In Class

"Good morning class!" greeted the teacher happily as she stepped into the class.
"Remember that this is already your last year in school?"
"You'll be graduating in 3 months time!"

"Stop reminding us that" grumbled one of the students sitting infront
"It makes us feel that we're old"

"Hahas"
"If you're old, whats makes me?"
"An old lady?" joked the teacher which brought laughters to the class

"Babe"
"We're gonna graduate soon" giggled Donghae

"And so..?"

"Alright class"
"In preparation for your graduation ceremony 3 months later"
"Each class is supposed to be contributing to a performance during the graduation ceremony" announced the teacher
"Shout out your ideas while i write them down"
"Then we'll vote okay?"

"Okay!" answered the class in unison.

Soon, suggestions were heard all over the place in the class.
In a mere 5 minutes, the board was already filled with suggestions.
Those suggestions include the normal same old things like dancing,singing&acting.

"Babe" whispered Donghae
"Which one are you voting for?"

"I dont know"
"I think having a musical would be nice"
"A musical includes singing,acting&dancing"
"All in it" suggested Sooyeon tiredly, as usual.

"OH..!"
"Teacher!!!"
"I've got a suggestion here!" shouted Donghae suddenly which surprised Sooyeon so much that she almost fell down her seat.
"We can have a short musical!"
"A musical that consists of singing, acting&dancing!" said Donghae proudly

"That sounds like a great idea"
"Its gonna fit into everyone's suggestion!" said the teacher happily
"Okay, so a musical it shall be"
"Any objections?"

"YAH"
"I was just saying it for fun" snapped Sooyeon

"Well, i was just suggesting it" replied Donghae nonchalently

".."

"Well, since there are no objections"
"We'll move on to the planning alright?"
"Lets spend today the whole day in doing this"
"I hope our class gets the best performance award" giggled the teacher happily

"Okay, first"
"Dancers first, who wants to join the dance group?"

"..."
"..."
"..."

"Okay, dance group's settled"
"Now, the acting group"
"Anyone in the drama club or something?"
"I'll pass the other piece of paper around, write your name if you're interested"

"..."
"..."

"Now, the singing group"
"Hmm.. let me see.."
"Everyone seemed to have signed up for dance&drama.."

"Ani! Teacher! There's still 2 more who have not signed up for anything!" sabotaged one of the girls who were sitting right infront
"Its Donghae&Jessica!!"

"Yeah! They've not signed up for anything yet!"
"They're not contributing!" added the others

"Okay, in that case"
"As a punishment for not contributing, we'll put them in the singing group" grinned the teacher

"But teacher! We dont even know if they could sing well!"
"If they dont, we wont be able to get the best class performance award" grumbled one of the student

"Well, if they caused us to lose the best class performance award"
"I'll let you do anything to them" winked the teacher
"Deal?"

"Deal!" chorused the rest of the class

"But teacher!"
"We didnt even get a say in it!" cried Donghae

"Well, thats your fault for not participating"
"Look, Jessica's not even complaining" replied the teacher

"But you know she's always sleeping"
"She wouldnt even be bothered!" argued Donghae

"Thats it"
"The decision is final"
"Donghae&Jessica will be singing for this musical" said the teacher sternly

"Donghae just shut up.."
"No point arguing" said Sooyeon softly

"Okay now class"
"I've basically planned out a short 10-15minutes musical"
"The drama team will start out with a skit first"
"Followed by the dance team&singing team"
"To make it simpler, the dancing team will be dancing behind the singers"
"As for the skit, we'll pick Cinderella&song we'll pick Barbie Girl" announced the teacher
"Any objections?"

"Nope! we'll go according to your plans" answered the students

"Objection!" shouted Donghae

"Objection failed" replied the teacher

"Geez"

"Told you to stop wasting you breath" said Sooyeon

"Fine!" exasperated Donghae

In Soojung's bedroom

"Soojung"
"Can you tell me where is Sooyeon?"
"I wanna go&visit her" asked Jaejong

"Hmm..?"
"Cant tell you"
"Sooyeon unnie doesnt want you to know"
"I've already leaked out the news that i found unnie" said Soojung guiltily

"YAH, im your oppa!"
"Just tell me!"

"Ani, im not telling" said Soojung as she crossed her arms

"Fine, im going to ask Donghae hyung" surrendered Jaejong as he walked out of Soojung's room.

Jaejong really missed Sooyeon, he had lots of things to tell her.
For the past 8 years, he wanted to see how did Sooyeon do, how is she now.
Most importantly, her health after getting hit by Amber.
But, it is hard to actually get Sooyeon's address from Soojung&Donghae.
So, in the end, Jaejong decided to just secrelty follow Donghae on Earth.
He's sure that Donghae will always be with Sooyeon.

A few weeks later, Jaejong was seen secretly tailing behind Donghae when he was on his way to school.
But since Jaejong wasnt the student of the school, he couldnt entered the school premises.
However, it didnt stop him there.
Instead, he stood outside the school gate and waited till Donghae's out.
Hours&hours passed, it was finally the bell of the school's dismissal.
Students were seen walking out 1 by 1, but Donghae was nowhere to be found.
Frustrated, Jaejong grabbed one of the student and asked him.

"Hey, do you know where is Lee Donghae?"

"Oh, that Donghae"
"He's a kingka of this school"
"Well, all the graduating classes are preparing for the upcoming graduation ceremony"
"So probably he's inside practicing for it" said the guy

"Okay thanks"

In the practice room

"Jess"
"Why arent you practicing?"
"Stop sleeping" said Donghae, feeling a little annoyed.

"Dont bother me"
"Plus, you just have to practice your part"
"Mine is my problem" said Sooyeon irritated 'cause her chest is hurting again but she didnt show it out.

