Ang aga pa para maexcite ako ng ganito, I even beat my own alarm clock at waking up. Usually, tulog mantika ako ganitong oras. Pero wala pang seven nakaligo at bihis na ako.

Isa lang naman agenda ko for today, which is to enroll at the same school with my other friends.

Pagkapark nung sasakyan ko, lahat ata ng atensyon napunta sa akin pagbaba ko. I admit nakakailang siya pero for 3 years straight nasanay na lang ako.

As usual, It’s always the same thing with all the people whispering and gossiping about me.

The rumors vary and most of them are fake. Some would dare say I’m a and a snob, that I’m nothing but a pretty faced spoiled brat.

But I don’t mind them. I don’t know them and they don’t know me personally. Wag lang nila idadamay yung mga importanteng tao sa akin.

All those rumors just go to one ear and out the other, pero nakakairita minsan. They’re like these annoying buzzing bees rather than do something productive magchichismis pa.

You couldn’t even call it whispering kasi rinig na rinig ko lahat. At alam ko naman sadya nila iparinig.

[8:23 am] Xee: I’m here at the parking lot, nasa office ka na ba?

[8:25 am] Rei: Yes, dumiretso na ako dito. It’s so hot kaya today. I know you’ll complain na naman about the long line.

[8:25 am] Rei: Just go straight and then left, makikita mo naman agad yung pila.

[8:27 am] Rei: Bilisan mo kasi malapit na ako sa harap ng office.

[8:27 am] Xee: What about Eloise, Kinsley and Cy?

[8:29 am] Rei: Kahapon pa sila tapos. Now, just come here quickly.

Di na ako nagabalang magreply and just walked faster, nakita ko naman agad si Rei.

“ReiRei!!!”

Siguro napalakas yung sigaw ko because most of the people in line looked at my way. I just shrugged it off and walked off to where Rei was standing.

Di ko naiwasang mapatingin sa harap. And the first thing I saw was a cute girl with short bob hair and bangs, staring back at me.

And I couldn’t help but be a little flustered when my eyes met two pair of round eyes, resembling that of a puppy.

Her stare was a little bit intense and I couldn’t help but be even more flustered. Mukhang di naman nahalata yun ni Miss Liit.

I could feel yung paginit nung ears ko, I was just relieved that I decided to not put it up in a ponytail.

She looked like a maltese. I just smiled at her bago ko binaling agad kay Rei yung atensyon ko.

“Xee, thank god! You’re here. Kanina pa ako magisang nakapila dito. It’s so init and boring with all these people.” Maarteng sabi ni Rei, I couldn’t help but laugh kaso di nga siya nagkakamali, kahit umaga pa. Ang init init because of all these enrollees na parami ng parami.

“We’re nearly at the front, onti naman na lang yung nasa harap.”

Mabuti nga at malapit na kami sa office, I can’t take being stuck in this line for hours.

But what I couldn’t take more was her still staring at me. I could still see her in my peripheral vision looking at me, it only lasted for a few seconds kasi tumingin siya pabalik sa harap.

“Did you message Kin na we’ll be enrolling today?”

“I did, that’s how I found out rin na they’re finished na pala with their forms kahapon pa.”

“It’s so hot na talaga, Gosh! those three didn’t tell us na pwede naman pala to register kahapon.” Rei said, fanning herself with her hand.

Nagtuloy tuloy lang usapan namin hanggang si Miss Liit na yung nasa registrar's office. Di naman siya nagtagal, in fact, ang bilis niya matapos with her form.

As soon as she was done umalis agad siya, it was finally my turn nung may nakita akong wallet. I couldn’t be wrong kay Miss Liit etong wallet.

“Can you do my form for me Rei. I’ll be back.”

Lumingon lingon pako, I was a bit relieved na di pa silang dalawa nung kasama niya nakalayo.

“Excuse me, Miss! Wait!”

Oh gosh, di pa niya ata ako narinig.

“Miss! Yung wallet niyo po!”

Mukhang di parin talaga niya ako narinig.

“Hoy, Miss Liit! Yung wallet niyo po nahulog!”

Nakita ko naman yung kasama niyang nagsasalita, she stopped in her tracks at napakapa nung bulsa niya.

I saw how reluctant she was to turn around, And as soon as she did nakabusangot yung mukha niya. I couldn’t help but find her cute, she looked like an angry maltese.

Nakangiti lang ako habang palapit siya sa kinaroroonan ko, she didn’t say anything but just held her hand out. And without a word I gave her wallet naman agad.

“Thank you, Kapreng Maingay.”

Did she just call me..?

Napakunot naman noo ko sa sinabi niya. I was being nice na nga to return her wallet and she just called me Maingay na Kapre?

“What did you just call me?”

Nakita ko naman agad paglaki nung mata niya, maybe she just realized what she had said.

Nakabawi naman agad siya, “Huh? I just said, Thank you.” raising the wallet.

I couldn’t help but frown even more, I know what I heard.

I am not loud kaya and I am not a Kapre. Sa ganda kong to? Tinawag niya lang akong Kapreng Maingay!
