"Taemin. My name is Taemin by the way."

It's a pretty name, Kibum thinks. Fits the owner.

"Key." He strainingly whispers, trying not to convulse in pain.

Taemin swears, dabbing on the open wounds in his stomach with the medical gauze he had rushed away to buy just minutes ago. Kibum must have done something good in his past life- even if he dies right now, he would die in the hands of a downright angel, which is more than he deserved for the things he has done.

"Key, okay. I got some painkillers. Will you be able to swallow them? They might help a bit."

He nods and Taemin gently helps him sit up and gulp down the pills. Kibum feels himself slip into unconsciousness, and for the first time in a while, he hopes that it won't be the last time he goes to sleep.