She was planning to go to the hospital sometime this week to check whats wrong with her after Amber's incident.

"Oh come on Jess"
"Lets not make the class lose the chance of winning the best class performance award"

"Just care about yourself" said Sooyeon as she walked out of the room without Donghae following behind.

Sooyeon's POV

Since Donghae's not here, i might as well take this chance to visit the hospital
I mean, its like he's always following me around..
Oh well, shall just travel down to the hospital now..

As Sooyeon got out of the school, she immediately hailed a cab and went straight to the hospital.
Neither did she know that Jaejong was actually behind her, following her.
Jaejong didnt know where Sooyeon was going till he read the building's big sign : Seoul National University Hospital

Jaejong's POV

Why is she at the hospital?
I thought only the people on Earth are injured or very sick visits here?
Sooyeon looks fine to me..
Hmm..
I should just follow her..

After Sooyeon arrived, she went straight up to the cardiology department and registered for a check up.
Soon after she got changed, she went into the consultation room.
Jaejong wanted to followed but was stopped by the nurse as Jaejong had no reason to be in or near it since consultations are done in private.

"Doctor, im getting chest pains really often nowadays"
"And, im also getting out of breath easily"
"Whats wrong?" asked Sooyeon

"Well, i cant tell you anything yet"
"But i can help you check if there's anything wrong with your heart" explained the doctor
"Can you come over here and lie down?"

"Okay" said Sooyeon as she walked over to the cold hard table and lied down.

"What test im giving you now is called the computed tomography heart scan"
"In short the CT heart scan"
"This CT heart scan require a special dye, called contrast, to be delivered into the body before the test starts"
"Contrast helps certain areas show up better on the x-rays"
"This contrast im talking about will be given to you through IV in your forearm" explained the doctor

"Okay"

"But just something to add on"
"The contrast may cause a slight burning sensation, a metallic taste in the mouth, and a warm flushing of the body"
"However, these sensations are normal and usually go away within a few seconds" added the doctor as he began giving Sooyeon the contrast.

10 minutes later, Sooyeon's done with the test and the report took a little longer to be out.
When Sooyeon was sitting down on the chair at the doctor's desk, the doctor came in with a report in his hands.
As he sat down, Sooyeon asked.

"So how was it?"

"Hmm.."
"Ms.Jung, report shows that your left heart valve has been damaged"
"Which is to say, stopped working"
"And, to add it on"
"You've got some infection here" explained the doctor

"So what should i do?"

"Go through a surgery to replace your heart valve and also cure the infection"
"Surgery is the best solution" advised the doctor

"Cant i not go for surgery?"
"I've got 2more months to my graduation ceremony"
"I need to perform there"

"Well.."
"We can try medication treatment first"
"But if its not working, i cant do anything much but to set a surgery date for you"

"Okay, thanks a lot doctor"
"After my graduation ceremony, i'll be back for the surgery" said Sooyeon

"Okay"
"So as for the treatment, i'll be giving you antibiotic jabs"
"And teach you how to do it yourself everyday once"
"And come back every weekend once where i'll hook up antibiotics for you"
"Then we'll see how it goes"
"If its got worse, then surgery will be a must" further explained the doctor

"Okay"
"I'll take care"
"Thank you" said Sooyeon

After what seemed like an hour or so, Sooyeon was seen exiting the hospital with a bag of medical supplies in her hands.
Jaejong saw and was curious but didnt went forward to ask her about it 'cause he was afraid that if Sooyeon finds out that Soojung was the one who said that they found her, he wont know what will happen to the relationship between Soojung&her since Sooyeon have got a really bad temper since young.

Days passed, weeks passed.
Yes its finally 1 more month before the school graudation ceremony.
Its a month more before everything will be solved.

"Babe" called Donghae while they were in the practice room
"You really wont sing with me?"
"Its only a month more before the real thing"
"No one ever heard you sing before"

"I dont wanna sing"
"You just have to open your ears big&clear on the day"
"So just practice on your own" snapped Sooyeon annoyingly

"Why are you getting so worked up this few weeks?"
"Whats bothering you Jess?" asked Donghae concernly&worriedly

"Nothing, im just tired"

"Why are you always tired despite the fact that you've been sleeping like most of the time?" asked Donghae curiously as he put down his mic.

"Thats because.."
"Aish, i dont know!"
"Dont ask me about it" snapped Sooyeon again

"Fine fine!"
"Stop snapping at me already!" cried Donghae in exasperation

The weekend before the concert, at the hospital where the doctor was preparing the treatment for Sooyeon who's lying on the bed waiting for it.
After getting the things done, while Sooyeon laid there, the doctor went to get the latest lab report that belong to Sooyeon which she did the week before.

"So, Ms.Jung"
"Your report didnt show any improvement at all despite all the treatments"
"Even i've given you the strongest antibiotics but it didnt fight infection off" said the doctor sadly

"Oh.."
"So..?"

"So, if you're okay with it"
"I'll arrange a surgery date for you ASAP"
"Since its pretty serious now" said the doctor as he flipped through Sooyeon's report seriously

"Okay, maybe next weekend?"
"By next weekend, my school&performance would have ended" informed Sooyeon

"Okay then"
"I'll arrange one for you next Sunday"
"But please get yourself admitted on Saturday night 'cause we'll have to go through several tests before proceeding with the surgery"
"As heart surgery is a really challenging surgery for all"
"We dont want to make any mistakes" explained the doctor seriously

"Okay, will do"
"Thanks doctor"

"Yup no problem"
"If there's nothing more, i'll be going"
"Later when your IV's done, there'll be a nurse coming in to remove it for you" smiled the doctor as he left the room
