Sorry for not updating yesterday... the site was seriously not letting me sign in -__-

i'll try and double update to make up for it tho...

Ryeowook's POV

"I got shotgun!" Minnie announced as he pushed me out of the way.  I laughed as he rushed over to Kyuhyun's car and jumped into the front seat as soon at it was unlocked. 

"You seem really excited to be going to the dentist" I remarked while climbing into the backseat.  My best friend turned and gave me a sweet smile,

"Only because you're coming with me!"  I grinned, Min was too cute when he used his aegyo.  Kyuhyun finally arrived at the car and got behind the wheel,

"Why do we have to take my car?" he whined, while putting the car into drive anyway.

"Because," I replied, "Minnie's a horrible driver, and I don't know how to drive."  Kyu shot me a disbelieving look.

"How old are you?" he asked.  I glared and whacked him playfully,

"Shut up!  My parents never had a chance to teach me, and I didn't want a maniac like Minnie to teach me."  Minnie looked at me indignantly,

"Hey!  I'm an amazing driver, it's just everyone else who !"

"Uh-huh, sure whatever helps you sleep at night."  I laughed rolling my eyes.  We continued the playful banter until we reached the dentist's office.  Minnie instantly froze up, and clutched my waist burying his face into the back of my shirt.  I knew he hated doctors of every kind, even dentists.  He had been traumatized eve rsince his grandmother died in a hosptal.

"Wookie, I changed my mind... I really don't want to do this.  Please, can we just go home?"  I hugged him reassuringly, but pushed him towards the office,

"Min I know you're scared but you'll be fine, I promise.  Don't worry, Kyu and I will be waiting for you when you're done, okay?"  I grabbed Kyu's hand when I said this, and held up our hands as if I was making a pledge to Minnie.  I was slightly confused when Min's eyes narrowed and flashed dangerously.  However, the look passed so quickly that I wondered if I had imagined it.

"Fine..." he sighed, "But you're buying me ice cream after this!"  I smiled and hugged him again,

"You got it!"

As soon as Minnie entered the office, I turned towards Kyu apologetically,

"Sorry for dragging you all the way over here... it's not exactly exciting."  He sent me a smile and waved away my fears.

"No worries, it's not like I had anything better to do anyway."  I smiled, I didn't really know much about Kyuhyun, but I really liked his relaxed attitude.  He returned my smile and asked,

"So your parents never taught you to drive?"  I shrugged,

"My parents were small business owners back in my home town.  We were always kind-of poor, and they were always busy.  Even if they had the time to teach me, it's not like we could afford to buy a car.  Besides, things got really bad when a big corporation destroyed my parents business.  But that's why I'm here, I'm earning money to send back to them."  I told Kyu, I made sure to keep my tone light, not betraying the anger and sadness I felt about the situation.  Apparently I was unsuccesful in hiding my emotions because he looked down at me and whispered,

"I'm sorry, that must be hard for you..."  I brushed away his concern, not wanting to sound pathetic.

"Don't worry about it, I'm fine.  Besides, I really feel good that I'm able to help my parents.  They've done so much for me that it's nice to know that I can return the favor."

Kyuhyun's POV

I stared at Ryeowook somewhat in awe.  I was amazed by his cheerful attitude, and the loving tone he took on when talking about his parents.  I wasn't familiar with feeling anything other than contempt or distaste towards my parents.  I smiled involuntarily as his eyes glazed over and he looked lost in his memories.  When he snapped out of his reverie, he looked embarassed, and blushed,

"Oh sorry!  I'm such a space-cadet!" he apoligized bashfully.  Strangely, my heart began to speed up and I had to resist the urge to hug the smaller guy.  I pushed away the peculiar feeling in my stomach, and joked back,

"Yeah, welcome back to Earth!"  We joked and kidded around while in the waiting room of the dentist.  Suprisingly, hanging around at the dentist's office was the best time I'd had since coming to Seoul. 

I was cracking up as he told a story about losing his swim trunks at the beach, when I noticed him shiver slightly,

"You cold?" I asked him, concerned.  He looked suprised, but nodded sheepishly,

"Yeah, a little.  I forgot how cold it can get in this office."  I was shrugging out of my jacket before he finished his sentence. 

"Kyu, you don't need to do that.  Really I'm fine."  I ignored his protests and draped my jacket over his slender shoulders.  Despite his insistance that he was fine, a relieved smile spread across his face as he slipped his arms through the sleeves,

"See, I knew you were cold!"  I .  He stuck his tongue out at me, but didn't reply as he snuggled into the warmth.  The coat was too big for him, and he looked really cute in the oversized hoodie.  I watched amused as he tried to push the sleezes over his hands.  He caught my look and glared playfully,

"What?!  I'm short!" he defended.  I began to laugh at his pout, and he swatted me with the over sized sleeves.  This only made me laugh harder and soon he joined in, giggling loudly.  I was doubled over with laughter, when the door to the waiting room opened.

I looked up, brushing the giddy tears out of my eyes, and saw Sungmin looking at us with an unreadable expression on his face.  Wookie noticed his arrival as well, and hopped over to his friend.

"Yay!  You're done!  Let's go get that ice cream!" he chirped.  Sungmin's face softened and he smiled.

"Kay, the usual place?" he asked looking at Wookie.

"Yup!  Let's go!" he answered happily.  He grabbed my hand and Sungmin's hand and pulled us out of the office.  The contact sent a spark up my spine, and I smiled involuntarily.  I turned and caught Sungmin giving me a harsh stare.  I flinched away slightly, suprised by the sudden hostilty emanating off the bubbly boy.

When we arrived at the ice cream parlor, Wookie left us alone to go order for the group.  When he was out of earshot, Sungmin turned towards me and studied me caustically.  I returned his gaze unflinchingly, and waited for him to speak.  I didn't have to wait long,

"So, you seem to be getting pretty close to Wookie," he began.  I nodded slightly, not quite sure where he was going with this conversation.  His eyes narrowed and flashed with anger.

"Well, consider this your warning.  Stay away from him, he's mine."
