IU’s POV

When the old lady was about to exited Myungsoo’s room, I quickly sat on a nearby bench. I grabbed a random newspaper and pretended to read it. After she passed by, I put back the newspaper back to its original place. Slowly, I walked to Myungsoo’s room again. I glanced into the room and caught a glimpse of him. He was sighing deeply.

Poor him.

I bravely knocked on the door. No answer. I entered the room and saw Myungsoo deep in his thoughts. I waved my hand infront of him. He finally realized my presence in his room.

“You’re sick?” I asked.

“No.” He answered simply.

Don’t lie! I know you’re sick!

“Something’s bothering you?” I asked out of curiousity.

He just stayed silent and frozen.

“You have cancer?” I asked him insistently.

Aish! Why did I asked?

I mentally cursed myself. He looked at me in shock.

“Did you eavesdropped on our conversation just now? Yes or no?!” He asked. But, it was not actually a question. It was more of a shout.

“I…I….Yes, I heard your conversation.” I answered in a quiet voice.

“Shut your mouth up and scram out of here!!” He yelled furiously. His eyes looked like it was burning.

I just stood there. I had no intentions on getting out of there.

“Get out!!” He yelled again.

“Are you stupid or deaf?! You didn’t hear me? I said, get out!!” He pointed at the door.

“Myungsoo-ssi, we’re in the same situation. I just asked you because I’m curious! That’s all!” I yelled back and ran out of the room, crying.
