Suzy’s POV 

It's been a month since that night at my house and things have been good at the moment. Jang-Mi is starting preschool next week. At first, I was hesitant, afraid that something might happen to her. However Rosé reassured me that she was going to be cared for by the teachers, so at last, I decided to let her attend school. She was very happy knowing she would go to school and make new friends. 

Knowing that man is out there scares me, however, I’ll just have to keep my eyes open every time I go out with my daughter. Rosé has been keeping me updated on how the search is going, every day I pray that they catch him. 

I was brought back to reality by the doorbell. I go and check and see that it is Rosé. I had totally forgotten that today she was going with us to the dentist and doctor. I open the door and she’s wearing jeans with a white shirt and a black blazer. “Hey are you ready, we should leave before we come up with traffic.” she said, concerned “I am, I’ll just wake up Jang-Mi she just fell asleep,” I said walking towards her room leaving Rosé in the living room 

“Hey baby, wake up,” I said moving her body when I didn’t get a response. I put on her shoes and picked her up in my arms and walked out “Here let me help you, give her to me you get her stuff.” She said taking her from me, Rosé has always been helpful with our daughter and I couldn’t be more thankful. I always wonder how she would raise a newborn, i should stop imagining because my ovaries can’t take it. 

“Let’s go.” Rosé said taking the lead, once I locked my door we headed to the elevator. When the doors closed we fell into a comfortable silence and we made it out and headed towards the car. 

“Should we take my car.?” I ask “No, let's take mine, I bought a new car seat. She should use it before she gets older and needs a new one.” She said with a smile, when she’s done strapping Jang-Mi to the car seat I make my way to the back of the seat. When I am stopped by her “What are you doing.?” she asked, grabbing my wrist, “Sitting in the backseat, rumors might spread if they see us together.” I said 

“Let them spread, we aren't doing anything wrong, were two parents taking their daughter to her doctor's appointments.” She told me taking me to the passenger seat of her car. “Alright, I warned you though,” I said getting inside the car 

Once she turned the engine on, we left for Jang-Mi’s primary doctor, which was my father’s hospital. “Is your girlfriend okay with you being with us today?” I asked her when we were at a stop “why wouldn’t she.” she asked looking at me “Well you know because you're with me.” I said “honestly lately she doesn’t care what I am doing, so I don’t think she’ll mind.” She said 

I wondered if they were having problems, I was going to ask her but decided against it. “Maybe she’s just stressed about work.” I said “Maybe.” she said whispering those words 

When we made it to the hospital we parked in the parking lot and by this time Jang-Mi had woken up surprised to see we were at the hospital. “Eomma I don’t want to be here, can we go back home?” She said on the verge of tears, I turned around to reassure her it would be quick “Jang-Mi you need to see the doctor before you go to school okay, we will do it fast.” I said 

“Mom tell Eomma I don’t want to.” Jang-Mi said to Rosé “Honey your Eomma is right, if you want to go to school you have to go. But hey don’t worry you have me to hold you okay.” Rosé told her which got her a nod from our daughter 

After Jang-Mi found out Rosé was her other parent, she was surprised but most of all she was very happy. Since then she has been asking me nonstop to let her go spend the nights with her. Of course I let her go, I wanted them to recover the time I took from them both, they have been inseparable since then. We both get out of the car with masks hoping it will at least help us cover our identities. Rosé gets Jang-Mi out of the car and holds her hand, and we head towards the pediatrics department. 

“Hi, we're here to see Doctor Lee.” I said “Okay let me see here, the name of the patient.?” “Park Jang-Mi.” I said “Here she is, have a seat and the doctor will call in a few minutes.” She said telling us where to sit 

“People are starting to wonder who we are.” Rosé told me, chuckling, “I bet they already figured out that Korea’s first love is right in front of them.” “Then later we will see in the news picture of us.” I told her “I don’t mind.” She said continuing to play with our daughter.

“Ms.Bae the doctor is ready for you.” the nurse told us, we got up and followed her to Doctor Lee’s office. Once inside Rosé and I take our masks off and say hello to him “Suzy it's been a while how are you.” He told me, you see, he's one of my dad’s best friends. “I been good, I came because Jang-Mi is in need of a check-up for school,” I said 

“Oh wow Jang-Mi you’re going to school already,” He said, getting to her level, my daughter being shy around doctors hid behind Rosé’s leg “Jang-Mi say hello.” Rosé said, “Don’t worry it’s fine, You must be Rosé.” The doctor said to her extending his hand to greet her 

“Yes, I’m her… I would say, biological father.” She said to which the doctor didn’t seem shocked. “Do you identify as a woman or-” “Yes a woman, I just have the male reproductive system, that's how this one was conceive.” I hit her arm, Doctor Lee just laughs 

“Well let’s get started, today we will do a physical examination, weight and height and blood pressure. Today we will just be giving her the chickenpox and influenza vaccines.” He said “That sounds good.” 

When Doctor Lee was done with the physical exam, it was time for the vaccines and when Jang-Mi heard Doctor Lee tell the nurse to get the vaccines ready she started crying. “Why are you crying? We haven't started yet.” Doctor Lee said 

“Eomma, I don't want to go to school anymore, take me home.” Jang-Mi said in between sobs which made everyone laugh “Jang-Mi baby it will just be like last time I’ll be pretty fast and after we can get ice cream.” I said “Yes it won’t hurt, if you want to sit on my lap I’ll hold you.” Rosé said who got a yes from our daughter 

Once the nurse came, Rosé grabbed our daughter and by this point Jang-Mi had stopped crying. Rosé started distracting her, so that she didn’t feel the need
