The E2 Squad gathers at a table outside their lecture hall. It was Johnny's turn to decide where to eat. He sits with his arms folded, while the rest of the squad anticipates his decision. Under the table, he shakes his leg aggressively.

[Johnny] Hmm...

Joy places a hand on his lap. He stops obediently.

[Yeri, batting her eyes] If you can't decide, let it be known that I'm craving for Tteokbokki.

Taeyong slams the table in denial.

[Taeyong, being dramatic] But we just had Korean two days ago!

[Yeri, snapping] We had hotpot three times last week too!

Yeri and Taeyong begin their catfight.

[Johnny, rubbing his forehead] Ah, kids...

[Joy, turning to Seulgi] Is there something on campus you haven't tried?

Seulgi thinks for a moment.

[Seulgi] Jisoo mentioned an Italian restaurant at Law School.

Yeri and Taeyong pause. Johnny hits the table in epiphany.

[Johnny, loudly] How could we forget!

[Joy] The best food on campus...

Joy bites her lips, her craving sparked.

[Yeri] My aglio olio!

[Taeyong] My mac and cheese!

Seulgi sees that everyone is happy with the choice.

[Seulgi] Alright then, lead the way! I'm famished.

She swore in her heart that she would be there just for the food.

When The Squad arrives at the restaurant, they see Irene, Jennie and Jisoo seated at a table in the corner.

[Johnny, rushing over] Mrs Son!

Irene laughs heartily, her hand over a widened smile.

[Jennie, to the waiter] Excuse me, is it alright if we join tables with them?

The waiter agrees, and calls over another waitress to help him. As the staff were busy with arranging the seating, Seulgi had a minute to think about where she would sit. Jisoo and Jennie each sat closest to the window, opposite each other, and Irene sat beside Jennie. Now, it would make the most sense take the seat beside Jisoo, but that would mean that she will be sitting opposite Irene for the next hour or so. After their little incident a few days ago, Seulgi was not exactly sure that she would be comfortable with that. As Seulgi contemplates, Johnny takes the seat next to Irene and Taeyong quickly settles down beside him.

[Joy] I'll sit here.

She takes a seat opposite Johnny.

[Yeri, pointing to the seat] Seulgi, you sit beside Jisoo.

THE SEATING

[Window] Jennie, Irene, Johnny, Taeyong [Aisle]

[Window] Jisoo, Seulgi, Joy, Yeri [Aisle]

Yeri takes the aisle, rendering Seulgi helpless. She slowly moves towards her seat, and lays a napkin on her lap. Irene adjusts herself. Sensing her movement, Seulgi looks up at her. When their eyes meet, they both look away. The hearty conversations held by the table fades into white noise inside Seulgi's head as she recalls her time with Irene a few days ago.

Seulgi remembered feeling Irene's soft, luscious hair on her forearm. It was the first time she saw Irene up close. Her skin, Seulgi thought, was a flawless porcelain white. Irene's eyes fluttered instinctively, a sign of her bafflement, unintentionally flaunting her long lashes. Seulgi, upon witnessing such endearing beauty, felt so disoriented her head was spinning. She could have sworn she caught Irene staring at her lips for a little too long.

[Joy] What are you gonna get, Seulgi?

Her lips. Irene was definitely staring at her lips.

Seulgi was unresponsive. Jisoo leans over to Seulgi's ear.

[Jisoo, loudly] KANG SEULGI!

Seulgi jumps. She smacks Jisoo on her back for revenge. As she turns back to face the table, she catches Irene looking. This time, they maintained contact for much longer, until Irene sees a familiar man walking past their table. She nudges Jennie and signals for the latter to look his way. Jennie notices him, then hides her face behind the menu.

[Jennie, chanting under her breath] Don't look here, don't look here...

The man looks over as he settles his bill for the meal. He then approaches the table.

[Jisoo, concerned] Jennie, you okay?

Jennie simply lifts a hand in response.

[Man] Irene!

Irene brings her hands together, resting her elbows on the table and leaning forward to block Jennie from the man's view.

[Irene, politely] Long time no see, Jiyong oppa.

Irene tilts her head and flashes a smile at Jiyong. Seulgi wonders if that was her flirting.

[Jiyong] Yes, it's been a long time alright.

From his deep eyes, to the gentle, enthusiastic expressions of his voice, Jiyong was an incredibly attractive man.

[Irene] What are you doing here?

Seulgi sees Jennie cowering behind the menu in her hand, and realises that Irene was holding his attention so he would not notice Jennie.

[Jiyong] Just errands.

He chuckles, lowers his head and rubs an eye
