“Taebaby?” I heard Key umma knock on my bedroom door. “It’s time to wake up.” He knocked again before walking down the short hall.

I groaned while rolling off my bed and sitting up. I let out a yawn and rubbed my eyes. I stretched before walking out of my room. “Umma…” I mumbled as I walking into the kitchen.

Key turned around and smiled at me. “Morning.” He ruffled my hair. “Breakfast is almost ready.” I nodded and let my head drop down onto the table. I heard Key umma chuckle. “Sleep late?” He asked while opening the refrigerator.

“Neh,” I let out another huge yawn. “I was studying for a test today.” I sat up after he poked my head.

“Mmm, it’s good that you’re studying.” He told me while pouring me some banana milk which my eyes instantly brightened when they saw it. He chuckled at my eager face. “Now I’ll probably get home late today because I have an essay I have to write for my class.”

I nodded while gulfing down my breakfast. “Umma, can I go to the library and study there?” I asked while making my eyes big knowing he wouldn’t be able to resist.

He pinched my cheeks. “Aigoo, why is my Taebaby so cute?”

“Umma~”

He chuckled. “Okay, okay. But be careful. I’ll text you when I’m coming home, ‘kay?”

“Neh.”

“Ugh,” I inwardly groaned. What’s the point of studying if I’m going to forget everything? I sighed and looked down at my test. I looks like a bunch of gibberish to me!…. I mentally slapped myself. “No, focus! Just think! Hwaiting Taemin!” I mentally cheered for myself.

I looked back down. “Aish, what is this?!” I muttered to myself. “Aigoo, I’m going to fail!” I whined to myself.

“That was so confusing! Well I’ll study harder next time!”

“Good afternoon.” The library noona greeted.

“Annyeong noona!” I smiled and greeted her. I made my way to the back and sat down at an empty table. I put my stuff down and looked at my books. “Aish, I really don’t want to do this!” I thought. I felt a sly grin creep on my face. “Hmm, It’s not like they’re going to know if I really studied!”

I snapped my fingers as an idea came up to me. I’ll just listen to music and “pretend” to be studying.

I searched my bag for my MP3 player and my earphones. Ah ha! Found them! I plugged the earphones and chose a song, “Neverland” by UKISS, blasted into my ears. Ah, that’s more like it.

I grabbed my text book and made it look like I was studying while in reality all I wanted to do was to dance.

2 hours later

“Excuse me.” I felt someone tap me on my shoulder and I slapped their hand away.

“Excuse me, the library is closing!” This time they shook me and I sat up.

“Huh!” I rubbed my eyes and looked up. There was a guy, who reminded me of a frog, looking at me with an amused smile. “What’s going on?” I asked him.

“The library is closing.” He informed me, his voice deep.

“Oh…” I forgot that on Tuesday’s the library closes early. “Okay, thank you!” I politely stood up and bowed to him. I started putting my books and my mp3 away when I realized something. “Wait a minute! Are you the new library assistant?” I asked him before he walked away.

“Hmm?“ He turned back around to face me. “Yes, I am. Choi Minho.” He stuck his hand out for a handshake.

“O-oh… Lee Taemin.” I put my hand in his and felt my cheeks blush a little bit while we shook hands. ‘Aish! Why am I blushing?’ I screamed in my head.

“You can let go now.” Minho-ssi interrupted my thoughts.

“H-huh?” I looked down and noticed that I was still holding his hand. I quickly pulled mine away. “S-sorry.” I stuttered blushing.

He chuckled. “It’s fine. Why don’t I walk you out?” He asked and gestured towards the exit of the library. Not wanting to embarrass myself anymore, I just nodded. “I’ll see you soon?” He said once we got to the exit.

“Yeah.” I smiled shyly while waving and walking down the library steps. I walked calmly down the street until I turned the corner. Omo! He’s so cute! I can’t wait to tell Key!… My eyes widened. Key!!

I quickly looked in my backpack searching for my cell phone. Once I found it, I saw that I had 10 missed calls from him and 20 messages. I felt my face pale. Oh boy…

“umma?” I quietly called after opening the door to our apartment. “Are you here?” I quietly walked in when I heard footsteps behind me and I turned around. I gulped as I saw Key walking towards me with an angry stride.

“Yah! Lee Taemin!” He yelled. “Where have you been?”

“A-at the library.” I stuttered out.

“And you couldn’t answer my texts or calls?” He asked. “Do you have any idea how worried I was?”

My bottom lip trembled, I hate being yelled at by him. I always feel like I disappoint him. “I-I’m sorry… I fell asleep.”

His eyes soften and he sighed. “Come here.” He pulled me into a hug. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to yell at you.”
