I can’t believe I have to compete with a cat in order to snuggle with my girlfriend. I glared at the white and orange fur ball on Wheein’s chest. I want to lay my head on her chest too.

“Don’t be pouty. He kept me warm while you were away”

“He has a bed, right? Can’t he stay there for a while? Please, Whee…” I whined, pouting at my girlfriend like a three-year-old child because I want cuddles. “I have no sleep for twelve hours just to fly here. I only have two weeks with you. I have to fly back to London”

“Then don’t fly back. I will provide everything”

“You’ll give me shows? Tours?” I looked at her incredulously.

“I know people from the West End. I also know people from the theaters here. I’ll give you shows if you want”

I narrowed my eyes and asked, “Are you using your internationally renowned art director title?”

She giggled as she shook her head at me. “No… I’m not that”

“You so are. And I want cuddles now. Twelve hours of flight is exhausting, Whee”

“Fine.” She got up from bed, carrying her pet cat. “Give me a sec.” She kissed my cheek before leaving the bedroom with Ggomo.

I squealed and snuggled back to bed. Wheein’s bed. Our bed now, she said. When she was back, I was waiting with my arms wide open, feeling all giddy and just… Just happy.

“You’re such a baby” she mumbled.

“Your baby”

“You’re too old to be a baby”

She playfully rolled her eyes but still accommodated me. She secured an arm around my shoulders with my head on her chest. She covered us with the blanket and with her free hand, she caressed her hand down my hair.

I think I purred.

“You’re just like Ggomo”

Yes, I did purr.

When she stopped with the caresses, I grabbed her hand and placed it back on my head.

“Do that more. I love that”

“Okay…”

She ran her fingers through my scalp, lightly scratching it. She also dropped some kisses on my head and I love it so much.

“Have you told your parents that you’re back here now?”

“I will when I wake up”

“What about your friends?”

“I shut my phone after I found out what Sodam did”

“Did she hurt you?”

“Physically? No. Emotionally? Yes.” I glanced up at her and found her watching me closely, tenderly, lovingly. “I don’t want to see her again. She manipulated me, Wheein. I don’t know what else she did behind my back other than the flowers you gave and the cards she threw away”

“I’ll see what I can do”

I gratefully smiled at her and reached to give her a peck on her lips. “Love ya”
