Alliana’s POV

I honestly don’t know what came to me.

I was just supposed to go out of the house and entertain myself by going to the mall. Tama naman ako. I went home to an empty house so there’s nothing to come home to.

I wasn’t expecting anyway but still, it wouldn’t hurt to be proven wrong.

Since wala namang tao sa bahay and Axl seems to be busy looking for things to be busy with dahil nauumay na rin kaming dalawa sa bahay after a few days of seeing each other every time, I thought of looking for things to do outside.

I didn’t really have a plan.

Bree is out on a vacation with her family so I couldn’t ask her to come with me.

Inisip ko na lang na baka may mapagkakaabalahan ako sa mall kesa balik balikan ko lang ang Netflix at email inbox ko.

But then there’s this one notification that called out to me.

It’s not just any message like the others because this one is so particular that I instantly know who it's from. After all, siya lang naman ang may tawag sakin ng ganong nickname.

And it’s always the same: ianiii

I don’t know but I feel like I can hear her say it whenever I read it from my inbox. I find it funny.

It’s cute.

Our text conversations are usually short. Nahahalata ko when she’s bored because she sends random messages sometimes.

I guess we’re at that stage of familiarity. She’s comfortable saying stuff now, even the stupid ones. She’s silly and funny even if she doesn’t try. 

I guess it’s a charm.

After that night with my dad, masasabi ko na things have shifted for the better. We’re closer now.

We’re comfortable.

Surprisingly, to the point that I spontaneously asked her out to hangout with me.

Sinong mag aakala? Pakiramdam ko, Bree would tease me endlessly if she knew.
