The next day after touring through some clubs with Jisung the two went to the swimming pool, Yohan really didn’t want to but he promised to help his dad out until they could get a club manager so he couldn’t back out now.

When they got to the pool they prepared drinks and towels for everyone and went to take a seat like they usually do, slowly everyone started arriving and soon enough practice started, Yohan did his best to ignore Hyunjin’s presence, especially because the boy kept staring at him most of the time.

When practice was over Jisung went to wash the towels and Yohan was marking off that everyone attended the practice, that’s the only time he lost focus on everyone around him, and he regretted it fast enough.

“Yohan…” that voice was enough to make Yohan want to run away.

“Can I help you?” Yohan said without lifting his head.

“Can I talk to you?” 

“You already are,” Yohan said in an uninterested voice, Hyunjin could only let out a small sigh.

“I want to make it up to you,” Hyunjin said softly but Yohan could only roll his eyes.

“I don’t want an apology, but if you could stay as far away from me as far possible I would be really thankful,” Yohan said as he got up, he brushed past Hyunjin and went over to his father’s office to give him all the paperwork he finished up.

“Hey, Hyunjin what was that about?” Chan asked when he saw the boy looking as if he was going to cry.

Hyunjin just shook his head and blinked a little. “It’s nothing Captain, I should get going” 

“I’ll walk with you, and just so you know Yohan is really cold to everyone, I’ve known him since I joined the team in my first year here, and let me tell you it’s been 3 years and I still can’t get close to him at all”  Chan tried to comfort him.

“It’s my fault” Hyunjin mumbled, Chan heard him and curiously looked at the boy, it seemed like those words the boy uttered broke the boy.

“I’m going to go for a run, I will see you at practice, tomorrow captain,” Hyunjin said and ran off. He needed to keep the wall up, he shouldn’t get close to Chan, he told himself that since they met the first time but the older made it quite hard.

Chan couldn’t help but worry about the two, what was going on with them? Why did Yohan ignore Hyunjin like that, he didn’t even act like that with anyone else so why was he so bad with Hyunjin? And for Hyunjin, why does he keep looking guilty whenever he sees Yohan? And why did he look that broken?

He just hoped they would be able to work through whatever was wrong soon, he hated seeing people upset with one another but both were too cold to help them makeup, he couldn’t find out what happened between them so he couldn’t find a way to help them out.

Yohan handed his dad the paperwork and his father immediately picked up on the change in Yohan.

“What happened?” He asked the boy.

“It’s nothing, don’t worry,” Yohan said as he filed away the paperwork.

“It’s not nothing,” his dad said seriously, “I thought we agreed that you won’t shut me out again” 

“Hyunjin wants to make it up to me, but I just want him to stay away from me, so it’s really nothing dad, let’s finish up and get going,” He said and left the office to go help Jisung fold the towels.

Jisung saw that the boy was down but he knew better than to ask, so he just let him be, when they Parted ways to leave Jisung gave the boy a quick and tight hug before he ran off after saying goodbye to the boy.

Yohan was a little surprised but he couldn’t help but smile a little, whenever he was having a bad day Jisung would never ask him what happened or pry into it but instead he would just smother him with affection and he was really thankful for it.

The car ride home was quiet, his dad didn’t know what to do since he saw the boy suffer so much because of Hyunjin but also didn’t want to have Yohan regret pushing him away later on.
