When Kwon stepped into the house, it was past midnight. Stopping by the blue door across his room, Kwon gently opened and came into the room, looking at his 3-yrs old twins were sleeping peacefully, Kwon couldn’t help but being thankful to God for granting him with such beautiful angels (and two little devils when they’re up) with a light kiss on each of the kid’s head, he whispered, “Sleep well, my angels” before heading back to his own bed room.

Tiptoeing around in order not to wake his wife, Kwon picked up his pajamas, prepared by his wife and went to his bathroom. After taking a quick shower, Kwon was going to his study room when his wife stirred awake

“You’re home?”

“Yeah” Kwon walked back to her, bent down and kissed her lightly on the lips

“Sleep, I need to work on something first, I’ll be back quickly” He pulled the blanket up to her chin.

“Don’t work too hard, ok?” She murmured.

He smiled at his wife, she’s always like that, worrying and thinking about him even though he’s sure taking care of the 2 devils while working on her project wasn’t any easier than his job.

As soon as he reached his study, Kwon took out a pad of paper and start writing. It’s been sometimes since he wrote anything by hand, so he had to throw away a few sheets, until his opening of the letter looked neat enough

“Gain-ah,

How have you been? I hope you’re doing well. I miss you so much. I miss us even more.

As you know, I’ve been married for 4 years now, it’s also 4 years since we broke up. We were no longer lovers ever since that day. Ivknow, for myself, and I’m sure you feel the same too, that even though we parted on good term, there’s always a bit of regret of leaving what we had together before.

I think that’s why, even though I’m really happy with my wife and my family, now and then I still miss you and the time we’re together, so much.

Love, I won’t deny this. My wife is a perfect woman, she’s a well respected figure in the industry, yet she takes care of me and my two little angels very well. As busy as she is, she’s never left me uncared for, even just for one moment. I love her, she’s all I could ask for a wife.

But, I will sincerely admit with you, since I’m writing this letter to show you my heart, there were times, as I holding her in my arms, I thought of you. There were times when we were playing with our kids, I wished I could be with you, alone.

Do you remember when i first met you?

I was just a little boy, looking up to you as my idol and you looked at me like i’m an alien.. heuheuheu… I’m Kkap, I know, it’s a bit overwhelming when we first met but you must have known now, it’s only my way to cover up my shyness. And then we met again, this time, we were forced to be a couple. It was such a happy time of my life.

Again, I won’t lie to you that I had experienced many breath-taking moments after we broke up: the moment I put the wedding ring on my wife’s finger, the first moment i saw my twins, each with ten fingers and ten toes… i felt my life was completed. But the time I spent with you, during that 1 year and 3 months, and the years after that were the most memorable to me. I experienced many of my “first” with you. Thank you for being with me and for making me into the man I am today.

Gain-ah, I can’t express how much I miss you. I know you’re also happy with your family now. The husband you love, the children you adore, just by looking at how you take care of them, I know you’re a perfect wife. But because I know you so well, I know you’ve been missing us too.

Taking care of a family is not an easy job, you still have your studio to take care of, so many things that make you gradually lose your personal time. That’s not a healthy way to live, right? Let’s stop that. Let’s make time for ourselves. Gain, Let’s cheat. Just one day, this Sunday.

Leave your duty as a wife and mother behind, go out with me. Tell that ever-busy husband of yours, you won’t cook him lunch and dinner, send your kids to your parents’ house. Free yourself, just one day with me. I’ll tell my wife the same thing, I’m not gonna be home on that day, I even cleared my schedule, you should do the same, ok?

Please, I know you can do this, just one word and your husband will follow, since when he’s not listening to you anyway?

As Kwon read again his letter, he felt so pleased with this idea. He’s been thinking about this for a long time, until today, he felt it’s time to execute it. Kwon opened his drawer and took out an envelope, he folded the letter carefully and put into the envelope. On the front, he wrote neatly:

“From KKAP

To LINE”

Looking at his finished product, Kwon couldn’t help but be proud. Just the thought of being with Gain for a day without any intrusion made him giddy. Putting the letter back into his PJ’s pocket, he went back to the master bedroom. As he came in this time, his wife didn’t wake up. Kwon walked slowly and softly toward her, he gently put the letter he just wrote on her bedside table so she can read it first thing in the morning.

Walking back to his side of the bed, he eased himself slowly on to the bed so he wouldn’t disturb her.

Turn on the side, he gathered her in his arm and closed his eyes for the night. As if she could feel his warmth, she snuggled into his embrace and both fell as sleep peacefully.

Rumor has it, a little more than 9 months after they ‘cheated’.

Gain murmured in the hospital as she was trying to push out their daughter, all the while clenching Kwon’s hand tightly “next time you ask me to cheat with you, you’re dead” causing many eyes widened looking at them; and Kwon just nervously smiled (though the pain made his smile looked awkward), and whispered softly to her ears so others wouldn’t hear it

“Yeobo, the scar on my back shows that you enjoyed it too” resulting in a tightened clench and a painful howl from the Director Jo of JYPE
