I’ve been in bed for almost two hours pero hindi ako makatulog.

I was doing homeworks all night and right after I finished, naisip ko sa susunod na lang ako lalabas. I’m quite tired.

My roommate is busy with her plates the whole night. Dinner was long forgotten and replaced by coffee. Kaya nga siguro hyper na naman siya.

Kanina pa patay ang ilaw sa bedroom. Only my night light and Allister’s drafting table light illuminated our spots. It’s quite dark but she said she doesn’t mind since her lamp is enough, according to her.

I’m quite relieved kasi hindi ako makakatulog kung bukas lahat ng ilaw. Pero sa lagay ngayon na patay naman ang ilaw, hindi pa rin ako makatulog.

I faintly hear Allister’s music from her earphones. I don’t know how she’s able to work with loud music but I guess it helps her stay up.

She bops her head to the beat of the song. Earlier, I see her doing hand gestures as if she was a rapper of some sort.

Kay sakit namang isipin na

Sa puso mo ako'y pangalawa

Sa t'wing makikita kitang kasama siya

Pinipikit ko ang aking mga mata

At sa gabing kasama mo siya

Halos hindi ako makahinga-

She started breathing heavily after that part, I thought there was something wrong… Well, there’s clearly something weird going on in her head. I almost got up but she started rapping again after that.
