"What is this?" LeeAe called out, bewildered. There was Kibum, the boy she hadn't seen in three years, standing in front of her. Was this a dream? It had to have been. She remembered falling asleep. She remembered that just seconds ago, everything had been black, and then there he was.  "What are you doing here?"

Dreams were weird like that. They tricked your mind, made you think they were real, and then you would wake up disappointed because they weren't real, and they never would be real. LeeAe had dreamed of Kibum many times after he had left, but never like this. Never so real.

Kibum grinned at her, and it though it was something so familiar, that she had seen millions of times before, her heart seemed to just forget that and it thumped so loudly she just knew he could hear it. Yet, he just smiled. "What do you mean? This is your dream. I'm just a figment of your imagination."

She knew he was lying, he was messing with her. He knew what was going on. It was the voice he had used on her many times before, a voice that made her feel stupid. "Kibum, knock it off. Tell me what's going on."

He shrugged, shifting his feet and crossing his arms. "I don't know. Everything has been black for a while, and now you're here."

"What do you mean, 'everything has been black for a while?'"

"I mean, I haven't seen anything in a while." He said, rolling his eyes. "It's just been all black. Nothing. And now you're here... I don't know what's going on."

LeeAe was conufsed. "I don't get it!"

"Don't yell at me! I don't understand it either!"

"Is this real?" She asked, her voice soft and sad and confused. She had missed Kibum, and she didn't know what to say, seeing him in front of her like this. 

"It feels real." Kibum said, sitting down on the now comfortable white carpeted floor. They were in a room now, one that looked much like her bedroom. In fact, it was her bedroom. "I can feel things. I can see things, and if I reach out to touch it..." He stuck his hand out towards her bed, where she was now sitting, and his hands her bedspread, feeling the silk of her covers. "I don't know. It just feels so real. I remember this carpet." He said absentmindedly, his fingers reaching down to thread through the carpet. 

LeeAe didn't know anything anymore. All she knew was that here was Kibum, right in front of her, and all she wanted to do was hug him, kiss him, tell him how much she had missed him. Yet, she said, "This is one hell of a nightmare."
