for a moment before finally answering.
“Would you rather have someone else?” she looked at me and I could easily tell that she was annoyed and somewhat hurt. The answer to her question would have been ‘No, I’m glad it’s always been you, I’m glad you actually care, I’m glad you talk to me whenever we’re at school and don’t ignore me. I’m glad it’s you.’ But, I would never tell her that.
“Well, I think your the reason I get into so much trouble,” I said half-heartedly as I ate another mouthful of the noodles. “Especially if it’s to do with fights.”
“Fine, I’ll stop.” I could feel the pain in her reply and couldn’t help but reached for her hand just when she turned towards the kitchen. She looked at her hand and then at me with a confused look. Her cheeks quickly turned a rosy pink before she looked away in embarrassment. “What are you doing?” She mumbled, trying to shake my hand off but my grip tightened but not enough to hurt her.
“I wouldn’t want anyone else, but you.” I admitted in a small whisper. My confession instantly had her frozen on the spot and I couldn’t blame her, I was mentally freaking out for confessing such a thing.
She was the one.
“You must have concussion, I’ll get the ice pack...” At that point my hand had already slipped away from holding hers. She sprinted off into the kitchen without a second glance and I couldn’t help but watch her disappear from my vision. I looked around the spacious living room that combined with the dinning room. It gave a ‘welcome home’ feel and I couldn’t help but relax in the calming atmosphere. I looked back over to the kitchen door and wondered what was taking her so long, she’s been in there for almost ten minutes and theres been no sound of rummaging.
I got up and went to the kitchen and found her slumped against the freezer with the ice pack in her hand, she was in a daze since she didn’t noticed that I was standing by the door.
I called her name which snapped her back to reality and I couldn’t help but chuckle from her cute blush as she noticed I was there.
“Ah! Y-your-erm here’s the ice pack,” she stuttered, getting up and handed me the-now half water-ice pack. My heart leaped for her, seeing how innocent she was acting and I couldn’t help but want to hug her. And that’s what I did, which made her squeal in shock as I roughly pulled her into me.
“I should’ve known,” I whispered into her ear and hugged her tighter into my arms. I could feel her trembling against me in anxiety and so was I. Then I asked the most important yet embarrassing question of all and I hoped that the answer in my head was the same as what she was going to reply with.
“Do you...really like me?” I was lucky she couldn’t see how red I was since her face was resting snuggly on my shoulder, facing the opposite direction.
“What a stupid question,” she pushed back and in one swift moment she kissed me. I couldn’t help but smile against her lips in pure happiness, knowing that I’m not going to be alone anymore.
