Chapter 7 ~~~ Ever since Jimin found out about the Stanford scholarship program she has been studying none stop. Her days were consumed by an unyielding commitment to her academic pursuits. She had been pushing herself to the limits, constantly immersing herself in textbooks, reference materials, and practice exams. Fatigue had etched its mark upon her face, leaving visible signs of weariness. Dark circles nestled beneath her eyes, betraying countless nights spent burning the midnight oil. Her once vibrant and energetic demeanor had faded, replaced by a subdued and exhausted countenance.   It is break time now and despite the other kids jumping and dancing around like monkeys, Jimin is still focusing on her study. Minjeong couldn't help but be deeply concerned about Jimin's well-being. Holding a hot coffee in her hand, Minjeong shyly walks over to Jimin's desk and puts the coffee in front of her. She even drew a cute smiley face and an encouraging message: "You are getting there."   "Thanks," Jimin says with a nonchalant nod. She takes a sip of coffee and gives Minjeong a small smile.    Their relationship is slowly taking in a better direction.    Jimin returns to her books and couldn't bare to give Minjeong a second glance. Seeing the dedication and unwavering determination Jimin displayed in her pursuit of the scholarship left Minjeong in awe.  She saw Jimin's dream as a reflection of her true essence—a testament to her ambition, intelligence, and unwavering spirit. Minjeong is not gonna lie, she has a big thing for smart and confident women.    Minjeong sits next to her and put her head on Jimin's shoulder. She quietly hums and plays with her phone. Jimin is so startled that she turns to face Minjeong and shoots her a cold glare.   "What are you doing?"   "Being with you."   "Go away. I need to focus." Jimin frowns and tried to shake Minjeong off.   "So you are saying, you can't focus with me around?" Minjeong batted her eyelashes, acting all cute and innocent.   "It's not that... but... whatever." Jimin huffs and returns to her books. The blush on her cheeks is visibly obvious now.   They stay in an intimate position until break time is over.   To be more specific, until Ryujin comes to their class and whistles out a terrifying comment.   "Jimin got a girlfriend, Jimin got a girlfriend. Hahahaha."   "Get out!!" Jimin yelled. Oh if only looks could kill...   ~~~   Under the soft glow of the setting sun, Minjeong took Jimin's hand and led her on a leisurely walk through the city streets. They strolled along the bustling sidewalks, their footsteps synchronizing with the rhythm of their hearts. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of anticipation and a gentle breeze carried the fragrance of blooming flowers.    They had just finished their usual practice session and it seems that there are no more problems between them. It is still hard for Minjeong to convey her feelings toward Jimin but she had realized from the kissing accident that it is better to take things slow. This is a 17-year-old kid for crying out loud. Minjeong doesn't want to brainwash Jimin into a relationship. What matter is Jimin's happiness and if going to Stanford and winning that competition is Jimin's true desire then she should just keep her feelings to herself and helps her (future) girlfriend in any way possible.   But it wouldn't hurt if they have a little fun and go on a few dates here and there would it?   As they round a corner, Minjeong guides Jimin toward a magnificent art museum that stands as a beacon of culture and creativity. The grand entrance was adorned with intricate sculptures, and the large glass windows allowed a glimpse of the treasures that awaited inside.   With a tender smile, Minjeong turns to Jimin, her eyes sparkling with affection. She gently squeezes her hand, conveying both love and excitement.   "Jimin," Minjeong whispers, her voice carrying a mixture of adoration and anticipation, "There's a place I would love to take you."   "An art museum? Why?" Jimin scoffs. She would rather spend her time studying.    "Come on. You have been so stressed lately, I just want to help you relax a little. Let's immerse ourselves in the world of creativity and expression, to wander through the halls and discover the stories that art has to tell."    Minjeong has already taken Jimin's hand and guild her towards the entrance. Jimin doesn't fight back, too exhausted.   The truth is, this art museum is Minjeong's favorite dating spot. In the future, whenever they would go back to Busan, they would spend hours wandering in the art museum, taking pictures and kissing in front of the beautiful artworks. And if we are being completely honest here, those artworks are nothing compared to Jimin's beauty.    Jimin and Minjeong step into the art museum, greeted by a serene atmosphere and the soft murmurs of fellow visitors. The walls are adorned with captivating masterpieces, each one offering a glimpse into the artist's soul.   They stroll through th

Chapter 9: I mean it's clear that Jimin likes Minjeong in this past timeline but is too stubborn to act on it, but I honestly think Wonyoung is right about their present relationship, Minjeong never entirely accepted Jimin at her lowest and always wanted her to change, but Jimin never did, which is kind of how we got here. Minjeong doesn't want their relationship to be built out of grief and heartache, so she went back in time to try and fix it and make it better, instead of trying to mend it in the present. And I guess, it's working? I mean, we still don't know how this is affecting the present, so maybe it's not, but I want to hope for the best.

Chapter 5: I can’t help but feel a little weird about Minjeong’s intentions and actions here. She knowingly and intentionally got Jimin, who is still 17 years old, drunk so she can take advantage and kiss her. It would be less weird if this is the doing of 16 year old Minjeong but this Minjeong has the mind of a 25 year old, and she’s supposed to be the grown up in their dynamic. I think Minjeong is just forcing herself too hard on Jimin. They’re both stubborn and I hope they can figure themselves out.
