[At Seoul University]

"I heard there is a new English professor coming. I heard he's young and handsome." Yubin who is Haesoo's good friend spoke up about a new professor while they were heading to their class.

"I heard about it too. But why do you have to be this excited?" Haesoo shook her head in disbelief at how her friend easily fell in love with handsome men even before she meets them.

"I heard he's from LA. He must be a handsome American Prince. I want to see him soon. I really can't wait anymore and he's gonna come to our class at last session too. Omg I can't wait." Yubin kept going on her day dream until they reached class.

Haesoo kept chuckling at her friend. She is different. She has no interest in such stuff.

The atmosphere in the class was silent from first session until third session. Yet it changed to be very noisy when a new English professor who everyone was looking forward to meeting came in the last session.

"Wowwww who is that tall and handsome man? Is he our new English professor?" Yubin exclaimed to Haesoo as soon as she saw the handsome man enter.

Not just Yubin but almost all students including male students got impressed by the beauty of their new lecturer and the most surprising thing, he doesn't look American like everyone thought. 

"He doesn't look like American, anyway!" Haesoo was judging his unlike-American appearance rather than his beauty.

The class went wild noisy because everyone was busy gossiping about the new professor.

Mr. Professor cleared his throat a bit loud to stop the noise.....     "Ahaemmm....."

Everyone went quiet to pay attention to their new teacher as he was like he is going to say anything. 

"Hello, everyone! Perhaps you've heard some about me already. I'm a new English professor. I'll teach your class too. My name's Kwak Aron. I'm from America. We'll meet each other very often from now on. I hope we'll get along well. Nice to know you all!"

Aron, the new English lecturer introduced himself to the class, standing handsomely next to teacher desk while spreading his charming smile to everyone. 

"Wow nice to meet you too, Professor Kwak!"

All students welcomed their new lecturer with a loud clap.

Aron showed them bigger smile in American sense that made all the girls got lost.

"Well, do you have any question? Ask me freely, I'm gonna answer." Aron added to the class.  

"Teacher, you're so handsome." A girl raised up her hand to speak and praised him.

Aron just nodded his head as a sign of thank you.

"You look so young. How old are you? You don't look like American also you can speak Korean so well. Are you half blooded Korean?" A male student raised up questions that everyone wanted to know the same.

"Thanks for your questions! I'm 28 years old. Well, not half but 100% Korean! My parents are Korean but they have moved to LA since long time ago so I was born and grown up there. I can say that I'm American and LA is my hometown." He answered as he was sitting on the edge of his desk, showing behavior that he freely allowed them to ask whatever. 

Students kept asking him about this and that a lot except Haesoo who was sitting soullessly thinking about her older brother, Kang Baekho, as his condition isn't fine lately. She was so soulless enough not to hear her new English professor was calling her name.....

"Kang Haesoo! Kang Haesoo! Is Kang Haesoo here?" Aron volumed up his voice.

"Haesoo, Teacher is calling your name." Yubin hit Haesoon shoulder slightly to wake her soul up.

"Oh, is he?... yes present, Teacher!" Haesoo came to reality but Aron seemed to get annoyed already.

He closed the attendance list strongly and became so pissed off. 

The atmosphere changed...

"I'm checking class attendance. If you come to study, pay attention!" He warned and his smiling face disappeared that made the whole class went totally dead silent with his sudden madness. 

Haesoo felt guilty. 

"I'm sorry, Teacher!" she quickly got up and bowed to apologize.

"Come to my office after class!" He ended his talk with her by telling her to go to his office later. Then he started the lesson.

Haesoo felt really sad to make the new professor already got bad feeling on his first day because of her.

[ Aron's Personal Office ]

Haesoo went to Aron's personal office after class, refusing to get Yubin's accompany.

"Teacher, here I come." She kept facing down as she felt so regret and guilty for unintentionally making her teacher down.  

"Kang Haesoo!" He called out her full name in his unfriendly tone.

"Yes!" Haesoo became a bit scared.

"I know I'm a new teacher here but I didn't become a teacher without ability. I know I'm still young but I've been teaching in U.S for 3 years before I came here. I think it should be enough for you to put trust on me and start learning together." He said while resting his back on his chair and kept looking at her with mean eyes.

Haesoo was so surprised to get confused by her teacher that way. She quickly explained. 

"I didn't mean to disrespect you. I didn't mean not to pay attention in your class. I was just worrying....." She hasn't finished her word yet but he interrupted.

"Whatever! Students come to study. This behavior is disrespecting on me. No more next time, I hope! And you can go now!" He quickly stopped her from speaking out any accuse.

Haesoo didn't dare to say anything anymore. She just bowed deeply then left. She doesn't feel well when she can't explain better than this and cleared up her teacher confusion on her.

After left Aron's office, she was walking back to class and on the way she met her long term good male friend, Jeonghan who is studying in Law class in different building.  

"Hi Haesoo, I heard new English lecturer called you to his office. Are you okay?" He asked worryingly.

"Hmm it was my mistake but it's okay now. Don't worry! I'm just not happy because I make him think I dislike him as a new teacher. He told me to leave before I can explain any further." Haesoo gave a deep sigh.

"What is the big deal? You just didn't hear he was calling out your name and he already called you to office to scold? He's just 28 years old, only 5 or 6 years older than us. How could he act this high? I don't like him already. I hope he won't teach in my class." Jeonghan kept complaining and expressing how he dislikes the new lecturer's improper behavior to slight accident.
