Siren's Song

Description

Son Dongju, Prince of the Sirens, is about to embark on his Pilgrimage to the Surface, a rite of passage for all of the Siren Nation, no matter age, gender, or status. While on his Pilgrimage, he meets Kim Geonhak, a human, who helps him navigate the Surface until his return to the Seas.

Geonhak, distraught over Dongju’s sudden disappearance, takes to the seas as a sailor to find the ethereal man he’s fallen in love with, searching for 5 long years before the ship he’s a crewmember of shipwrecks in the middle of the ocean, with no rescue in sight.

Dongju, as Prince Captain of the Siren Nation, finds Geonhak amongst the few survivors of the shipwreck, and must make a choice. Let his Siren brethren take the man who Dongju can’t forget, or risk everything he’s worked for the last 5 years to save Geonhak from becoming prey to the Siren’s Song.

Foreword

“Shh...you were washed up on the shore.” A foreign male voice says soothingly as Dongju tries to move around. “You don’t have to talk. Nod if you are feeling ok?”

Dongju slowly nods, letting his eyes focus on the dark shadow above him. His heart thumps wildly in his chest as the shadow focuses into the face of a human with cat like eyes and dark raven hair that frames his face, eyebrows furrowed in worry as he looks at Dongju. A small part inside Dongju melts at the worry that the male displays, despite not knowing him.
