The Spade

The spade has to shoulder the responsibility of being the leader of the group. She lives with the guilt of being unable to protect her members, young herself and feeling helpless. With so little power, is she even a leader at all? 

She could have been chosen to become the leader due to her personality, public speaking abilities, having trained the longest, being voted by the members- Whatever the reason, it’s up to you if she's a natural leader or not. 



 

                The Joker

With a camera in her hand, the joker often likes to take photos and film her members, becoming an asset to their company. But as she begins noticing her members coming apart at the seams, that camera they saw as an asset might become their very undoing

This is really the “open” plotline, so you don’t need to follow any of what's above. The general idea of this is to have more of a spectator character. In some ways, a protagonist that has less going on than the other members, but because of that can potentially see things more clearly. If you have a completely different idea you can still use the "Joker" for that, as essentially this is meant to be the wild card.

               
                The Club

Gaining a fan in a powerful person is a good thing, right? But what starts out as simple dinners to keep him company, turn into longer nights. She tries to step away, but her company tells her that he’s a large source of the group’s income, that she’s being selfish.

What’s so bad about a hug that goes on for a bit too long? Or a kiss on the cheek uncomfortably close to her lips? Stay polite, they say, say yes, they say, it’s a sacrifice for the group they say.   

More info around the CW’s for this story will be in the cheatsheet. but this is very much where the TW for this story comes in, and is the heaviest plotline.

If it isn’t clear, this member deals with a “sponsorship" I haven’t decided the extent of this “sponsorship” in full honesty. The main thing I have in mind is it’s going to be coercive but regardless it is not going to be explicit, and instead focus on the emotions and psychology of the character.

I want to take care and be sensitive with writing about this subject, and I want to be clear that I take this topic seriously. I don’t know how common this is in the kpop industry, but we know it has happened. The FC has to be



 

             The Diamond

All the members of reel girls have gained popularity. But the diamond is the member who the public has the most interest in. A potential ‘it girl’ of the new generation. But under so much pressure, will a diamond begin to crack?

A limp in her step, a stumble on stage, bruises on her knees. With a smile, she reassures her fans she’s doing just fine. Never mind the endless schedules and little sleep. She’s handling it all perfectly fine.

Pretty self explanatory. Overworked, dealing with a ton of pressure, and she may have some antis due to getting more opportunities than the other members. She could struggle with body image due to the constant pressure, or she gets an injury that leads to chronic pain. You can expand on this plotline with your own ideas.

                The Heart

           Dance, Rap, Vocal

Super fans are a good thing, that’s why when the heart notices the same face popping up again and again, she tells herself he’s just dedicated. But still the hair stands up on arm and she can’t help but feel she’s being watched even when she’s alone.

As the fan mail starts getting more passionate, she brings it up to her company. But they just remind her that fans are the ones that gave her the ability to be on stage. And it’s nothing too major, right? Don’t worry about the constant messages and letters. The promises of love. And the subtle threats to her members. Just don’t make him mad and everything will be fine.

  A member who becomes the main obsession of a stalker/sasaeng. The stalker is a fan of the entire group, but has a focus on her. The company doesn’t protect her properly. Most likely the heaviest plotline after Club.



 

Ophelia has always dreamed of being someone who can stand scrutiny and pressure, who can excel in the harsh spotlight and  roaring applause.

But that’s not her, no matter how much she tries to resist she can’t hold herself back from googling her name, from imagining every possible reaction to a single mistake.

Is giving up on your dreams sometimes the right thing to do, or do you just keep on pushing through?
