“They’re disguises,” Lisa answered like I was the stupid one.
“We’re supposed to blend in, not look like we’re bearded ladies who escaped from the circus,” I said.
“You just want to dress like a ,” Lisa accused, poking my nose.
I swatted her hand away. “No, I don’t even want to do this. I don’t want to go to a frat party,” I said, crossing my arms. I was putting my foot down and putting a stop to this madness.
“So you’re just gonna let Irene get taken advantage of by some frat boy?” This was Yeri, who was wearing a rainbow clown wig.
“No, that’s not even gonna happen. Joohyun is smart, she can take care of herself. If she decided to go to a frat party, she must have good reason to do so and I’m going to respect that and respect her and-“
Lisa had pulled out her phone to show all of us a picture on Instagram of a guy with a bowl cut who had his arm around Irene. “This guy is the reason.”
